2.1 Allgemeine Sicherheit

Wenn das Kühlgerät sichtbare Beschädigungen aufweist,
dürfen Sie es nicht in Betrieb nehmen.
Wenn das Anschlusskabel dieses Kühlgerätes beschädigt wird,
muss es durch den Hersteller, seinen Kundendienst oder eine
ähnlich qualifizierte Person ersetzt werden, um Gefährdungen
zu vermeiden.
Reparaturen an diesem Kühlgerät dürfen nur von Fachkräften
durchgeführt werden. Durch unsachgemäße Reparaturen
können erhebliche Gefahren entstehen.
Dieses Kühlgerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und darüber
sowie von Personen mit verringerten physischen, sensorischen
oder mentalen Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und
Wissen benutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich
des sicheren Gebrauchs des Kühlgerätes unterwiesen wurden
und die daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstehen.

Verwahren und benutzen Sie das Kühlgerät außerhalb der
Reichweite von Kindern unter 8 Jahren.
Lagern Sie keine explosionsfähigen Stoffe wie z. B. Sprüh-
dosen mit brennbarem Treibgas im Kühlgerät.

Vergleichen Sie die Spannungsangabe auf dem Typenschild
mit der vorhandenen Energieversorgung.
Schließen Sie das Kühlgerät nur wie folgt an:
– mit dem Gleichstrom-Anschlusskabel an die Gleichstrom-
Bordsteckdose (z. B. Zigarettenanzünder) im Fahrzeug
– oder mit dem Wechselstrom-Anschlusskabel an das
Wechselstromnetz
Ziehen Sie den Stecker nie am Anschlusskabel aus der Steck-
dose.
Wenn das Kühlgerät an der Gleichstrom-Steckdose ange-
schlossen ist: Klemmen Sie Ihr Kühlgerät und andere
Verbraucher von der Fahrzeugbatterie ab, bevor Sie ein
Schnellladegerät anschließen.
Wenn das Kühlgerät an der Gleichstrom-Steckdose ange-
schlossen ist: Trennen Sie die Verbindung oder schalten Sie
das Kühlgerät aus, wenn Sie den Motor ausschalten. Sonst
kann die Fahrzeugbatterie entladen werden.
Das Kühlgerät ist nicht geeignet für den Transport ätzender
oder lösungsmittelhaltiger Stoffe.
Dieses Kühlgerät enthält in der Isolierung brennbares
Zyklopentan. Die Gase im Isolationsmaterial erfordern ein
besonderes Entsorgungsverfahren. Führen Sie das Kühlgerät
am Ende seiner Lebensdauer einer ordnungsgemäßen
Entsorgung zu.

2.2 Sicherheit beim Betrieb des Kühlgerätes
VORSICHT!

Achten Sie vor der Inbetriebnahme darauf, dass Zuleitung und
Stecker trocken sind.
ACHTUNG!
Benutzen Sie keine Elektrogeräte innerhalb des Kühlgerätes,
außer wenn diese Elektrogeräte vom Hersteller dafür
empfohlen werden.
Stellen Sie das Kühlgerät nicht in der Nähe von offenen
Flammen oder anderen Wärmequellen (Heizung, starke
Sonneneinstrahlung, Gasöfen usw.) ab.
Überhitzungsgefahr!
Achten Sie stets darauf, dass beim Betrieb entstehende Wärme
ausreichend abgeführt werden kann. Sorgen Sie dafür, dass
das Kühlgerät in ausreichendem Abstand zu Wänden oder
Gegenständen steht, sodass die Luft zirkulieren kann.
Achten Sie darauf, dass die Lüftungsöffnungen nicht abgedeckt
werden.
Füllen Sie keine Flüssigkeiten oder Eis in den Innenbehälter.
Tauchen Sie das Kühlgerät nie in Wasser.
Schützen Sie das Kühlgerät und die Kabel vor Hitze und Nässe.

3 Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
Das Kühlgerät eignet sich zum Kühlen von Lebensmitteln.
Nur PB266:
Das Kühlgerät ist für den Betrieb an einer Gleichstromsteckdose eines Fahrzeugs (z. B. Zigarettenanzünder), Boots oder Wohnmobils ausgelegt (siehe
Spannungsangabe auf dem Typenschild).
Nur PB306:
Das Kühlgerät ist ausgelegt für den Betrieb an:
einer Gleichstromsteckdose eines Autos (z. B. Zigarettenanzünder),
Boots oder Wohnmobils (siehe Spannungsangabe auf dem Typenschild)
an einem Wechselstromnetz
Das Kühlgerät ist auch für Camping-Zwecke geeignet. Das Kühlgerät darf
keinem Regen ausgesetzt werden.

Prüfen Sie bitte, ob die Kühlleistung des Kühlgerätes den Anforderungen der Lebensmittel oder Medikamente entspricht, die Sie

4 Technische Beschreibung
Das Kühlgerät ist für den mobilen Einsatz geeignet. Es kann Waren abkühlen
bzw. kühl halten.
Die Kühlung ist eine verschleißfreie Peltierkühlung mit Wärmeabfuhr durch
einen Lüfter.
Nur PB306:
Wenn das Kühlgerät an einem Wechselstromnetz angeschlossen ist, kann
es in zwei verschiedenen Betriebsarten verwendet werden:
ECO-Modus: das Kühlgerät verbraucht weniger Energie
MAX-Modus: das Kühlgerät erreicht die maximale Kühlleistung
Die gewünschte Kühlleistung wird mit dem Kühlleistungsregler eingestellt:
➤ Um die Kühlleistung zu erhöhen, drehen Sie den Kühlleistungsregler im
Uhrzeigersinn.
Für die maximale Kühlleistung drehen Sie den Kühlleistungsregler bis
zum Anschlag im Uhrzeigersinn (Position „max“).
➤ Um die Kühlleistung zu verringern, drehen Sie den Kühlleistungsregler
gegen den Uhrzeigersinn.
Um das Kühlgerät auszuschalten, drehen Sie den Kühlleistungsregler
bis zum Anschlag gegen den Uhrzeigersinn (Position „off“).
Wenn das Kühlgerät an der Gleichstromsteckdose angeschlossen ist, kann
die Kühlleistung nicht eingestellt werden. Das Kühlgerät kühlt dann maximal
herunter.

Lebensmittel dürfen nur in Originalverpackungen oder
geeigneten Behältern eingelagert werden.
ACHTUNG! Beschädigungsgefahr!
Achten Sie darauf, dass sich nur Gegenstände bzw. Waren im
Kühlgerät befinden, die auf die gewählte Temperatur gekühlt
oder dürfen.
Achten Sie darauf, dass das Kühlgerät gut belüftet wird, damit
die entzogene Wärme abgeführt werden kann, andernfalls ist
eine ordnungsgemäße Funktion nicht gewährleistet. Insbesondere dürfen die Lüftungsöffnungen nicht abgedeckt
werden.
HINWEIS
Bevor Sie das neue Kühlgerät in Betrieb nehmen, sollten Sie
es aus hygienischen Gründen innen und außen mit einem
feuchten Tuch reinigen (siehe auch Kapitel Kapitel „Reinigung
und Pflege“ auf Seite 13).
Ein paar Wassertropfen können sich im Inneren des Kühl-
gerätes absetzen, wenn es längere Zeit gekühlt hat. Dies ist
normal, weil die Feuchtigkeit in der Luft zu Wassertropfen
kondensiert, wenn die Temperatur im Kühlgerät abkühlt. Das
Kühlgerät ist nicht defekt. Wischen Sie es ggf. mit einem
trockenen Tuch aus.
Wenn der Griff nach hinten umgelegt ist oder das Kühlgerät
getragen wird, ist der Deckel verschlossen. Sie können den
Deckel nur öffnen, wenn der Griff nach vorne umgelegt ist.

5.1 Tipps zum Energiesparen
Wählen Sie einen gut belüfteten und vor Sonnenstrahlen geschützten
Einsatzort.
Lassen Sie warme Speisen erst abkühlen, bevor Sie sie im Kühlgerät kühl
halten.
Öffnen Sie das Kühlgerät nicht häufiger als nötig.
Lassen Sie das Kühlgerät nicht länger offen als nötig.
Entnehmen Sie einzelne Getränkeflaschen durch die Flaschenluke, wenn
vorhanden.
5.2 Kühlgerät im Gleichstrombetrieb verwenden
➤ Stellen Sie das Kühlgerät auf eine feste Unterlage.
➤ Schließen Sie das Gleichstrom-Anschlusskabel an die Gleichstrom-
steckdose im Fahrzeug an.
✓ Das Kühlgerät startet mit dem Kühlen des Innenraums.
➤ Wenn Sie das Kühlgerät außer Betrieb nehmen, ziehen Sie den
Anschlussstecker heraus.
5.3 Kühlgerät im Wechselstrombetrieb verwenden
(nur PB306)
➤ Stellen Sie das Kühlgerät auf eine feste Unterlage.
➤ Schließen Sie das Wechselstrom-Anschlusskabel an die Wechsel-
spannung an.
➤ Drehen Sie den Kühlleistungsregler in die gewünschte Stellung.
✓ Das Kühlgerät startet mit dem Kühlen des Innenraums.
➤ Wenn Sie das Kühlgerät außer Betrieb nehmen, drehen Sie den
Kühlleistungsregler in die Position „OFF“.

5.4 An Bordnetz anschließen

5.5 USB-Buchse benutzen
Sie können den USB-Anschluss zum Laden von Kleingeräten (z. B. Mobiltelefone und MP3-Player) nutzen. Die Benutzung der USB-Buchse (5 V,
500 mA) beeinflusst nicht die Kühlleistung.

Gehen Sie wie folgt vor (Abb. 1, Seite 3):
➤ Verbinden Sie das Kühlgerät mit der Gleichstrom- oder (nur PB306)
Wechselstrom-Steckdose (2).
➤ Nur PB306: Drehen Sie den Kühlleistungsregler (3) in die „MAX“-
Stellung.
Wenn Sie das Kühlgerät an das Bordnetz Ihres Fahrzeugs
anschließen, beachten Sie, dass Sie ggf. die Zündung einschalten müssen, damit das Kühlgerät mit Strom versorgt wird.
HINWEIS
Stellen Sie sicher, dass das an den USB-Anschluss angeschlossene Kleingerät für den Betrieb bei 5 V/500 mA geeignet ist.
➤ Verbinden Sie Ihr Gerät mit der USB-Buchse (1).

➤ Reinigen Sie das Kühlgerät innen und außen gelegentlich mit einem
feuchten Tuch.
➤ Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Be- und Entlüftungsöffnungen des Kühl-
gerätes frei von Staub und Verunreinigungen sind, damit die beim Betrieb
entstehende Wärme abgeführt werden kann und das Kühlgerät keinen
Schaden nimmt.
Trennen Sie vor jeder Reinigung und Pflege das Kühlgerät von
der Stromversorgung.
ACHTUNG! Beschädigungsgefahr!
Reinigen Sie das Kühlgerät niemals unter fließendem Wasser
oder gar im Spülwasser.
Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung keine scharfen Reinigungs-
mittel oder harten Gegenstände, da diese das Kühlgerät
beschädigen können.

Der Innenlüfter oder das
Kühlelement ist defekt.
Die Fassung der Gleichstromsteckdose ist verschmutzt. Das hat einen
schlechten elektrischen
Kontakt zur Folge.
Die Sicherung des
Gleichstromsteckers ist
durchgebrannt.
Die Fahrzeug-Sicherung ist durchgebrannt.
In den meisten Fahrzeugen muss der
Zündschalter eingeschaltet sein, damit die
Gleichstromsteckdose Spannung hat.
Versuchen Sie es an einer anderen Steckdose.
Die Reparatur kann nur von einem zugelassenen Kundendienstbetrieb durchgeführt werden.
Wenn der Stecker in der Gleichstromsteckdose sehr warm wird, muss entweder die
Fassung gereinigt werden, oder der Stecker ist möglicherweise nicht richtig zusammengebaut
Tauschen Sie die Sicherung des
Gleichstromssteckers durch eine
gleichwertige Sicherung aus.

The cooling device is not suitable for transporting caustic
materials or materials containing solvents.
The cooling device contains inflammable cyclopentane in the
insulation. The gases in the insulation material require special
disposal procedures. Deliver the device at the end of its lifecycle to an appropriate recycling.

heat that arises during operation does not build up. Make sure
that the device is sufficiently far away from walls and other
objects so that the air can circulate.

Do not fill the inner container with ice or fluid.
Never immerse the device in water.
Protect the device and the cable against heat and moisture.
3 Intended use
The cooler is suitable for cooling foodstuffs.
PB266 only:
The device is designed for use with a DC power socket of a vehicle (such as

The device is designed for operation on:

4 Technical description
The cooler is portable. It can chill products and keep them cool.
Its cooling system is a non-wearing Peltier cooling system with the heat
discharged by a fan.
PB306 only:
When the cooler is connected to a AC mains supply, it can be used in two
different operating modes:
ECO mode: the cooler uses less energy
MAX mode: the cooler refrigerates at its maximum level
The preferred cooling level is selected using the cooling level control knob.
➤ To increase the cooling level, turn the cooling level control knob clock-
wise.
For the maximum cooling level, turn the cooling level control knob clock-
wise all the way to the “Max” position.
➤ To decrease the cooling level, turn the cooling level control knob anti-
clockwise.
To switch the cooler off, turn the cooling level control knob anti-clockwise
all the way to the “Off” position.
When the cooler is connected to the DC power socket the cooling capacity
cannot be selected. The cooler then refrigerates at the maximum level.

5 Operation

NOTICE! Risk of damage!
Ensure that the objects placed in the cooler are suitable for
cooling to the selected temperature.
Ensure that your cooler is well ventilated so that any heat cre-
ated can dissipate. Otherwise proper functioning cannot be
ensured. It is especially important not to cover the air vents.
NOTE
Before starting your new cooler for the first time, you need to
clean it inside and outside with a damp cloth for hygienic reasons (see also chapter chapter “Cleaning and maintenance”
on page 23).
A few water drops may form inside the cooler if it has been
cooling for a lengthy period. This is normal because the moisture in the air condenses to water when the temperature in the
cooler falls. The cooler is not defective. Wipe it out with a dry
cloth if necessary.
If the handle is folded back or if the cooler is being carried, the
lid is locked. You can only open the lid when the handle is
folded forwards.
5.1 Energy saving tips
Choose a well ventilated installation location which is protected against
direct sunlight.
Allow warm food to cool down first before placing it in the cooling device
to keep cool.
Do not open the cooling device more often than necessary.
Do not leave the cooling device open for longer than necessary.
Remove individual drinks bottles through the bottle hatch if available.

5.2 Using the cooler in DC operation
➤ Place the cooler on a firm base.
➤ Connect the DC connection cable to the cigarette lighter or the DC power
socket in the vehicle.
✓ The cooler starts cooling the interior.
➤ To switch off the cooler, disconnect the plug.
5.3 Using the cooler in AC operation (PB306 only)
➤ Place the cooler on a firm base.
➤ Connect the AC connection cable to the AC power supply.
➤ Turn the cooling capacity control knob to the required position.
✓ The cooler starts cooling the interior.
➤ When you stop using the cooler, turn the cooling capacity control to the
“OFF” position.
5.4 Connecting to vehicle power
NOTE
I
If you connect the cooling device to the vehicle power, remember
that you may have to turn on the ignition to supply it with power.

5.5 Using the USB port
The USB port allows you to charge small devices like mobile phones and
mp3-players. Using the USB port (5 V, 500 mA) (1) does not affect the
cooling performance.
NOTE

Proceed as follows (fig. 1, page 3):
➤ Connect the cooling device to the DC or (PB306 only) the AC socket (2).
➤ PB306 only: Turn the cooling capacity control (3) to the “Max” position.
➤ Connect your appliance to the USB port (1).
Ensure that any small device connected to the USB port is
compatible with 5 V/500 mA operation.

➤ Occasionally clean the device interior and exterior with a damp cloth.
➤ Make sure that the air inlet and outlet vents on the device are free of any

Never clean the cooler under running water or in dish water.
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or hard objects during
cleaning as these can damage the cooler.

8 Disposal

wherever possible.

Si la glacière est raccordée à la prise CC : débranchez ou
éteignez la glacière lorsque vous éteignez le moteur. Dans le
cas contraire, il se pourrait que la batterie se décharge.
N’utilisez pas la glacière pour le transport de produits corrosifs
ou de solvants.
Cette glacière contient du cyclopentane inflammable dans son
isolation. Les gaz contenus dans le matériau d'isolation exigent
une procédure de retraitement particulière. Une fois que vous
ne l'utilisez plus, recyclez l'appareil de manière conforme.
