The ignition must be turned OFF before
installation.
1 Remove the main seat and the passenger seat.
2 Remove the two bolts securing the tail cover as
shown in Figure A. Remove the tail cover.
3 Place the PCIII USB EX in the tail section and
route the wiring harness on the inside of the
tail section towards the front of the bike as
shown in Figure A.

4 Remove the fuel tank.
5 Remove the eight screws securing the air box
lid as shown in Figure B. Remove the air box
lid.
6 Remove the five bolts securing the air box as
shown in Figure C. Remove the air box.

7 Locate the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS)
connector above the left hand side of the
engine. This is a white 3-pin connector as
shown in Figure D.
Disconnect the TPS connector.
8 Attach the white connectors from the
PCIII USB EX to the TPS stock connectors as
shown in Figure E.

9 Locate the fuel rail connector behind the
injector bodies as shown in Figure F. This
connector is brown in color.
Disconnect the fuel rail connector.

10 Attach the grey connectors from the
PCIII USB EX to the fuel rail connectors as
shown in Figure G.
11 Attach the ground wire from the PCIII USB EX
to the negative side of the battery.

12 Install the PCIII USB EX in the tail section of
the bike as shown in Figure I. Use the supplied
alcohol swab to clean both surfaces before
attaching the velcro.
