❐ Dieser Artikel ist ein Dekorationsartikel. Er ist für die Bestü-
ckung von Nadelbaumzweigen bestimmt. Er ist kein Spielzeug! Halten Sie den Artikel von Kindern und Tieren fern!
❐ Das Produkt ist für den Privatgebrauch bestimmt. Nutzen
Sie das Produkt nur wie in der Anleitung beschrieben.
Jede weitere Verwendung gilt als bestimmungswidrig.

Sie haben einen Artikel mit Hochleistungsleuchtdioden gekauft. Die durchschnittliche Leuchtdauer variiert bei Verwendung der mitgelieferten Batterien je nach eingestellter
Leuchtfunktion (durchgehend leuchten oder fl ackern) zwi-
schen ca. 150 und max. 170 Stunden.

Sicherheitshinweise
Verletzungsgefahren
❐ Es besteht Erstickungsgefahr! Halten Sie das Verpa-
ckungsmaterial von Kindern und Tieren fern.
❐ Batterien können beim Verschlucken lebensgefährlich
sein! Bewahren Sie deshalb Batterien und Artikel für Kinder
unerreichbar auf. Wurde eine Batterie verschluckt, muss
sofort medizinische Hilfe in Anspruch genommen werden.
❐ Sollte eine Batterie ausgelaufen sein, vermeiden Sie den
Kontakt von Haut, Augen und Schleimhäuten mit der Batteriesäure. Bei Kontakt mit Batteriesäure spülen Sie die
betroffenen Stellen sofort mit reichlich klarem Wasser
und suchen Sie umgehend einen Arzt auf.
Der richtige Umgang mit Batterien
❐ Prüfen Sie vor dem Einlegen der Batterien, ob die Kon-
takte der Kerzen, der Fernbedienung und der Batterien
sauber sind. Reinigen Sie sie bei Bedarf.
❐ Verwenden Sie nur den in den technischen Daten ange-
gebenen Batterietyp.
❐ Ersetzen Sie immer alle Batterien. Benutzen Sie keine
verschiedenen Batterie-Typen, -Marken oder Batterien
mit unterschiedlicher Kapazität. Achten Sie beim Batterietausch auf die Polarität (+ / –) (siehe auch die Prägung
auf den Kerzen).
❐ Nehmen Sie die Batterien aus den Kerzen und der Fern-
bedienung heraus, wenn diese verbraucht sind oder Sie
den Artikel länger nicht benutzen. So vermeiden Sie
Schäden, die durch Auslaufen entstehen können.

❐ Nehmen Sie eine ausgelaufene Batterie sofort aus dem
Artikel. Reinigen Sie die Kontakte, bevor Sie eine neue
Batterie einlegen.
❐ Die Batterien dürfen nicht geladen oder mit anderen Mit-
teln reaktiviert, nicht auseinander genommen, ins Feuer
geworfen, in Flüssigkeiten getaucht oder kurzgeschlossen werden.
Der richtige Umgang mit dem Artikel
❐ Verwenden Sie den Artikel nur in geschlossenen Räumen.
❐ Setzen Sie den Artikel keinen extremen Temperaturen,
starken Temperaturschwankungen, direkter Sonneneinstrahlung oder Feuchtigkeit aus.
❐ Halten Sie ausreichend Abstand zu Wärmequellen wie
z. B. Herdplatten, Öfen oder Kaminen.
❐ Lassen Sie den Artikel nicht fallen und setzen Sie ihn kei-
nen starken Stößen aus.
❐ Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Artikel nicht nass oder ins
Wasser fallen kann.
❐ Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen des Artikels keine ätzen-
den oder scheuernden Reinigungsmittel. Stauben Sie
den Artikel mit einem weichen, trockenen Tuch ab. Stärkere Verschmutzungen können mit einem leicht feuchten
Tuch abgewischt werden.
❐ Bewahren Sie den Artikel in der Originalverpackung au-
ßer Reichweite von Kindern und Tieren an einem trockenen, sauberen, vor direkter Sonneneinstrahlung geschützten Ort auf.
❐ Sollte der Artikel defekt sein, versuchen Sie nicht, den
Artikel eigenständig zu reparieren. Kontaktieren Sie in
Schadensfällen den Kundenservice.

❐ Verwenden Sie zum Ein- und Ausschalten der Kerzen
ausschließlich eine vom Hersteller empfohlene Fernbedienung.
Vor dem ersten Gebrauch
1. Packen Sie den Artikel und das Zubehör aus. Prüfen Sie
den Inhalt anhand des Lieferumfangs auf Vollständigkeit und mögliche Transportschäden. Sollten Sie einen
Transportschaden feststellen, verwenden Sie den Artikel nicht (!), sondern wenden Sie sich umgehend an den
Kundenservice.Heben Sie die Verpackung auf, um den
Artikel bei Nichtgebrauch darin aufzubewahren.
2. Legen Sie die Batterien in die Kerzen ein (siehe Kapitel
„Batterien einsetzen / wechseln“, Abschnitt „Kerzen“).
3. Legen Sie die übrigen zwei Batterien in die Fernbedienung ein (siehe Kapitel „Batterien einsetzen / wechseln“,
Abschnitt „Fernbedienung“).
4. Klemmen Sie die Clips nach Wunsch an die Zweige Ihres
Weihnachtsbaums.
Batterien einsetzen / wechseln
Kerzen
1. Öffnen Sie die Kerzen, indem Sie sie ca. eine Vierteldrehung gegen den Uhrzeigersinn drehen und von den Clips
abnehmen.
2. Entnehmen Sie ggf. die alten Batterien und setzen Sie
jeweils eine neue 1,5 V-Batterie, Typ AAA mit dem Pluspol voran in die Kerzen ein (siehe auch die Prägung auf
den Kerzen).
3. Setzen Sie die Kerzen wieder auf die Clips und drehen
Sie sie ca. eine Vierteldrehung im Uhrzeigersinn fest.

Fernbedienung
1. Öffnen Sie den Batteriefachdeckel auf der Rückseite der
Fernbedienung, indem Sie den Deckel in Pfeilrichtung
schieben.
2. Entnehmen Sie ggf. die alten Batterien und setzen Sie
zwei neue 1,5 V-Batterien, Typ AAA in die Fernbedienung
ein. Beachten Sie die Polarität (+ / –).
3. Setzen Sie den Deckel auf das Batteriefach und schieben
Sie ihn zu, bis er einrastet.
Bedienung
• Mit der ON-Taste schalten Sie die Kerzen ein.
Dabei haben Sie zwei Möglichkeiten:
– Wenn Sie nur kurz auf die ON-Taste drücken, leuchten
die Kerzen konstant.
– Wenn Sie die ON-Taste ca. 3 Sekunden gedrückt
halten, leuchten die Kerzen im Flackermodus.
Sie können jederzeit zwischen Dauerlicht und Flackermodus hin- und herschalten.
• Mit den + / - Tasten können Sie bei Dauerlicht zusätzlich
die Helligkeit erhöhen oder verringern.
• Mit der OFF-Taste schalten Sie die Kerzen aus.
Beachten Sie:
• Lassen sich einzelne Kerzen nicht ein-, um- oder ausschalten, überprüfen Sie die Ausrichtung der Kerzen und
der Fernbedienung: Für einen einwandfreien Betrieb ist
es wichtig, dass zwischen allen Kerzen und der Fernbedienung ‚Sichtkontakt‘ besteht. Arrangieren Sie die Kerzen
gegebenenfalls im Baum um und / oder wählen Sie einen
anderen Standort, von dem aus Sie die Kerzen mit der
Fernbedienung ansteuern. Beachten Sie dabei die Reich-

weite der Fernbedienung. Diese beträgt ca. 5 m. Drücken
Sie dann erneut die ON- bzw. OFF-Taste. Beachten Sie die
unterschiedliche Dauer, mit der Sie die ON-Taste, je nach
gewünschtem Leuchtmodus, drücken müssen (siehe oben).
• Sollten sich einzelne Kerzen immer noch nicht einschalten lassen, überprüfen Sie den Sitz der Kerzen auf den
Clips: Die Kerzen dürfen nicht zu fest auf die Clips geschraubt sein. Drehen Sie die Kerzen ca. eine Vierteldrehung gegen den Uhrzeigersinn und versuchen Sie
erneut die Kerzen einzuschalten.
• Sollten Sie zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt weitere Kerzen / Kerzensets hinzukaufen, können alle Kerzen mit
einer Fernbedienung angesteuert werden.
Problembehebung
Sollten (einzelne) Kerzen nicht auf die Fernbedienung reagieren, überprüfen Sie bitte Folgendes:
• Sind Batterien in Kerzen und Fernbedienung eingelegt?
• Sind die Batterien zu schwach oder falsch eingelegt?
• Befi nden sich die Kerzen in Reichweite der Fernbe-
dienung? Gibt es zwischen den Kerzen und der Fernbedienung ‚Sichtkontakt‘? Für einen einwandfreien Betrieb ist es wichtig, dass zwischen allen Kerzen und der
Fernbedienung ‚Sichtkontakt‘ besteht. Arrangieren Sie
die Kerzen ggf. im Baum um und / oder wählen Sie einen anderen Standort, von dem aus Sie die Kerzen mit
der Fernbedienung ansteuern. Beachten Sie dabei die
Reichweite der Fernbedienung. Diese beträgt ca. 5 m.
Drücken Sie dann erneut die ON- bzw. OFF-Taste, je
nachdem, ob Sie die Kerzen ein-, um- oder ausschalten
wollen. Beachten Sie die unterschiedliche Dauer, mit der
Sie die ON-Taste, je nach gewünschtem Leuchtmodus,
drücken müssen (siehe Kapitel „Bedienung“).

Entsorgung
Das Verpackungsmaterial ist wiederverwertbar.
Entsorgen Sie die Verpackung umweltgerecht und
führen Sie sie der Wertstoffsammlung zu.
Entsorgen Sie den Artikel umweltgerecht. Der Artikel gehört nicht in den Hausmüll. Entsorgen Sie ihn
an einem Recyclinghof für elektrische und elektronische Altgeräte. Nähere Informationen erhalten Sie
bei Ihrer örtlichen Gemeindeverwaltung.
Die Batterien sind vor der Entsorgung des Artikels zu
entnehmen und getrennt vom Artikel zu entsorgen. Im
Sinne des Umweltschutzes dürfen Batterien und Akkus
nicht über den normalen Hausmüll entsorgt werden,
sondern müssen an entsprechenden Sammelstellen
abgegeben werden. Beachten Sie die geltenden gesetzlichen Regelungen zur Batterieentsorgung.
Garantie der DS Produkte GmbH
Sie erhalten auf dieses Produkt 3 Jahre Garantie ab Kaufdatum. Im Falle von Mängeln dieses Produkts stehen Ihnen
gegen den Verkäufer des Produkts gesetzliche Rechte zu.
Diese gesetzlichen Rechte werden durch unsere im Folgenden dargestellte Garantie nicht eingeschränkt.
Garantiebedingungen
Die Garantiefrist beginnt mit dem Kaufdatum. Bitte bewahren
Sie den Original Kassenbon gut auf. Diese Unterlage wird als
Nachweis für den Kauf benötigt. Tritt innerhalb von drei Jahren ab dem Kaufdatum dieses Produkts ein Material- oder Fabrikationsfehler auf, wird das Produkt von uns – nach unserer
Wahl – für Sie kostenlos repariert oder ersetzt. Diese Garantieleistung setzt voraus, dass innerhalb der Drei-Jahres-Frist
das defekte Produkt und der Kaufbeleg (Kassenbon) vorgelegt und schriftlich kurz beschrieben wird, worin der Mangel

besteht und wann er aufgetreten ist. Wenn der Defekt von
unserer Garantie gedeckt ist, erhalten Sie das reparierte oder
ein neues Produkt zurück. Mit Reparatur oder Austausch des
Produkts beginnt kein neuer Garantiezeitraum.
Garantiezeit & gesetzliche Mängelansprüche
Die Garantiezeit wird durch die Gewährleistung nicht verlängert. Dies gilt auch für ersetzte und reparierte Teile. Eventuell
schon beim Kauf vorhandene Schäden und Mängel müssen
sofort nach dem Auspacken gemeldet werden. Nach Ablauf
der Garantiezeit anfallende Reparaturen sind kostenpfl ichtig.
Garantieumfang
Das Produkt wurde nach strengen Qualitätsrichtlinien sorgfältig
produziert und vor Anlieferung gewissenhaft geprüft. Die Garantieleistung gilt für Material- oder Fabrikationsfehler. Diese
Garantie erstreckt sich nicht auf Produktteile, die normaler Abnutzung ausgesetzt sind und daher als Verschleißteile angesehen werden können oder für Beschädigungen an zerbrechlichen Teilen, Schalter, Akkus oder die aus Glas gefertigt sind.
Diese Garantie verfällt, wenn das Produkt beschädigt, nicht
sachgemäß benutzt oder gewartet wurde. Für eine sachgemäße Benutzung des Produkts sind alle in der Bedienungsanleitung aufgeführten Anweisungen genau einzuhalten.
Verwendungszwecke und Handlungen, von denen in der Bedienungsanleitung abgeraten oder vor denen gewarnt wird,
sind unbedingt zu vermeiden. Das Produkt ist lediglich für
den privaten und nicht für den gewerblichen Gebrauch bestimmt. Bei missbräuchlicher und unsachgemäßer Behandlung, Gewaltanwendung und bei Eingriffen, die nicht von
unserer autorisierten Service-Niederlassung vorgenommen
wurden, erlischt die Garantie.

You have purchased an article with high-performance
light-emitting diodes. The average lighting time varies when
the supplied batteries are used, depending on the light function which is set (lit up constantly or fl ickering), between ap-
prox. 150 and max. 170 hours.

Safety Instructions
Dangers of Injury
❐ There is a danger of suffocation! Keep the packaging
material away from children and animals.
❐ Batteries can be deadly if swallowed. Therefore keep bat-
teries and the article out of the reach of children. If a battery is swallowed, seek medical assistance immediately.
❐ Should a battery have leaked, do not allow your skin,
eyes and mucous membranes to come into contact with
the battery acid. If you touch battery acid, rinse the affected sites with abundant fresh water immediately and
contact a doctor as soon as possible.
The Proper Handling of Batteries
❐ Before inserting the batteries, check whether the con-
tacts of the candles, the remote control and the batteries
are clean. Clean them if necessary.
❐ Use only the battery type specifi ed in the technical data.
❐ Always replace all the batteries at the same time. Do not
use batteries of different types or brands, or batteries with
different capacities. When replacing batteries, note the
correct polarity (+ / –) (see also the imprint on the candles).
❐ Take the batteries out of the candles and the remote con-
trol when they are discharged or if the article is not going
to be used for a prolonged period. This will prevent any
damage that might occur if a battery leaks.
❐ Remove a leaking battery from the article immediately.
Clean the contacts before you insert a new battery.
❐ The batteries must not be recharged or reactivated by
other means, dismantled, thrown into a fi re, immersed in
fl uids, or short-circuited.

The Proper Handling of the Article
❐ The article should only be used in closed rooms.
❐ Do not expose the article to extreme temperatures, strong
temperature fl uctuations, direct sunlight or moisture.
❐ Maintain a suffi cient distance from sources of heat such
as hobs, ovens or fi replaces.
❐ Do not drop the article or allow it to be knocked violently.
❐ Ensure that the article cannot become wet or fall into water.
❐ Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents to
clean the article. Dust the article with a soft, dry cloth. More
intense soiling can be wiped off with a slightly damp cloth.
❐ Keep the article in its original packaging out of the reach
of children and animals in a dry, clean place that is protected from direct sunlight.
❐ If the article is broken, do not attempt to repair it yourself.
In the event of any damage, contact our customer service department.
❐ Only use a manufacturer-recommended remote control
to switch the candles on and off.
Before Initial Use
1. Unpack the article and accessories. Check the contents
against the items supplied to ensure they are complete and have not suffered any transport damage. If you
should fi nd transport damage, do not use the article(!),
but contact the customer service department immediately. Keep the packaging so that you can store the article in
it when you are not using it.
2. Insert the batteries which are supplied into the candles
(see the “Inserting / Changing Batteries” chapter, “Candles” section).

3. Place the other two batteries into the remote control (see
the “Inserting / Changing Batteries” chapter, “Remote
Control” section).
4. Attach the clips to the branches of your Christmas tree
as you wish.
Inserting / Changing Batteries
Candles
1. Release the candles by making a quarter turn counter
clockwise and removing them from the clips.
2. Remove the old batteries if necessary and insert a new
1.5 V battery, AAA type with the positive pole fi rst into
each of the candles (see also the imprint on the candles).
3. Replace the candles on the clips and make a quarter turn
clockwise.
Remote Control
1. Open the battery compartment lid on the back of the remote control. For this purpose you push the cover in the
direction of the arrow.
2. Remove the old batteries if necessary and insert two
new 1.5 V batteries, AAA type into the remote control.
Pay attention to the correct polarity (+/–).
3. Place the lid onto the battery compartment and push it
until it clicks into place.
Operation
• The ON button is used to switch on the candles.
You have two options here:
– If you press the ON button for just a short time, the
candles light up constantly.
– If you keep the ON button pressed for around 3
seconds, the candles light up in fl icker mode.

You can switch back and forth between constant light
and fl icker mode at any time.
• With constant light you can increase or reduce the brightness by means of the + / - buttons.
• The OFF button is used to switch off the candles.
Please note:
• If individual candles cannot be switched on, switched
over or switched off directly, check the alignment of the
candles and the remote control: To ensure perfect operation, it is important that there is ‘visual contact’ between
all candles and the remote control. If necessary, you
should therefore rearrange the candles in the tree and / or
choose a different location from which you can control the
candles with the remote control. Be aware of the range of
the remote control. This is around 5 m. Then press the ON
or OFF button again. Note the different length of time for
which you need to press the ON button, depending on
what lighting mode you want (see above).
• If individual candles still cannot be switched on, check
the fi t of the candles on the clips: The candles must not
be screwed too tightly onto the clips. Turn the candles
roughly a quarter turn anticlockwise and then try to
switch the candles on again.
• If you subsequently buy more candles / sets of candles, all
candles can be controlled using just one remote control.
Troubleshooting
If (individual) candles do not respond to the remote control,
please check the following:
• Are batteries inserted into the candles and the remote
control?

• Are the batteries too weak or incorrectly inserted?
• Are the candles within the range of the remote control? / Is
there ‘visual contact’ between the candles and the remote
control? To ensure perfect operation, it is important that
there is ‘visual contact’ between all candles and the remote control. If necessary, you should rearrange the candles
in the tree and / or choose a different location from which
you can control the candles with the remote control. Be
aware of the range of the remote control. This is around
5 m. Then press the ON or OFF button again, depending
on whether you want to switch on, switch over or switch off
the candles. Note the different length of time for which you
need to press the ON button, depending on what lighting
mode you want (see the “Operation” chapter).
Disposal
The packaging material is recyclable. Please dispose of it in an environmentally friendly manner and
take it to a recycling centre.
Dispose of the article in an environmentally friendly manner. The article should not be disposed of in
the normal domestic waste. Please dispose of it at
a recycling centre for used electrical and electronic
devices. You can obtain more information from your
local authorities.
The batteries should be removed prior to disposal of
the article and disposed of separately from the article. To protect the environment, non-rechargeable
and rechargeable batteries may not be disposed of

You receive a 3-year warranty on this product from the date of
purchase. If there are any defects with this product, you enjoy
statutory rights against the vendor of the product. These statutory rights are not restricted by our warranty outlined below.
Warranty Terms and Conditions
The warranty period begins on the purchase date. Please
keep the original receipt in a safe place. This documentation
is required as proof of purchase. If a material or manufacturing
defect occurs within three years of the date of purchase of
this product, the product shall be repaired or replaced by us
– at our choice – at no cost to you. This warranty is provided
subject to the assumption that the defective product and the
purchase receipt (till receipt) are presented within the threeyear period and a brief description is provided in writing outlining what the defect is and when it occurred. If the defect is
covered by our warranty, the repaired product or a new product shall be returned to you. A new warranty period shall not
commence when the product is repaired or replaced.
Warranty Period & Statutory Claims for Defects
The warranty period is not extended by the guarantee. This
also applies to replaced and repaired parts. Any damage
and defects which may exist at the time of purchase must be
reported immediately after unpacking the product. Repairs
which are needed after the warranty period has expired are

Scope of Warranty

This warranty is cancelled if the product has been damaged,

at all costs. The product is intended for personal use only
and is not intended for commercial applications. The warranty shall lapse in the event of any improper and inappropriate
handling, use of force and in the case of interventions which

l’article et les piles hors de portée des enfants. En cas
d’ingestion d’une pile, faites immédiatement appel aux
secours médicaux.
❐ Si une pile fuit, évitez tout contact de la peau, des yeux
ou des muqueuses avec l’électrolyte. En cas de contact
avec l’électrolyte, rincez immédiatement et abondamment à l’eau claire les zones touchées, puis consultez un
médecin sans attendre.
Manipulation appropriée des piles
❐ Avant d’insérer les piles, vérifi ez que les contacts des
bougies, de la télécommande et des piles sont propres.
Nettoyez si nécessaire.
❐ Utilisez uniquement le type de pile indiqué dans les ca-
ractéristiques techniques.
❐ Remplacez toujours toutes les piles en même temps. N’uti-
lisez pas de piles de type, de marque ou de capacité différents. Lors du remplacement des piles, veillez à respecter
la polarité (+ / –) (voir également la marque sur les bougies).
❐ Retirez les piles des bougies et de la télécommande si
elles sont usées ou si vous n’utilisez pas l’article. Vous
éviterez ainsi les dommages dus à d’éventuelles fuites.
❐ Retirez immédiatement de l’article une pile qui fuit. Net-
toyez les contacts avant de mettre en place une pile neuve.

❐ Les piles ne doivent pas être chargées ou réactivées par
d’autres moyens, démontées, jetées au feu, plongées
dans des liquides ou court-circuitées.
Manipulation appropriée de l’article
❐ Utilisez cet article exclusivement à l’intérieur.
❐ Ne soumettez pas l’article à des températures extrêmes ni
à des variations de température trop importantes, ne l’exposez pas non plus aux rayons directs du soleil ni à l’humidité.
❐ Assurez-vous de garder une distance suffi sante de toute

tée des enfants et des animaux, dans un lieu sec à l’abri
du rayonnement direct du soleil.
Avant la première utilisation
1. Déballez l’article et ses accessoires. Vérifi ez au moyen de
la liste que le contenu livré est complet. Contrôlez l’absence
de dégâts de transport. En cas de dommages subis au
cours du transport, n’utilisez pas l’article (!), mais contactez

immédiatement le service après-vente. Conservez l’emballage pour ranger l’article lorsqu’il n’est plus utilisé.
2. Insérez les piles fournies dans les bougies (voir paragraphe « Insertion/remplacement des piles », section
« Bougies »).
3. Insérez les deux piles restantes dans la télécommande
(voir paragraphe « Insertion/remplacement des piles »,
section « Télécommande »).
4. Placez les pinces selon vos préférences sur les branches
de votre sapin de Noël.
Insertion/remplacement des piles
Bougies
1. Ouvrez les bougies en exécutant env. un quart de tour
dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d‘une montre et dégagez-les des clips.
2. Retirez les anciennes piles et insérez dans les bougies
une nouvelle pile de 1,5 V, type AAA, avec le pôle plus à
l’avant (voir également la marque sur les bougies).
3. Remettez les bougies sur les clips et serrez-les en exécutant env. un quart de tour dans le sens des aiguilles
d‘une montre.
Télécommande
1. Ouvrez le compartiment à piles se trouvant à l’arrière de la
télécommande. À cet effet, poussez le couvercle dans le
sens de la fl èche.
2. Retirez le cas échéant les piles usagées et insérez deux
piles neuves de 1,5 V, type AAA, dans la télécommande.
Respectez la bonne polarité (+/–) !
3. Replacez le couvercle sur le compartiment à pile et poussez-le jusqu‘à ce qu‘il s‘encliquette.

Utilisation
• La touche ON permet d’allumer les bougies.
Vous avez deux possibilités :
– Si vous appuyez brièvement sur la touche ON, les
bougies sont allumées en continu.
– Si vous maintenez la touche ON enfoncée pendant
env. 3 secondes, les bougies s’allument en mode
clignotant.
Vous pouvez à tout moment passer de l’allumage en
continu au mode clignotant et inversement.
• À l‘aide des touches + / -, en mode d‘éclairage continu,
vous pouvez aussi augmenter ou réduire la luminosité.
• La touche OFF permet d’éteindre les bougies.
Veuillez noter :
• Si les bougies ne s’allument/clignotent/s’éteignent pas,
vérifi ez la direction des bougies et de la télécommande :
pour un bon fonctionnement, il est important qu’il y ait un
« contact visuel » entre toutes les bougies et la télécommande. Le cas échéant, modifi ez la position des bougies
dans l’arbre et/ou choisissez un autre emplacement à partir
duquel vous actionnez la télécommande pour contrôler les
bougies. Tenez également compte de la portée de la télécommande. Celle-ci est d’env. 5 m. Appuyez ensuite sur
la touche ON ou OFF. Respectez les différentes durées
durant lesquelles vous devez appuyer sur la touche ON en
fonction du mode d’éclairage souhaité (voir plus haut).
• Si les bougies ne s’allument toujours pas, vérifi ez la te-
nue des bougies sur les pinces : les bougies ne doivent
pas être vissées trop fort sur les pinces. Tournez les bougies d’env. un quart de tour dans le sens antihoraire et
essayez à nouveau d’allumer les bougies.

• Si vous achetez d’autres bougies/sets de bougies ultérieurement, toutes les bougies peuvent être contrôlées
avec une seule télécommande.
Résolution des problèmes
Si certaines bougies ne devaient pas réagir à la télécommande, vérifi ez ce qui suit :
• Les bougies et la télécommande sont-elles munies de
piles ?
• Les piles sont-elles trop faibles ou mal insérées ?
• Les bougies se trouvent-elles à portée de la télécommande ? / Y a-t-il un contact visuel entre les bougies et la
télécommande ? Pour un bon fonctionnement, il est important qu’il y ait un « contact visuel » entre toutes les bougies
et la télécommande. Le cas échéant, modifi ez la position
des bougies dans l’arbre et/ou choisissez un autre emplacement à partir duquel vous actionnez la télécommande
pour contrôler les bougies. Tenez également compte de
la portée de la télécommande. Celle-ci est d’env. 5 m. Appuyez ensuite à nouveau sur la touche ON ou OFF, selon
que vous souhaitiez allumer/éteindre/faire clignoter les bougies. Respectez les différentes durées durant lesquelles
vous devez appuyer sur la touche ON en fonction du mode
d’éclairage souhaité (voir paragraphe « Utilisation »).
Mise au rebut
Les matériaux d’emballage sont recyclables. Éliminez
l’emballage dans le respect de l’environnement en le
déposant à un point de collecte prévu à cet effet.
Éliminez cet article conformément aux prescriptions
pour la protection de l’environnement. Ne le jetez
pas avec les ordures ménagères. Remettez-le à
une station de collecte et de recyclage d’appareils

électriques et électroniques usagés. Pour de plus
amples renseignements à ce sujet, adressez-vous
aux services municipaux compétents.
Avant la mise au rebut de l’article, les piles doivent être
retirées et recyclées séparément. Au sens de la protection de l’environnement, les piles et les batteries ne

Garantie de DS Produkte GmbH
Pour ce produit, vous bénéfi ciez de 3 années de garantie
à partir de la date d’achat. En cas de défaut de ce produit,
vous pouvez faire valoir des droits à l’encontre du vendeur
de ce produit. Ces droits légaux ne sont pas limités par la
garantie présentée ci-après.
Conditions de garantie
La durée de garantie commence à la date d’achat. Veillez
à bien conserver le ticket de caisse. Ce document est nécessaire pour prouver l’achat. Si un défaut du matériau ou
de fabrication se déclare dans les trois ans suivant la date
d’achat de ce produit, le produit sera réparé ou remplacé
gratuitement par nos soins, selon notre choix. Cette prestation de garantie nécessite la soumission de la preuve d’achat
(ticket de caisse) et la description brève et par écrit du produit défectueux (nature du défaut et date de déclaration) au
sein de la période de trois ans. Si le défaut est couvert par
la garantie, vous recevrez en retour le produit réparé ou un
nouveau produit. La durée de la garantie n’est pas prolongée
lors de la réparation ou du remplacement du produit.

Durée de la garantie et droit de réclamation en cas de
défaut
En cas de recours au titre de la garantie, la durée de celle-ci
n’est pas prolongée. Cela s’applique également aux pièces
remplacées ou réparées. Les dommages et défauts éventuellement déjà présents à l’achat doivent être déclarés immédiatement après le déballage. Une fois la durée de garantie
écoulée, les réparations éventuelles sont payantes.
Portée de la garantie
Le produit a été fabriqué soigneusement et conformément
à de strictes normes de qualité, de plus, il a fait l’objet d’un
contrôle consciencieux avant sa livraison. La prestation de
garantie s’applique aux défauts de matériau ou de fabrication. Cette garantie ne s’applique pas à des pièces du produit qui sont soumises à une usure normale et qui peuvent
donc être considérées comme des pièces d’usure, ni à des
endommagements des pièces fragiles, des interrupteurs,
des batteries, ni à des pièces en verre.
La garantie est réputée caduque si le produit est endommagé, s’il n’a pas été utilisé conformément ou s’il n’a pas été
entretenu. Pour assurer une utilisation conforme du produit,
il faut bien respecter toutes les instructions fi gurant au mode
d’emploi. Il faut impérativement éviter les utilisations et actions déconseillées dans le mode d’emploi ou celles faisant
l’objet d’une mise en garde. Le produit est uniquement destiné à un usage privé et non professionnel. La garantie est
annulée en cas de manipulation et utilisation forcée qui sont
abusives et incorrectes, et en cas d’interventions qui n’ont

❐ Le batterie possono essere letali in caso di ingestione!
Conservare pertanto le batterie e l'articolo fuori dalla portata dei bambini. In caso di ingestione di una batteria, richiedere immediatamente l'intervento di un medico.
❐ qualora dalla batteria fuoriuscisse dell'acido, evitare il
contatto tra quest'ultimo e la pelle, gli occhi e le mucose.
In caso di contatto con l'acido delle batterie, lavare immediatamente i punti interessati con abbondante acqua
corrente e consultare subito un medico.
Uso corretto delle batterie
❐ Prima di inserire le batterie, verifi care che i contatti delle
candele, del telecomando e delle batterie siano puliti. Pulirle, se necessario.
❐ Utilizzare solo batterie del tipo indicato nei dati tecnici.
❐ Sostituire sempre tutte le batterie. Non utilizzare batterie
di tipo o marca differenti o batterie con capacità differenti..
Cambiando le batterie, fare attenzione alla polarità (+ / –)
(vede anche il simbolo inciso sulle candele).
❐ Estrarre le batterie dalle candele e dal telecomando
quando esse sono esaurite, oppure qualora l'articolo non
venisse utilizzato per lungo tempo. In questo modo si eviteranno i danni causati dalla fuoriuscita di acido.
❐ Estrarre subito la batteria esaurita dall'articolo. Pulire i
contatti prima di inserire una nuova batteria.

❐ Le batterie non devono essere caricate o riattivate con al-
tri mezzi, smontate, gettate nel fuoco, immerse nei liquidi
o cortocircuitate.
Uso corretto dell'articolo
❐ Utilizzare l'articolo solo in ambienti chiusi.
❐ Non esporre l'articolo a temperature estreme, a forti oscil-

Prima di usare l'articolo per la prima volta
1. Estrarre l'articolo e gli accessori dalla confezione. Verifi -
care il contenuto della confezione per accertarsi che non
manchi nulla e che non si siano verifi cati danni durante
il trasporto. Qualora si osservassero danni dovuti al trasporto, NON utilizzare l'articolo, bensì rivolgersi immedia-

tamente al Servizio Clienti. Rimuovere l'imballaggio, per
conservarvi l'articolo quando esso non verrà utilizzato.
2. Inserire le batterie fornite nelle candele (vedere capitolo
"Inserimento / sostituzione delle batterie", sezione "Candele").
3. Inserire le altre due batterie nel telecomando (vedere capitolo "Inserimento / sostituzione delle batterie", sezione
"Telecomando").
4. Agganciare le clip ai rami dell'albero di Natale nei punti
desiderati.
Inserimento / sostituzione delle batterie
Candele
1. Aprire le candele ruotandole di un quarto di giro in senso
antiorario, e rimuoverle dalle clip.
2. Rimuovere le vecchie batterie e inserire in ogni candela
una nuova batteria da 1,5 V, tipo AAA, con il polo positivo
in avanti (osservare anche il simbolo inciso sulle candele).
3. Riporre le candele nelle clip e ruotarle per un quarto di
giro circa in senso orario.
Telecomando
1. Aprire il vano portabatterie posto sul lato posteriore del telecomando, spingendo verso il coperchio nella direzione
indicata dalla freccia..
2. Rimuovere le vecchie batterie e inserire nel telecomando
due nuove batterie da 1,5 V, tipo AAA. Rispettare la polarità (+ / –).
3. Porre il coperchio sul vano portabatterie e spingerlo fi n-
ché si sente un clic.

Utilizzo
• Accendere le candele premendo con il tasto ON.
in questo senso vi sono due possibilità:
– Qualora si premesse brevemente sul tasto ON, le
candele rimarranno accese in modo fi sso.
– Qualora il tasto ON fosse mantenuto premuto per
circa tre secondi , le candele s'illuminano in modalità
tremolante.
È possibile passare in ogni momento da luce fi ssa a mo-
dalità tremolante e viceversa.
• Operando sui tasti + / - è possibile accrescere o ridurre la
luminosità della luce fi ssa.
• Spegnere le candele premendo il tasto OFF.
Attenzione:
• Qualora non fosse possibile accendere, commutare o
spegnere singole candele, controllare l'orientamento delle candele e del telecomando: per un corretto funzionamento è infatti importante che ci sia un "contatto visivo"

ON e OFF. Fare attenzione alla durata differente con la
quale l'utilizzatore deve premere il tasto ON a seconda
della modalità d'illuminazione desiderata (vedi sopra).
• Qualora non fosse ancora possibile accendere singole
candele, controllare il posizionamento delle stesse sulle
clip: le candele non devono essere avvitate troppo saldamente sulle clip. Ruotare le candele per circa un quarto

di giro in senso antiorario e tentare nuovamente di accenderle.
• Se in un secondo tempo si dovessero acquistare altre
candele o altri set di candele, tutte potranno essere comandate con un unico telecomando.
Risoluzione dei problemi
Qualora (singole) candele non dovessero reagire al telecomando, verifi care quanto segue:
• Le batterie sono inserite nelle candele e nel telecomando?
• Le batterie sono quasi esaurite o inserite in modo errato?
• Le candele si trovano entro la portata del telecomando?
Tra le candele e il telecomando c'è un "contatto visivo"?
Per un corretto funzionamento è importante che ci sia un
"contatto visivo" tra tutte le candele e il telecomando. Sistemare eventualmente le candele sull'albero e/o scegliere un'altra posizione dalla quale sia possibile comandare
le candele con il telecomando, tenendo conto della portata di quest'ultimo, che è di circa 5 m. In seguito, premere
nuovamente il tasto ON e OFF, a seconda che si voglia
accendere, commutare o spegnere le candele. Fare attenzione alla durata differente con la quale l'utilizzatore
deve premere il tasto ON a seconda della modalità d'illuminazione desiderata (vedere capitolo "Utilizzo").
Smaltimento
Il materiale della confezione è riciclabile. Smaltire la
confezione nel rispetto dell'ambiente e conferirla a
un centro di riciclaggio.
Smaltire l'articolo rispettando l'ambiente. L'articolo non è un normale rifi uto domestico. Smaltirlo in
un deposito di riciclaggio per apparecchi elettrici ed

elettronici usati. È possibile ricevere informazioni più
precise dalla locale amministrazione comunale.
Rimuovere le batterie prima dello smaltimento
dell'articolo e smaltirle separatamente da quest'ultimo. Per la protezione dell'ambiente, le batterie e gli
accumulatori non devono essere gettati nei normali
rifi uti domestici, ma devono essere consegnati agli
appositi punti di raccolta. Rispettare inoltre le normative in vigore in materia di smaltimento delle batterie.
Garanzia della DS Produkte GmbH
Con questo prodotto l'acquirente riceve 3 anni di garanzia a
partire dalla data d'acquisto. In caso di vizi di questo prodotto, nei confronti del venditore di questo prodotto l'acquirente gode di diritti stabiliti dalla legge. Questi diritti ai sensi di
legge non vengono limitati dalla nostra garanzia descritta di
seguito.
Condizioni di garanzia
Il termine di garanzia prende avvio con la data d'acquisto. Si
prega di conservare lo scontrino in buone condizioni. Questo
documento viene richieste quale prova dell'avvenuto acquisto. Qualora entro tre anni dalla data d'acquisto si manifestassero difetti di materiale o di fabbricazione, il prodotto, a
nostra scelta, viene riparato o sostituito. Questa prestazione
di garanzia presuppone che il prodotto difettoso e la prova

scaduto il periodo di garanzia, eventuali riparazioni dovranno
essere pagate.
Ambito della garanzia
Il prodotto e stato realizzato con cura e verifi cato con atten-
zione prima della fornitura, e ciò in osservanza di severe requisiti di qualità. La prestazione di garanzia viene attuata in
caso di vizio provocato da un vizio connesso al materiale o di
fabbricazione. Questa garanzia non si estende ai componenti
del prodotto che subiscono un normale processo di usura,

uporabi dobavljenih baterij je povprečno trajanje svetenja odvisno od nastavljenega načina svetenja (stalno svetenje ali
utripanje) in znaša od pribl. 150 do največ 170 ur.

Nevarnost poškodb
❐ Obstaja nevarnost zadušitve! Embalažni material hranite
izven dosega otrok in živali!
❐ Baterije so lahko v primeru zaužitja smrtno nevarne! Zato
baterije in izdelke shranjujte nedosegljivo otrokom. Pri zaužitju baterije, takoj poiščite zdravniško pomoč.
❐ Če baterija izteče, preprečite stik baterijske kisline s kožo,
z očmi in s sluznicami. Pri stiku baterijske kisline takoj
izpirajte prizadeta mesta z zadostno količino čiste vode in
nemudoma obiščite zdravnika.
Pravilno ravnanje z baterijami
❐ Pred vstavljanjem baterij preverite, če so stiki svečk, da-
ljinskega upravljalnika in baterij čisti. Po potrebi jih oči-
stite.
❐ Uporabite le tip baterij, ki je naveden v tehničnih podatkih.
❐ Vselej zamenjajte vse baterije. Ne uporabljajte baterij raz-
ličnih tipov, znamk ali baterij z različnimi kapacitetami. Pri
zamenjavi baterij pazite na polarnost (+ / –) (glej tudi odtis
na svečkah).
❐ Vzemite baterije iz svečk in daljinskega upravljalnika, če
so izpraznjene ali če izdelka dlje časa ne boste uporabljali. Tako boste preprečili škodo, ki bi lahko nastala zaradi
iztekanja baterij.
❐ Izteklo baterijo takoj vzemite iz izdelka. Preden vstavite
novo baterijo, očistite kontakte.
❐ Baterij ni dovoljeno polniti ali jih ponovno aktivirati z drugi-
mi sredstvi, razstavljati, metat v ogenj, potapljati v tekoči-
ne ali vzpostaviti kratek stik.

Pravilno ravnanje z izdelkom
❐ Izdelek uporabljajte le v zaprtih prostorih.
❐ Izdelek ne izpostavljajte skrajnim temperaturam, močnim
temperaturnim nihanjem, neposrednemu sončnemu sevanju ali vlagi.
❐ Pustite dovolj prostora med izdelkom in viri toplote, npr.
štedilniki, pečicami ali kamini.
❐ Izdelek ne sme pasti in ne izpostavljajte ga močnim udar-
cem.
❐ Prepričajte se, da izdelek ni moker in da ne more pasti v
vodo.
❐ Za čiščenje izdelka nikoli ne uporabljajte jedkih ali abra-
zivnih čistil. Prah z izdelka obrišite z mehko, suho krpo.
Močnejšo umazanijo lahko obrišete z rahlo vlažno krpo.
❐ Izdelek shranjujte v originalni embalaži izven dosega
otrok in živali na suhem, čistem in pred neposredno sonč-
no svetlobo zaščitenem mestu.
❐ Če je izdelek pokvarjen, ga ne poskušajte popravljati
sami. V škodnem primeru se obrnite na službo za stranke.
❐ Za vklop in izklop svečk uporabljajte izključno daljinski
upravljalnik, ki ga priporoča proizvajalec.
Pred prvo uporabo
1. Razpakirajte izdelek in pribor. Preverite popolnost vsebine na podlagi obsega dobave in morebitne poškodbe
med transportom. Če najdete poškodbo med transportom, izdelka ne (!) uporabite, temveč se nemudoma obrnite na službo za stranke. Shranite embalažo, da boste
izdelek v njej shranjevali, ko ga ne boste uporabljali.
2. Vstavite baterije v svečke (glej poglavje „Vstavljanje/zamenjava baterij“, razdelek „Svečke“).

3. Vstavite preostali dve bateriji v daljinski upravljalnik (glej
poglavje „Vstavljanje/zamenjava baterij“, razdelek „Daljinski upravljalnik“).
4. Po želji pripnite sponke na veje svojega božičnega drevesca.
Vstavljanje/zamenjava baterij
Svečke
1. Odprite svečke, tako da jih zavrtite v nasprotni smeri urinega kazalca za četrtino kroga in jih snemite s sponk.
2. Po potrebi odstranite stare baterije in v vsako svečko
vstavite novo 1,5 V baterijo tipa AAA s pozitivnim polom
spredaj (glej tudi odtis na svečkah).
3. Namestite svečke nazaj na sponke in jih privijte v smeri
urinega kazalca za približno četrtino kroga.
Daljinski upravljalnik
1. Odprite pokrovček predalčka za baterije na hrbtni strani
daljinskega upravljalnika, tako da pokrovček potisnete v
smeri puščice.
2. Po potrebi odstranite stare baterije in v daljinski upravljalnik vstavite dve novi 1,5 V bateriji tipa AAA. Upoštevajte
polarnost (+ / –).
3. S pokrovčkom pokrijte predalček za baterije ter ga potisnite, da se zapre in zaskoči.
Upravljanje
• S tipko ON svečke prižgete.
Pri tem imate dve možnosti:
– Če tipko ON pritisnete le na kratko, bodo svečke svetile
neprekinjeno.
– Če tipko ON držite pritisnjeno pribl. 3 sekunde, bodo
svečke svetile v načinu utripanja.

Med neprekinjenim in utripajočim delovanjem lahko preklapljate kadarkoli.
• S tipkama +/- lahko v primeru neprekinjenega svetenja
svetlost povečate ali zmanjšate.
• S tipko OFF svečke ugasnete.
Upoštevajte:
• Če posameznih svečk ne morete vključiti, preklopiti ali izključiti, preverite, kako so obrnjene in preverite daljinski
upravljalnik: za brezhibno delovanje je pomembno, da
med vsemi svečkami in daljinskim upravljalnikom obstaja
„vizualni stik“. Po potrebi razporedite svečke po drevescu
drugače in/ali izberite drugo mesto postavitve, s katerega
boste lahko upravljali s svečkami s pomočjo daljinskega upravljalnika. Pri tem upoštevajte doseg daljinskega
upravljalnika. Ta znaša pribl. 5 m. Nato ponovno pritisnite tipko ON ali OFF. Upoštevajte različno trajanje pritiska
tipke ON, da določite želeni način svetenja (glej zgoraj).
• Če se posamezne svečke še vedno ne prižgejo, preverite, kako so pritrjene na sponke: svečke na sponke ne
smejo biti privite premočno. Svečke zavrtite v nasprotni
smeri urinega kazalca za četrtino kroga in jih poskušajte
ponovno vklopiti.
• Če pozneje dokupite dodatne svečke/komplete svečk,
lahko z vsemi svečkami upravljate s pomočjo enega daljinskega upravljalnika.
Odpravljanje težav
Če se (posamezne) svečke ne odzivajo na daljinski upravljalnik, preverite:
• ali so baterije vstavljene v svečke in daljinski upravljalnik?
• Ali so baterije prešibke oziroma nepravilno vstavljene?

• Ali so svečke v dosegu daljinskega upravljalnika? Ali med
svečkami in daljinskim upravljalnikom obstaja „vizualni
stik“? za brezhibno delovanje je pomembno, da med vsemi svečkami in daljinskim upravljalnikom obstaja „vizualni
stik“. Po potrebi razporedite svečke po drevescu drugače
in/ali izberite drugo mesto postavitve, s katerega boste
lahko upravljali s svečkami s pomočjo daljinskega upravljalnika. Pri tem upoštevajte doseg daljinskega upravljalnika. Ta znaša pribl. 5 m. Nato ponovno pritisnite tipko ON
oz. OFF, odvisno od tega, ali želite svečke prižgati, preklopiti ali ugasniti. Upoštevajte različno trajanje pritiska
tipke ON, da določite želeni način svetenja (glej poglavje
„Upravljanje“).
Odstranjevanje
Embalaža je primerna za reciklažo. Embalažo odstranite okolju prijazno in jo odpeljite na zbirno mesto za odpadke.
Izdelek odstranite okolju prijazno. Izdelek ne spada
med gospodinjske odpadke. Odstranite ga na zbirnem mestu za odslužene električne in elektronske
naprave. Več informacij prejmete pri svoji lokalni občinski upravi.
Baterije je treba pred odstranjevanjem vzeti iz izdelka in jih odstraniti ločeno od njega. V smislu varovanja okolja polnilnih in navadnih baterij ni dovoljeno
odstranjevati z običajnimi gospodinjskimi odpadki,
temveč jih je treba oddati na ustreznih zbirnih mestih. Upoštevajte veljavne zakonske predpise za odstranjevanje baterij.

Garancija podjetja DS Produkte GmbH
Za ta izdelek velja 3-letna garancija od datuma nakupa. V
primeru pomanjkljivosti izdelka lahko pri prodajalcu izdelka
uveljavljate zakonske pravice. Teh zakonskih pravic v nadaljevanju navedena garancija ne omejuje.
Garancijski pogoji
Garancijski rok začne teči od datuma nakupa naprej. Prosimo, da dobro shranite originalen račun. Ta dokument je
potreben za dokazovanje nakupa. Če v treh letih od datuma nakupa tega izdelka pride do napake na materialu ali v
izdelavi, bomo izdelek – po naši izbiri – brezplačno popravili
ali zamenjali. Pogoj za izpolnitev te garancijske obveznosti
je, da v triletnem roku predložite okvarjeni izdelek in dokazilo
o nakupu (račun) ter na kratko pisno opišete pomanjkljivost
in kdaj je nastopila. Če naša garancija krije to okvaro, vam
bomo vrnili popravljen izdelek ali novega. V primeru popravila
ali zamenjave izdelka garancija ne začne teči ponovno.
Obdobje veljavnosti garancije in zakonske pravice v primeru pomanjkljivosti
Jamstvo obdobja veljavnosti garancije ne podaljša. To velja
tudi za zamenjane in popravljene dele. Morebitna škoda, ki
je prisotna že ob nakupu, in pomanjkljivosti je treba prijaviti
takoj po odstranitvi embalaže. Po poteku garancijskega obdobja veljavnosti garancije so popravila plačljiva.
Obseg garancije
Izdelek je bil skrbno proizveden po strogih smernicah za zagotavljanje kakovosti in je bil pred dobavo vestno preverjen.
Izpolnitev garancijske obveznosti velja za napake na materialu ali v izdelavi. Ta garancija ne pokriva delov izdelka, ki so
izpostavljeni običajni obrabi in jih je zato mogoče obravnavati
kot obrabne dele, ali poškodb lomljivih delov, stikal, baterij ali
delov, ki so izdelani iz stekla.

Ta garancija zapade, če je izdelek poškodovan, nestrokovno
uporabljen ali popravljen. Za namensko uporabo izdelka je
treba natančno upoštevati vsa navodila, navedena v navodilih za uporabo. Namenom uporabe in ravnanjem, ki jih v navodilih za uporabo odsvetujemo, ali pred katerimi svarimo, se
je treba obvezno izogibati. Izdelek je namenjen le za zasebno
in ne za komercialno uporabo. V primeru zlorabe in nestrokovnega obravnavanja, uporabe sile in posegov, ki jih ni izvedla naša pooblaščena servisna izpostava, garancija preneha.
Postopek v garancijskem primeru
Da zagotovimo hitro obdelavo vašega zahtevka, vas prosimo, da upoštevate v nadaljevanju naštete napotke:
• za vse poizvedbe kot dokazilo o nakupu shranite račun in
številko artikla.
• Številko artikla najdete na naslovnici svojih navodil (spodaj levo).
• Če pride do napak v delovanju ali drugih pomanjkljivosti,
najprej stopite v stik s spodaj navedenim oddelkom za
servisiranje po telefonu ali e-pošti.
• Izdelek, ki je zaveden kot okvarjen, lahko ob predložitvi
dokazila o nakupu (računa) ter navedbi pomanjkljivosti in
kdaj je nastopila, pošljete na naslov navedenega servisa
brez poštnine.
