7 Maintenance and Troubleshooting

Camera Maintenance

 Please disconnect power when camera is not in use for long periods of

time. Use a soft cloth or paper to remove dust from camera housing.

 Please wipe with a dry soft cloth to clean camera lens. Use a gentle

neutral cleaner if dirt has accumulated. Do not use strong or corrosive

detergents which can scratch the lens and affect image quality.

Operating Tips

 Avoid pointing camera at direct sunlight, bright lights or bright objects.

 Avoid unstable lighting conditions, which can cause the image to flash.

 Do not use around devices that can transmit high-power radio waves,

such as radio-transmitting or television stations.

Troubleshooting

If the image jitters after the camera is properly connected,

1) Check whether the camera is installed on a stable surface.

2) Check for vibrating surfaces or machinery near the camera.

The camera can be mounted to monitors with thickness less than 170mm /

 Use of camera in an environment that does not conform to requirements

of the product.

 Uncontrollable factors such as fire, earthquake, lightning strike, etc.

 Warranty card does not match product number.
