Description:

Duro-Caulk® Plus is a one-component, non-sag, elastomeric, neutral cure silicone sealant. It is available in white, gray, tan and bronze c olors. Duro- Caulk Plus is formu lated for use with all Duro-Last roofing system details that require sealant.

Duro-Caulk Plus is unaffected by most atmospheric conditions and will typic ally cure

within 48 hours. It is formulated to bond to substrates such as PVC, glass, aluminum, steel, plastic, c eramics, c oncretes, and wood. Its high-tack properties ensure a

weather-tight seal around penetrations, terminations and drain inserts.

Application:

1. Be sure that surfaces receiving caulk are

clean, dry and free of any oils, greases, or coatings that may interfere with adhesion.

2. Apply using a standard caulking gun. Do

not open the cartridge until you are ready to apply the sealant.

3. Apply the sealant using consistent,

positive pressure to force sealant into the joint, creating a bead approximately 3/8 inch (0.37 mm) in diameter.

4. Tool the sealant to create a concave joint

shape to shed water and ensure maximum adhesion and coverage. Dry tooling is recommended. DO NOT use soapy water or other liquids when tooling.

5. Sealant may be applied below freezing

temperatures.

6. Do not apply to surfaces that bleed oils or

solvents.

7. This product is not paintable.

Standards:

This product conforms with the following requirements and standards: ASTM C-920, Type S, Grade NS, Class 25, Use NT, T, M, G, A, O: TT-2-00230C, Type II, Class A; TT-S-001543A, Class A; CAN-19.13-M87, AAMA 802.3 T ype I & II, AAMA 803.3 Type I, AAMA 805.2, AAMA 808.3 and California Air Resources Board 2003 requirements for Volatile Organic Compound content.

Note:

• Duro-Caulk Plus will skin over within 20

minutes of application. The time may vary depending on humidity and temperature at the time of application.

• Duro-Caulk Plus is available in 10.1 oz.

• It has a shelf life of one year. The

expiration date is indicated on the tube. Example: If the code reads “1348 07 187”, the first 4 digits ( 1348) represent the b atch number, the second set of digits represent the year (07) and the last set of n umbers (187) represents the day of the year (day 187 of 365).
