_ ASSEMBLY______ ____
Your EatSmart Precision Retro requires some minor assembly
before first use. Follow these directions to properly assemble your
scale and ensure accurate weights.
1. Remove the Precision Retro scale, weighing platform and
stainless steel bowl from the packaging. Set packaging
aside.
2. Carefully unscrew the two screws and washers from the
legs of the scale. Place the washers aside as they are no
longer need.
3. Position the weighing platform so the concave side for
holding the bowl is facing upward. Align the holes in the
weight platform with the two legs and insert the screws.
4. Screw down the weighing platform so that it is secure and
does not easily tilt or rock. You should
washers for securing the weighing platform.
5. Place the stainless steel bowl on top of the weighing
platform and you are ready to calibrate your scale.

Weighing Operation
Your EatSmart Precision Retro operates as a multifunction
weighing apparatus, useful for a variety of everyday tasks around
the home.
1. Place the scale on a hard, flat surface.
2. Place the stainless steel bowl on so that it is stable on the
weighing platform.
3. Locate the black “tare” knob in back of the scale’s base
behind the legs.
4. Turn the black knob unit the scale’s pointer reaches zero on
the dial.
5. Take the bowl back off the scale and place the first ingredient
into the bowl.
6. Place the bowl back on the scale and read the weight.
Important: For ease of use in adding ingredients, your stainless steel
bowl is not permanently attached to the base of your scale. It is
strongly recommended that you take the bowl off the scale while
putting ingredients into it and taking them out. This will greatly
reduce the risk of spilling ingredients onto your scale.

workmanship of the product under normal use for a period of
two (2) years from the date of retail purchase. The warranty
does not cover damages resulting from misuse, abuse,
immersion, normal wear and tear or unauthorized

__ CARE & MAINTINANCE__
To protect your EatSmart Precision Retro in the best possible
condition follow these directions as closely as possible.
1. Store and operate the unit in safe dry location. Drastic
changes in temperature over time can negatively affect the
quality of weight measurement. Do not expose to direct
sunlight, extreme hot/cold or humidity.
2. Clean with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners and
never sink or submerge in water. Submerging the scale in
water will trap water inside the scale, damaging it and
voiding the warranty.
3. The stainless bowl is top shelf dishwasher safe.
4. Never place your scale or the bowl in the microwave.
5. Use unit consistent with instructions provided in this
manual.
