Section 1 Installation
Air-Cooled Units
Air-cooled units require a minimum of 8” (203mm) of clearance around the sides of the machine and 12” (305mm) around the back panel to allow for adequate air flow. Failure to allow adequate
clearance can reduce the refrigeration capacity of the machine and cause overheating.
Electrical Connections
This equipment is intended to be installed in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC), NFPA
70.
This equipment must be properly grounded! Failure to do so can result in severe
personal injury from electrical shock!
Beater rotation must be counter clockwise as viewed looking into the freezing cylinder.

Section 2 Note to the Operator
The Donper BH7480 soft serve machine, when properly operated and maintained, will produce a creamy, smooth quality product. Like all mechanical products, they will require regular cleaning and proper maintenance. A minimum amount of care and attention is necessary if the operating procedures outlined in this guide are followed closely.
This Users Guide should be read completely before operating or performing any maintenance on your machine.

Failure to adhere to the following safety precautions may result in severe personal injury or death. Failure to comply with these warnings may damage the machine and its components. Damaged components will be required replacement parts and service at the expense of the user.
Do not operate the soft serve machine without reading this Users Guide. Failure to follow this instruction may result in equipment damage, poor freezing performance, health hazards, or personal injury.
Do not operate the freezer unless it is properly grounded. Failure to follow this instruction may result in electrocution.
Do not attempt any repairs unless the main power supply to the soft serve machine has been disconnected. Failure to follow this instruction may result in electrocution.
Do not operate the soft serve machine with larger fuses than specified on your specification sheet. Failure to follow this instruction may result in electrocution or damage to the machine. Consult your electrician.
Do not allow untrained personnel to operate this machine. Failure to follow this instruction may result in severe personal injury to fingers or hands from moving parts.
Do not operate the machine while the stainless steel panels are removed from the unit. Loose garments and/or long hair can get caught in the moving parts resulting in serious personal injury.
Do not obstruct the air intake and discharge openings on all sides of the machine. Failure to follow this instruction may cause poor performance and damage to the machine.

Do not put objects or fingers in the dispenser door spout. Failure to follow this instruction may result in contaminated product or personal injury from moving parts.
Do not remove the dispenser door, the beater assembly, or the drive shaft unless all the
control switches are in the “OFF” position. Failure to follow this instruction may result in
severe personal injury from moving parts.
Use caution when removing the beater assembly. The scraper blades are very sharp and may cause injury.
