DURO-LAST® DURO-WEAVE SEPARATION
Description:
Duro-Last® Duro-Weave
use with the Duro-Last roofing system. It is made from
high density polyethylene tapes and coated on one side
with low density polyethylene.
The Duro-Weave separation slip sheet is
chemical-resistant and has excellent weatherability
characteristics. It is highly resistant to mildew. Since it
is made of inert organic materials it does not provide
nutritive value to plants, animals, or microorganisms.
The Duro-Weave separation slip sheet may be used as
a separation layer placed between the Duro-Last roof
membrane and incompatible materia ls such as smooth
built-up roofs, single-ply roof membranes, expanded
polystyrene (EPS), extrud ed pol yst yrene (XPS), and
styrene-based facers on insulation. It may be used on
smooth roof decks, walls, and curbs.

The Duro-Weave separation slip sheet has a minimum
thickness of 3.5 mil (0.09 mm) and is 12 ft. x 328 ft.
(3.5 m x 100 m). It is delivered on a 12 ft. (3.5 m) tube.

Installation:
1. Attach the Duro-Weave separation slip sheet with as
many fasteners as are necessary to hold it in place.
2. Only Duro-Last approved fasteners and plates may
be used.
3. Overlap sections of the Duro-Weave by a minimum
of 6 inches (15 cm) on all sides.
