Charging the battery
Note: Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
1 Insert two or four AA rechargeable Ni-MH batteries
(included) into the battery compartment. Your
battery charger can also charge AAA batteries (not
included), which can be purchased separately.
2 Make sure that the polarity is correct (+ and -), as
indicated in the battery compartment.
3 Plug the charger into any available wall outlet. The
built-in switching power supply adjusts
automatically. When using overseas, a plug adaptor
may be required (not supplied). The red LED lights
when the batteries are charging. When the batteries
are fully charged (up to 12.5 hours), the charger
switches o and the LED turns o.
4 Remove the batteries and unplug the charger.

8 Unplug the charger from the outlet before attempting any
maintenance of cleaning. Use a damp cloth to clean the surface. Do
not immerse into water.
9 The appliance is not intended for use by children or inrm persons
without supervision. Children should be supervised to ensure that they
do not play with the appliance.
10 This power unit is intended to be correctly orientated in a vertical or
oor mount position.
11 Before scrapping your charger, remove the batteries from the unit and
dispose of them safely.
12 Don’t charge non-rechargeable batteries.
