Bevor Sie dieses Produkt benutzen, überprüfen Sie bitte, ob irgendetwas in der Verpackung fehlt, und wenden Sie sich an Ihren Händler, um fehlende Teile zu melden.
Installation
1. Benutzen Sie ein Ethernetkabel, um den WAN-Anschluss des Routers mit
dem LAN-Anschluss Ihres Modems zu verbinden.

2. Stecken Sie den beigefügten Netzadapter in den 5 V DC-Stromeingang des
Routers und das andere Ende in eine Stromsteckdose.
3. Achten Sie darauf, dass der “Wi-Fi On/Off”-Schalter auf On steht und dass
die Netz-LED und die WAN-LED leuchten. Wenn nicht, ist der Router nicht richtig angeschlossen.
4. Benutzen Sie ein Wi-Fi-Gerät (z.B. Computer, Tablet, Smartphone), um mit
dem WLAN-Namen "edimax.setup" nach einem Wi-Fi-Netzwerk zu suchen und sich mit ihm zu verbinden.
5. Ö ffnen Sie einen Web-Browser, und wenn Sie nicht automatisch auf den
unten gezeigten “Get Started”-Bildschirm gelangen, geben Sie die URL
http://edimax.setup ein. Wählen Sie Ihre Sprache aus dem
Dropdown-Menü und klicken auf “Get Started”, um den Einrichtungsvorgang zu beginnen.

Anmerkung: Wenn Sie nicht auf http://edimax.setup
zugreifen können, achten Sie bitte darauf, dass Ihr Computer so eingestellt ist, dass er eine dynamische IP-Adresse benutzt. Das ist ein einfacher Vorgang, und im Benutzerhandbuch erhalten Sie schrittweise Anweisungen, wie das zu machen ist.
6. Achten Sie darauf, dass Ihr Router richtig an Ihr Modem angeschlossen ist,

Wenn Sie PPPoE benutzen, geben Sie bitte den Benutzernamen und
das Passwort ein, welche Ihnen von Ihrem Internet Service Provider gegeben wurden, und klicken auf “Next”, um fortzufahren:
Andere Benutzer wählen bitte Ihren WAN-Verbindungstyp manuell aus

Hinweis: Wenn Sie sich nicht sicher sind, welchen

9. Geben Sie bitte einen Netzwerknamen (SSID) und ein Wi-Fi-Passwort für
jedes der 2,4 GHz und 5 GHz Wi-Fi-Netzwerke des BR-6478AC ein und klicken auf "Next", um fortzufahren.
Hinweis: Merken Sie sich bitte diese Details. Sie können
sie am Ende dieser Schnellinstallationsanleitung in "Wi-Fi-Einstellungen" aufschreiben.

10. Sie sehen den Bildschirm unten, auf dem eine Zusammenfassung Ihrer
Wi-Fi-Einstellungen und die Beendigung der Konfiguration angezeigt wird. Klicken Sie bitte auf “Next”, um fortzufahren.
11. Sie sehen einen abschließenden "Congratulations"-Bildschirm und
"Configuration is now complete (Konfiguration ist jetzt beendet)". Wählen Sie bitte Ihr Browser-Fenster.

12. Benutzen Sie ein Ethernetkabel, um einen beliebigen LAN-Anschluss
am Router mit dem Ethernetanschluss an einem Computer oder anderen Netzwerkgerät, das Sie anschließen möchten, zu verbinden. Bezüglich
Wi-Fi-Anschlüsse siehe nächsten Schritt.
13. Jetzt können Sie ein Wi-Fi-Gerät benutzen, um sich mit den
Drahtlosnetzwerken des BR-6478AC zu verbinden.
Hinweis: Die folgenden Schritte sind ein Beispiel dafür, wie
Sie sich mit einem Wi-Fi-Netzwerk verbinden. Wenn Sie andere Geräte und Betriebssysteme benutzen, kann der Vorgang etwas anders sein - bitte verbinden Sie sich mit einem Wi-Fi-Netzwerk in der für Ihr Betriebssystem üblichen Weise.

Windows
Klicken Sie auf das Netzwerksymbol ( , oder ) in der Schnellstartleiste und wählen “Connect to a network (Mit einem Netzwerk verbinden)”.
Mac & mobile Geräte
Sehen Sie sich die vorhandenen Wi-Fi-Netzwerke an, die für Ihr Gerät üblich sind - auf einem Mac-Computer klicken Sie auf das Symbol oben rechts auf Ihrem Bildschirm.
14. Windows
Suchen Sie nach dem Netzwerknamen, den Sie früher benannt haben, und klicken auf "Connect (Verbinden)". Wenn Sie ein Passwort für Ihr Netzwerk einrichten, werden Sie aufgefordert, es einzugeben. Nachdem Sie Ihr Passwort eingegeben haben, werden Sie erfolgreich mit Ihrem Wi-Fi-Netzwerk des BR-6478AC

verbunden.
Mac & mobile Geräte
Klicken Sie auf den Netzwerknamen Ihres Netzwerks. Wenn Sie ein Passwort für Ihr Netzwerk einrichten, werden Sie aufgefordert, es einzugeben. Nachdem Sie Ihr Passwort richtig eingegeben haben, werden Sie erfolgreich mit Ihrem Wi-Fi-Netzwerk verbunden.
Wenn Ihr Drahtlosgerät WPS unterstützt, können Sie auch die WPS-Taste
benutzen (siehe unten).

WPS Setup
Wenn Ihr Drahtlosgerät WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) unterstützt, dann können Sie diese Methode benutzen, um sich mit den Wi-Fi-Netzwerken des BR-6478AC zu verbinden.
1. Drücken Sie die WPS-Taste am Router, um WPS für
2,4 GHz und 5 GHz zu aktivieren.
2. Halten Sie die WPS-Taste am drahtlosen
Gerät/Client innerhalb von 2 Minuten gedrückt, um
sein WPS zu aktivieren.
3. Die Geräte stellen eine Verbindung her. Ob die
Verbindung 2,4 GHz oder 5 GHz ist, hängt vom drahtlosen Gerät/Client ab. Wiederholen Sie das für weitere drahtlose Geräte.
Hinweis: Schauen Sie bitte in den Anleitungen für Ihr
drahtloses Gerät nach, wie lange Sie die WPS-Taste gedrückt halten müssen, um WPS zu aktivieren.

Fehlersuche
1. Ich erhalte keinen Zugang zum Internet.
1. Achten Sie darauf, dass alle Kabel richtig angeschlossen sind. Probieren Sie ein
anderes Ethernetkabel aus.
2. Ü berprüfen Sie, ob Sie auf die web-basierte Konfigurationsschnittstelle zugreifen
können. Wenn nicht, siehe bitte 2. Ich kann die web-basierte Konfigurationsschnittstelle nicht öffnen.
3. Melden Sie sich bei der web-basierten Konfigurationsschnittstelle an und gehen
zu Internet > WAN Setup und überprüfen, ob der Verbindungstyp richtig ist. Wenn Sie sich nicht sicher sind, fragen Sie Ihren Internet Service Provider (ISP).
4. Schließen Sie Ihren Computer direkt an Ihr Modem an und überprüfen, ob Sie
Zugang zum Internet haben. Wenn nicht, bitten Sie Ihren Internet Service Provider um Hilfe.
2. Ich kann die web-basierte Konfigurationsschnittstelle nicht
öffnen.

automatically, dann klicken Sie auf OK.
3. Wie setze ich meinen Router auf die Werksstandardeinstellungen
zurück?
Um den Router auf die Werksstandardeinstellungen zurückzusetzen, halten Sie die WPS/Reset-Taste mehr als 10 Sekunden lang gedrückt, bis die Netz-LED beginnt zu blinken. Wenn der Router neu gestartet wird, werden alle Einstellungen zurückgesetzt.
4. Ich habe mein Passwort vergessen.
Setzen Sie den Router auf seine Werksstandardeinstellungen zurück und benutzen den Standardbenutzernamen admin und das Standardpasswort 1234.
