INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE USE OF THE REMOTE ELECTROSTATIC
STIMULATION TRAINING COLLAR
Thank you for having chosen a training collar from the Effitek range and we hope that it will
give you great satisfaction.
The Effitek radio-controlled training collar is suitable for all dog breeds and types.
Designed in collaboration with behavioural specialists, it respects your dog. This product must
only be used for training or re-training a dog.
Read these instructions carefully before use.
Collar quick start
1- Insert the battery in the battery compartment
2- Put the remote control green point in front of the green point on the receiving unit: 1
beep is given off; the device is initialised
3- The collar is ready for use. To check, press the remote control "beep" button. 3 beeps

b) Magnetic contact point location for switching the appliance on (green point)
c) Luminous indicator: red LED
d) Battery access panel
On your training sessions, you have a "transmitter" remote control to enable you to take direct
action when your dog adopts undesirable behaviour. The receiver collar, placed on the dog's
neck, receives the signal transmitted by the remote control.
The collar then gives off, according to your choice, a beep, a "flash" electrostatic stimulation
or a continuous electrostatic stimulation (limited to 9 seconds), a beep + "flash" stimulation
combination or a beep + "continuous" stimulation combination.
You have 8 levels of electrostatic stimulation that you can increase or decrease according to
your dog's sensitivity and behaviour.
The appliance has a range of 300m. Obstacles and the way you hold the transmitter may affect
that range.
3- Switching the device on
3-1- Choice of electrodes
2 sets of electrodes are provided.
Choose the electrodes according to your dog's hair:
- Long-haired dog = long electrodes
- Short-haired dog = short electrodes
To fix the electrodes on the collar, clamping by hand, with no tools, is sufficient.
3-2- Inserting the batteries
Inserting the batteries in the receiver unit: Unscrew the battery access panel with the
disc/screwdriver.
Insert the 3V lithium battery observing the polarity -/+ shown on the top of the unit: a beep is
given off.
The remote control transmitter is already fitted with 2 x CR2354 batteries.
3-3- Switching the device on
Put the remote control green point against the green point on the receiver (magnetic
contacts) and turn the remote control around that point: an audible beep is given off + the
LED lights up for 50 ms = the appliance is ready for use.
The receiver is ready for a command from the transmitter.
3-4- Transmitter/ receiver synchronisation
Code the receiver collar on using it for the first time by pressing briefly on one of the three
buttons (beep / flash / continuous) on the remote control until 3 successive short beeps are
given off.
The receiver unit is now coded exclusively with the remote control used for its coding and is
in operating condition.
Note: The receiver collar loses its coding when the collar battery is removed for at least 45
seconds. To code the collar again, simply follow the step above.
3-5- Adjusting the collar to the dog's neck
Place the collar on the dog's neck, tightening it sufficiently (put a finger between the collar and
the animal's neck).
Check your dog's neck regularly. Do not use the collar for more than 8 hours a day.
4- Operating modes
4-1 - The different operating modes
You have four operating modes, as shown in the table on the following page.
8 pre-defined gradual levels of electrostatic stimulation so as to adapt the intensity of the
stimulation to the dog's sensitivity.
Each stimulation is shown by the LED on the receiver lighting up.

You can increase / decrease the levels of electrostatic stimulation from 1 to 8.
If you do not press again on the remote control, the digital screen turns off to save energy.
5- Turning off the receiver unit
Stop the appliance by quickly passing the remote control magnet against the green point
(magnetic contact): 1 long beep is given off + the LED lights up for 1 sec.
To turn off completely, remove the battery.
6- Battery state indicator
Receiver - collar battery flat: repeated flashing of the battery every 30 sec. Remove the collar
from the dog's neck so as to be able to change the battery.
Remote control-transmitter batteries flat: repeated flashing of the point at the bottom right of
the display.
Replace each of the batteries by new batteries recommended by Dynavet. Any damage to the
receiver or transmitter linked to the use of defective batteries invalidates the warranty.
On inserting the batteries, check the proper operation:
- of the transmitter: by pressing the "+" and "-" buttons
- of the receiver collar: the LED lighting up
7- Precautions for use
- Use this collar only on dogs of more than 6 months old
- Before using this collar, ask for your vet's view so as to check there will be no
unwanted effects
- This device is to be used with no other collar around the dog's neck
- The collar is waterproof
- To store the collar, we recommend you remove the battery from the unit
- Battery life
- Use only batteries distributed by Dynavet
- Do not try to open the unit as this would cancel the warranty
- Keep away from children
Use restricted to 6 times per hour for use totally in "continuous" mode over 9 seconds at a stretch.
