Caution when measuring high temperatures! Do not touch the temperature
sensor with bare hands immediately
after measuring! Risk of burn injury! As a
basic principle, do not put the
thermometer in the hot zone during

Das Präzisions-Thermometer ist ein

Das geeichte Thermometer darf als amtliches Kontrollthermometer zur Überwachung der Temperaturen von
tiefgefrorenen Lebensmitteln gemäß
Richtlinie 92/2/EWG verwendet werden.
Die Elektronik wird durch einen Mikro-

1 Description
The precision thermometer is a handy
measuring instrument operated with a
lithium battery for various measuring and
control tasks in the laboratory and the
industry.
The adjusted thermometer may be used
as official control thermometer for
controlling the temperatures of deep
frozen food in accordance with 92/2/EWG
directive.
The electronics are controlled by a
microprocessor. This ensures a high
measuring precision and linearity over the
complete measuring range.
A waterproof probe is fixed to the
thermometer.

1 Description
Ce thermomètre de précision est un
instrument maniable alimenté par une
pile au lithium, destiné à de multiples
prises de mesures et tâches de con-trôle
au laboratoire et dans l’industrie.
Ce thermomètre étalonné peut être utilisé
comme thermomètre de con-trôle officiel
pour la surveillance de la température
des denrées alimentaires surgelées
conformément à la directive 92/2/CEE.
La partie électronique est commandée
par un microprocesseur qui garantit des
valeurs exactes et linéaires sur toute la
plage de mesures.

3.1 Thermometer einschalten
Schalten Sie das Thermometer ein. Drük-
ken Sie dazu die Taste »ON/OFF« min-
destens eine Sekunde lang.
Das Gerät führt einen Systemtest durch,
wobei alle Segmente in der Anzeige ei-
nige Sekunden sichtbar sind.
Danach wird der Messkanal getestet. In
der Anzeige lesen Sie »rEF«.
Anschließend erscheint der erste Mess-
wert in °C. Das Thermometer ist
messbereit.

3.1 Switching on the
thermometer

3 Utilisation
3.1 Mise en marche du
thermomètre
Switch on the thermometer. Therefore
press the “ON/OFF” button for at least
one second.
The device will perform a system test
during which all segments are visible in
the display.
After this the measuring channel is
tested. The display shows “rEF“.
Afterwards the first measured value will
appear in °C. The thermometer is ready.
Mettez le thermomètre en marche. Pour
cela, appuyez sur la touche « ON/OFF »
pendant au moins une seconde.
L’instrument effectue un test système
pendant lequel tous les éléments de
l’écran d’affichage sont visibles.
Ensuite, le canal de mesure est testé.
L’affichage indique « rEF ».
Enfin s’affiche la première valeur mesurée en °C. Le thermomètre est prêt à
fonctionner.

3.2 Temperaturmessung
Das Verlängerungskabel für den
Messfühler darf nicht geknickt oder
eingeklemmt werden. Nur so vermeiden Sie Beschädigungen und Messfehler.
Das Thermometer schaltet sich nach
zwei Betriebsstunden automatisch
aus, um die Batterie zu schonen.
Positionieren Sie den Messfühler.
Setzen Sie den Messfühler immer
bestimmungsgemäß ein. Nur so vermeiden Sie Fehlmessungen.
Warten Sie bis sich der Messwert
stabilisiert hat. Am unteren Rand der
Anzeige erscheint ein auf der Spitze stehendes Dreieck.

Ist die Messung beendet, schalten Sie
das Gerät mit »ON/OFF« aus.
3.3 Arbeiten mit dem Messwertspeicher
Der maximale und minimale Messwert werden während einer Messung
gespeichert. Löschen Sie den Inhalt
des Messwertspeichers vor einer
neuen Messung.

If an error message is displayed,
refer to chapter 5 “Troubleshooting”

3.2 Temperature measuring
The extension wire for the probe must
not be broken or jammed, in order
to avoid damage and faulty
measurements.
For saving battery power, the thermometer will switch of automatically
after 2 hours of operation.
Position the sensor.
Use the probe only as directed, in
order to avoid faulty measurements.
Wait until the measured value has stabilized. A triangle on its point appears at
the lower edge of the display.
When the measurement is finished,
switch the device off by pressing ”ON/
OFF“.

3.2 Mesure de la température

Attendez que la valeur mesurée soit
stabilisée. En bas de l’écran, un triangle
pointant vers le bas apparaît. À la fin de
la mesure, éteignez l’instrument en
appuyant sur « ON/OFF ».
3.3 Working with the
measurement memory
During the measurement, the
maximum and minimum readings are
saved. Before performing a new
measurement, erase the measurement memory.

Drücken Sie die Taste »CLR«. Der Inhalt
des Messwertspeichers wird gelöscht.
Speicherinhalt abrufen
Drücken Sie zunächst die Taste »MIN/
MAX« einmal. Der Schriftzug MIN und der
niedrigste Messwert der aktuellen Messung werden Ihnen angezeigt.
Drücken Sie die Taste »MIN/MAX«
erneut.In der Anzeige erscheinen der
Schriftzug MAX und der größte Messwert
der aktuellen Messung.
Um wieder zur Temperaturmessung zurückzukehren drücken Sie die Taste
»MIN/MAX« nochmals.

Schriftzug HOLD erscheint.
Der aktuelle Messwert wird nun gespeichert und solange angezeigt, bis Sie die

Berlin zur Eichung zugelassen.
Die Eichung können Sie bei jeder Landeseichbehörde beantragen.
Die Eichung ist zwei Jahre gültig und wird
Ihnen mit dem Eichschein und dem Eichzeichen auf dem Thermometer bestätigt.

4 Adjustment
The thermometer TFF 200 is accredited
for adjustment from the Physical and
Technical Federal Office in Berlin.
You can file an application for adjustment
in every Landeseichbehörde (State
Calibration Office).
The adjustment is validated for two years
and is approved with the adjustment
certification and adjustment mark on the
thermometer.

4 Étalonnage
Le thermomètre TFF 200 est homologué
pour l’étalonnage par l’Office technique
fédéral de physique de Berlin.
Vous pouvez demander cette homologation auprès de toutes les autorités
nationales d’étalonnage.
L’étalonnage est valable deux ans et
vous est attesté par le certificat
d’étalonnage et le marquage sur le
thermomètre.

6 Kalibrierservice
Um eine hohe Messgenauigkeit zu garantieren, muss das Thermometer jährlich kalibriert werden. Dazu bietet die
ebro Electronic GmbH & Co. KG einen
Kalibrierservice an.
• Füllen Sie die beiliegende Servicekarte aus.
• Nach einem Jahr rufen wir Ihr Thermometer zur Kalibrierung ab.
• Innerhalb einer Woche erhalten Sie
das Thermometer kalibriert zurück.

In order to guarantee a high measuring
precision, the thermometer must be
calibrated every year. Therefore ebro
Electronic GmbH & Co. KG offers a
calibration service.
• Fill in the enclosed service card.
• After one year we will recall your
thermometer for calibration.
• The calibrated thermometer will be
returned within one week.
