SUBJECT: PTO 3-POINT BRACE

WARNING

Before inspecting or servicing any part of this machine,
shut off power source, remove key, disconnect the
battery cables and make sure all moving parts have
come to a complete stop.

These instructions will describe how to: Install the 3-point
hitch brace kit.

REMOVE BELT GUARDS

Remove the Upper PTO belt guard from the chipper 1.
by removing the eight bolts.

CUT UPPER BELT GUARD

1. Cut a rectangular hole into the Upper PTO Belt Guard
following the measurements provided in Figure 2.

If you do not want to cut your shields, you can purchase
pre-cut shields separately by contacting your dealer.

2. From the outside edge, measure in 11.69" to make
the outside edge cut.

3. The cut needs to be 16.55" in height and 1.5" in
width.

1. You must drill a hole in the Chipper Bottom Weldment
(in the Channel Bracket) to be able to attach the
Brace PTO 3-Point Weldment. Follow the
measurements below:

The hole must be drilled 12.22" from the outside edge
and 0.75" in from the edge of the bracket to the middle
of the hole. The hole must be 0.66" diameter.

DRILL HOLE BRACE WELDMENT

1. You must drill a hole to allow the Brace PTO 3-Point
Weldment to be bolted to the Chipper Bottom
Weldment.
The hole must be drilled 4.12" from the top of the
weldment and 2.38" in from the edge of the weldment
to the middle of the hole. The hole must be 0.69"
diameter.
