IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of re, electrical shock, burns,and injury to persons including the following:
1.READ ALL INSTRUCTION BEFORE USING THE HEATER.
2.Remove the unit from its packaging and check to make sure it is in good condition before using.
3.Do not let children play with parts of the packing (such as plastic bags).
4.Check the household voltage to ensure it matches the heater’s rated specication.
5.Check the power cord and plug carefully before use to make sure that they are not damaged.
6.Before unplugging the power cord, be sure to turn off the power. When touching the unit be sure your hands are dry to prevent from electric shock.
7.This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. If provided, use handles when moving this heater. Do not use near or point the heater to furniture, curtains or other ammable objects, keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding , papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9m) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
8. Do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner to prevent a possible re. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where opening may become blocked.
9. Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
10.Always unplug heater when not in use.
11.Prevent water from getting into the housing of the heater during operation or in storage. Always store in dry area with no moisture.
12.A heater has hot arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not uses in places where there are gasolines, paint or other ammable liquids are used or stored.
13.This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas and similar indoor locations. Never locate the heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
14.Do not run the cord under carpeting, Do not cover card with throw rugs, runners,or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from trafc area and where it will not be tripped over.
15.Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause re, electric shock, or injury to persons and may void warranty.
16. Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/ receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/ power strip).
17.Do not use outdoors.
18.If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualied person in order to avoid a hazard.
19.To avoid hazard, do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Return heater to authorized service facility for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment,or repair.

20.The heater must not be located below a socket-outlet. In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.
21. This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas and similar indoor locations. Never locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water
container.
22. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
23. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
24. Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or re, or damage the heater.
25. WARNING: In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.
26. To connect to properly grounded outlets only. Disconnect heater, turn controls to off, then remove plug from outlet. See directions in Figure 1. This heater is for use on 120 volts. The cord has a plug as shown in gure 1. See Figure 1 for grounding instruction. An adapter as shown at C is available for connecting three-blade grounding type plugs to two-slot receptacles. The green grounding plug extending from the adapter must be connected to a permanent ground such as a properly grounded outlet box. The adapter should not be used if a three-slot grounded receptacle is available.

PRE-OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Carefully remove heater from box. (Please save box for off season storage).
2. Attach the handle using the screws provided.
3. Make sure the heater is switched OFF before plugging the heater into the outlet. Connect to properly grounded outlets only. NOTE: The power cord has a polarized plug (with one blade wider than the other) that will only t one way in a polarized outlet. If it does not insert easily try reversing the plug. If it still does not t contact your electrician to replace your outlet. DO NOT defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug.
4. Place heater only on a rm level surface, free from obstructions and at least 3 ft. away from any wall or other objects such as curtains, plants, etc.
5. Avoid overloading your circuit by not using other high wattage appliances in the same outlet.
OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Completely uncoil the cord and plug heater directly into a 110-120V grounded AC wall outlet. Be sure the plug ts tightly. A loose t will cause overheating and damage the plug. Plug and cord may feel warm during normal useage.
2. Choose your power setting: High, Low, Fan or OFF. Use the HIGH setting to warm the room quickly. After your comfort level has been achieved you may want to switch to the LOW setting to conserve electricity.
3. Thermostat: Turn to the highest setting until room is comfortable. Then slowly rotate the knob counter clockwise (left) until the heater cycles OFF. At this SET POINT the heater with cycle on and off to maintain this comfort level.

FAN ONLY OPERATION
Turn the control knob to the FAN setting and adjust fan speed. CAUTION: Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use is not recommended by the manufacturer may cause FIRE, ELECTRICAL SHOCK or injury to persons.
SAFETY PROTECTION SYSTEMS
• The safety pilot light marked POWER is illuminated when the control is turned to FAN,
HIGH or LOW.
• This heater is equipped with an AUTOMATIC OVERHEAT SAFETY DEVICE that will turn the heater OFF should the internal temperature of the heater exceed normal levels. To reset this device simply unplug the heater for 30 minutes, clear any obstructions, set the heater on a level surface, then follow the operating instructions in this manual.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
WARNING: Do not attempt to disassemble this product for any reason, as incorrect re-assembly could cause a risk of re or electric shock. Only qualied service personnel should perform any servicing. WARNING: Always unplug the product from the electrical outlet and allow it to cool before cleaning or storing it. NOTICE: This product is permanently lubricated at the factory before shipping and will not require further lubrication for the life of the product. Clean only the exterior surface by wiping with a soft, damp cloth, and allow the product to dry completely before storing or using. Dust can be removed from any vents using a small vacuum.
WARNING: Do not allow water or other liquids to enter the interior of the product. NOTICE: Do not use abrasive cleaners/pads to clean the product.
To store, wind and secure the power cord using a twist tie or rubber band, and then place the product in a cool, dry location.

1-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
e manufacturer warrants that your new electric heater is free from manufacturing and mate­rial defects for a period of one year from date of purchase, subject to the following conditions and limitations.
1. Install and operate this electric heater in accordance with the installation and operating instructions furnished with the product at all times. Any unauthorized repair, alteration, willful abuse, accident, or misuse of the product shall nullify this warranty.
