The chair should be positioned at least 45 cm from the walls.
The exclusive motorised mechanism is very powerful and if the 45 cm clearance is not respected between the chair and the walls, this can damage the electric chair, as well as the walls. The warranty will be void in this case. Enjoy, sit down, relax, or stand up… all these movements are now possible thanks to SVEG chair.
1. PRECAUTIONS
1.1 Particular precautions
Do not lift the feet off the floor when the chair is rising. By familiarising himself/herself with the chair, the user will find the ideal elevation to stand up from the chair in the most comfortable way.
Do not use this chair if children or animals are next to the moving parts. This chair motor is powerful and could harm them.
Do not drop some water or other objects on the manual control or on any other electrical component of the chair.
1.2 Maintenance
The mechanical components should always be clean.
Cleaning the upholstery
- The headrest and armrest protections are machine washable at 30°C maximum or hand washable with washing liquid.
- The whole fixed padding of the chair can be dry washed with soap in spray Dry with a dry cloth.
2. ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
- Before fixing the backrest to the seat, you should plug the chair to a power outlet. The electrical cord is in the side chair pocket.
- Once the seat is plugged to the power outlet, take the manual control, which is also in the side pocket. This control will remain on the chair side. Now, you just have to plug, if it is not done yet, the electrical cord to the manual control.
- On the manual control, hold down the “down” button until the seat is totally tilted. The footrest should now be in “high” position and the seat should also be slightly tilted backwards so that both mounting brackets of the backrest totally protrude from the seat.
- The metal brackets fixed to the backrest are in the back of the chair. There are two brackets in which the backrest should be slided.
