The ignition must be turned OFF before
installation.
1 Remove the seat.
2 Remove the front two fuel tank mounting
bolts.
3 Prop the front of the fuel tank up.
4 Remove the left hand mid fairing.
5 Unplug the connector as shown in Figure A.
6 Route the PCIII USB EX harness from the
inside of the frame and come out in between
the mounts for the left hand radiator as shown
in Figure B.

7 Attach the connectors from the PCIII USB EX to
the stock connector as shown in Figure C.

8 Lift the cover over the battery to access the
terminals.
9 Attach the ground wire from the PCIII USB EX
to the negative side of the battery as shown in
Figure D.
10 Reinstall the battery cover.

11 Using the supplied velcro, attach the
PCIII USB EX to the inner fender behind the
battery box as shown in Figure E. Make sure to
clean both surfaces with the alcohol swab
before attaching.
12 Reinstall the fuel tank and the seat.
13 Insert the cd provided into your computer’s
cd-rom drive.
14 Follow the on-screen instructions to install the
PCIII USB EX software.
