Adjustable Skirt Bar
for multiple formats
For the ability to change from one viewing format to another (for instance, form NTSC 4:3 to HDTV 16:9), use Draper's Adjustable Skirt Bar:
Attach one end of skirt bar to either leg by placing the outer plate on
the outside of the leg/frame, and placing the handy crank and washer on the
inside. Run the handy crank through the gap between the leg and frame (gap
between leg and frame), then attach the other end to the other leg. The skirt
then attaches to snaps located along the skirt bar.
Figure 3
Please Note: If you have an older Valance Bar, the hole for the Drape Bar
ball-detent will be located too close to the edge of the Valance Bar. You
will need to drill a new hole. See instructions on page 2.
Caution: Beware of pinch points.
④ For adjustable skirt bar, see box at right. For standard skirt attachment:
The skirt attaches to snaps located along the bottom black border of the
viewing surface. (see Fig. 4)

If adjustable skirt bar is provided with a Middle Support, place in center
of bottom frame and use adjustment knob to set to the proper height (see
pictures below).
Please Note: Middle Support height should be set so the bottom of the
screen frame is supported, but is not pushed upward so that it bows
up in the center.
