In order to reverse the door swing:
NOTE: Please take all appropriate safety measures. If you are not comfortable
performing any of the required steps, please a) find someone else more qualified to make
the desired changes or b) do not perform these operations.
1) Empty the wine cooler of all contents (wine, shelves, etc.)
NOTE: be extremely careful not to scratch the finish of the machine.
2) Using a small flat head screwdriver, gently pry off the hinge cover (located on the
upper right top corner of the unit)
3) Using the same tool, gently pry off the cover on the opposite side of the top front of
the machine
4) Using a philips head screwdriver, unscrew the three screws holding the top hinge onto
the unit. Please note that the door is only secured to the unit by this top hinge and the
bottom hinge, so accordingly support the door when the top hinge screws are getting
loose.
5) Once the three screws have been removed, take off the hinge and remove the door. Set
these pieces aside for the moment.
6) Turn the unit on its side or top (again, be careful not to scratch the finish or damage the
unit.
7) Unscrew the large leveling leg located near the front of the unit. Set it aside
8) Note the position of the lower hinge. Now unscrew it from the bottom of the unit.
9) Replace the lower hinge on the other side of the unit. Try to position the hinge in as
similar as possible a position to the position it was previously in (on the other side of the
unit). Screw the hinge in.
10) Replace the large leveling leg on the side of the unit that the hinge was previously.
11) Turn the unit right side up.
12) Using a flat head screw driver or a box cutter (be extremely careful not to cut
yourself or damage the unit) pry the caps off the top and bottom of the door. Set them
aside.
13) Using a pair of pliers, pull the hinge pins out of the door's top and bottom.
14) Move the hinge pins to the holes that the caps were in and gently hammer them into
place.
15) Place the caps in the holes that the hinge pins were in and gently hammer them into
place.
16) Place the door into the lower hinge and position the door properly against the cabinet.
When closed, the rubber gasket should completely seal around the cabinet.
17) While holding the door in place, position the upper hinge over the door's upper hinge
pin and screw the hinge into the cabinet.
18) Check to make sure the door swings open and shut properly. If the door works fine,
move onto the next step. If the door does not open or close correctly, adjust the hinges as
needed.
19) Replace the hinge cover over the upper hinge and gently snap or hammer it into
place.
20) Replace the other cover on the top of the unit and gently snap or hammer it into
place.
21) If you wish to switch the handle to the other side of the wine cooler door (if your unit
came with a handle) follow these steps:
a) Using a flat head screw driver or a box cutter (be extremely careful not to cut yourself
or damage the unit) pry the 4 caps off the sides of the door.
b) Unscrew the handle from the side of the door.
c) Reposition the handle on the other side of the door. Screw it in.
d) Replace the caps over the screw holes in the door
