FEATURES
• Thank you for purchasing your Dracast PLUS Series LED500. We’re
condent that your Dracast light will provide years of reliable service.
• Please review this instruction booklet before using your Dracast light.
• To ensure proper continued operation, only use the power supply that is
included with your Dracast LED500.
• To protect your eyes, do not look directly into the LED500 while it is
powered on.
• To prevent electric shock, the LED500, power supply, and any batteries
should be kept away from water or excessive moisture. Never submerge
the LED500 or power supply.
• Make sure that the ventilation slots on the back of the LED500 are clear
during operation. Covering these vents will cause the unit to overheat and
possibly malfunction.
• To extend the life of the LED500, turn the unit o when it is not in use.
• Store the LED500 in a clean, dry place with good ventilation. Do not store
the LED500 in direct sunlight for extended periods.
• In case of malfunction, do not open your Dracast LED500 unit. Please
consult your nearest Dracast repair center for assistance. Opening the
Dracast unit will void its one-year warranty.

Powering the light
The Dracast PLUS Series LED500 has three power options to choose from.
- A/C Power - Plug the power supply (included) into the XLR port on the back
of your LED500. Press the power switch to “ON”
- V-Mount Battery - Attach a V-Mount lithium-ion battery (not included) to the
V-Mount battery plate included with your LED500. Press the power switch to
“BATTERY”
- Gold Mount Battery - Attach a Gold-Mount lithium-ion battery (not included)
to the Gold-Mount battery plate included with your LED500. Press the power
switch to “BATTERY”
Understanding the Controls
Your Dracast PRO Series is equipped with full DMX 512 remote functionality.
The dimming and color controls (if available) can be controlled either via a
standard DMX controller or locally by using the control knobs
on the back of the xture.

The control panel has an LCD display and four buttons directly below it. These
four buttons perform the following actions.
SETUP - Cycles through each adjustable option. (Currently selected menu item
ashes.)
UP - Adjust the selected item up.
DOWN - Adjust the selected item down.
ENTER - Conrms the current selection.
