INSTALLING YOUR ELECTRIC FIREPLACE
Your new electric replace may be installed virtually anywhere in your home. However, when choosing a location be sure to follow the general instructions included. For best results install out of direct sunlight. Power supply service must be either completed or placed within the electric replace prior to nishing to avoid reconstruction.
WARNING: Keep drapery and other furnishings at least 3  / 91.4 cm from the front and sides of the electric replace.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Remove mounting bracket (A) from back of Fireplace (B) by removing the two screws at the top back of the unit (Fig.1).

2. Choose a wall location to attach the mounting bracket (A). Position the mounting bracket (A) in the desired location. Use a level to align the bracket and mark the four holes with a pencil (Fig. 2).
3. Drill 4 holes 3/8 in / 0.7cm in the wall. Insert the wall anchors (BB) into the holes using a hammer (Fig. 3).

5. Hang the replace (B) on the hooks at bottom of mounting bracket (A) and push the replace (B) into mounting bracket (A). Re-fasten the two screws removed in Step 1.(Fig. 5)
4. Attach the mounting bracket (A) to the wall fastening the 4 screws (AA) into the wall anchors (Fig. 4).

6. Remove the two retaining screws on top of the replace (B). Hang the front frame (C) on the replace and gently push on the lower part of the frame until it snaps into place. Secure the top frame hooks with the two retaining screws (Fig. 6 & 7).

Pressing the BACKLIGHT button will change the backlight between the 5 settings: blue, amber blue/amber, auto-cycling and OFF.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
e heater can be turned on or o by the remote control or touch control panel.
To set the thermostat use the HEATER button on the touch control panel to select the desired room temperature. e HEATER button on the remote will turn the heater on/o to the thermostat setting selected by the control panel.
If the heater is turned on and the thermostat measures room temperature below the thermostat setting the heater will run. Once the room temperature has reached the thermostat setting the heater will stop running. e thermostat will continue to cycle the heater on and o until the heater function is turned o using the control panel or remote.
e thermostat setting range is 62°F - 82°F or 17°C - 27°C or continually ON.
To change between °F and °C press and hold the HEATER button on the control panel for 3 seconds.
Pressing the timer button will cycle through the timer settings; 30 minutes, 1 Hour, 2H, 3H, 4H, 5H, 6H, 7H, 8H, 9H and o.
To cancel the timer once set press the TIMER button twice and the display will ash 0 to show the timer has been canceled.

Problem Root Cause Corrective Action
No power. No power to the unit.
Check that unit is plugged into a standard 120V outlet. Press power button several times, make sure power is set at “ON”position.
Power cord gets warm Normal operation
Check your heater cord and plug connections. Faulty wall outlet connections or loose plugs can cause the outlet or plug to overheat. Be sure the plug ts tight in the outlet. Heaters draw more current than small appliances, overheating of the outlet may occur even if it has not occurred with the use of other appliances. During use check frequently to determine if your plug outlet or faceplate is HOT! If so, discontinue use of the heater and have a qualied electrician check and/or replace the faulty outlet(s).
Heater does not blow warm air.
ermostat setting is preventing heater from turning on.
Adjust the temperature settings to ensure that the thermostat is set higher than the current room temperature.
Heater doesn’t work, but Power and Heater settings are “ON” and thermostat is set.
Manual reset overheat protection triggered.
Turn the POWER to “OFF” and unplug the unit from the wall outlet for 5 minutes. Aer 5 minutes plug the unit back into wall outlet, and operate as normal. If the problem presist contact customer service.
Flame eect works but heater function does not and the ame eect ashes when the heater
button is pressed.
e heater is disabled
With the power on press and hold the POWER button on the control panel for 10 second. Once re-enabled the ame eect will ash multiple times.
Remote Control is not working.
No batteries or poor signal
Change the remote batteries.
Operate remote transmitter at a slow measured pace. Press the remote control buttons with an even motion and gentle pressure. Repeatedly pressing buttons in rapid succession may cause the transmitter to malfunction.
e noise when the heater is on is louder than normal.
Dirty or obstructed air intakes.
Check the air intakes for obstructions or high dust build up.
Defective Blower/Heater Assembly
Contact Customer Service for a new Heater/Blower Assembly.
Abnormal noise when the heater is not on and the ame eect is on.
Defective Spinner Motor. Contact Customer Service for a new Spinner Motor.

• e motors used on the fan and the ame generator assembly are pre-lubricated for extended bearing life and require no further lubrication. However, we recommend periodic cleaning/vacuuming of the fan/heater.
• Make sure the unit is turned OFF and unplugged before cleaning the heater or replace.
