A: It is an 11 lbs kit.
Q: Can I use metal blades with the SRM-1500 model?
A: It is a model that can be used with blades but additional parts such as a Blade Conversion Kit need to be purchased from any ECHO authorized dealer.
Q: What is the appropriate way to start the engine?
A: To A cold engine, push the choke lever to COLD START, press the throttle trigger with caution, and pull the starter handle until the engine starts, then move the choke switch to RUN position and start the engine.
Q: How often should I clean or replace the air filter?
A: Priot to using the air filter, it is suggested to get it cleaned and replaced as deemed appropriate.
Q: For example, if the engine does not start, what should I do?
A: Look for (i) fuel in the tank; (ii) a functioning fuel filter and fuel line; (iii) a working spark plug; and (iv) a functioning ignition system.
Q: Are these models fitted with anti-vibration systems?
A: The anti-vibration system that uses rubber cushions is integrated into SRM-2300 whereas the SRM-1500 does not come integrated with this system.
