5 Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch

Dometic RainTec RT100 ist geeignet zum Anbau an Kastenwagen des Typs
Fiat Ducato, Citroën Jumper, Peugeot Boxer ab Modelljahr 2006.

RainTec RT100 dient als Regenrinne oberhalb der Schiebetür.

Die integrierte Beleuchtung darf nicht während der Fahrt, sondern nur im
Stand benutzt werden.

6 RT100 montieren

6.1 Benötigtes Montagematerial

Für die Montage der Markise benötigen Sie:

 Bohrer mit Durchmesser 3 mm
 Schraubendreher oder Bit mit Antrieb TX15
 Geeignetes elastisches Dichtmittel wie z. B. Sikaflex

6.2 Hinweise zum Montageort

Beachten Sie bei der Wahl des Einbauortes Folgendes:

ACHTUNG!

A

 Für eine optimale Haftung montieren Sie die Regenrinne am besten bei

 Leitungen und Einbauschränke im Fahrzeuginnenraum dürfen

beim Bohren nicht beschädigt werden.

Umgebungstemperaturen von 18 – 22 °C.

➤ Testen Sie vor der Montage, ob die Beleuchtung funktioniert.

➤ Reinigen Sie den Bereich an der Fahrzeugwand oberhalb der Schiebetür.

Die Klebefläche muss sauber, frei von Fett und Öl sowie trocken sein.

➤ Führen Sie das Anschlusskabel nach unten weg.

➤ Richten Sie die Regenrinne mittig mit Hilfe der beiden schrägen Flächen

an den Seiten aus und drücken Sie sie erst dann an die Fahrzeugwand.

Die Regenrinne kann nicht mehr verschoben werden, wenn die
Klebefläche auf der Fahrzeugwand aufliegt. Achten Sie vorher
auf die richtige Ausrichtung!

➤ Drücken Sie die Klebefläche fest und gleichmäßig entlang der ganzen

Regenrinne an.

➤ Führen Sie das Anschlusskabel durch die vorhandene Bohrung (1) ober-

halb der oberen Führungsschiene (2) ins Fahrzeug.

➤ Legen Sie die Anschlussleitung in den Spalt oberhalb der oberen Füh-

rungsschiene.

➤ Dichten Sie den Spalt und die Bohrung mit Dichtmasse sorgfältig ab,

sodass dort kein Wasser in das Fahrzeug eindringen kann.

 Lassen Sie die Beleuchtung nur von einer Fachkraft elektrisch

anschließen.

 Erstellen Sie alle Anschlüsse entsprechend der geltenden

elektrotechnischen Vorschriften.

HINWEIS

I

➤ Schließen Sie die Beleuchtung mit richtiger Polarität an eine 12 Vg-

Versorgung an (rt = rot, sw = schwarz).

 Falls vorhanden, verwenden Sie einen Anschluss, der bei

laufendem Motor abgeschaltet ist.

 Anderenfalls setzen Sie einen Sperrschalter in die elektrische

Schaltung ein, um sicherzustellen, dass bei eingeschalteter
Zündung keine Spannung an die Beleuchtung geliefert wird.
Sonst kann die Beleuchtung während der Fahrt eingeschaltet
werden. Der Sperrschalter kann über ein Öffnerkontakt-Relais
ausgeführt werden, das an das D+-Signal angeschlossen
wird (1).

➤ Verwenden Sie einen Schalter (Zubehör) oder den LED-Dimmer FFB8

(Zubehör), um die Beleuchtung komfortabel bedienen zu können.

8 Garantie

Es gilt die gesetzliche Gewährleistungsfrist. Sollte das Produkt defekt sein,
wenden Sie sich bitte an Ihren Fachhändler oder an die Niederlassung des
Herstellers in Ihrem Land (Adressen siehe Rückseite der Anleitung).

Zur Reparatur- bzw. Gewährleistungsbearbeitung müssen Sie folgende
Unterlagen mitschicken:

 eine Kopie der Rechnung mit Kaufdatum,
 einen Reklamationsgrund oder eine Fehlerbeschreibung.

9 Entsorgung

➤ Geben Sie das Verpackungsmaterial möglichst in den entsprechenden

Recycling-Müll.

Wenn Sie das Produkt endgültig außer Betrieb nehmen, infor­mieren Sie sich bitte beim nächsten Recyclingcenter oder bei

5 Intended use

Dometic RainTec RT100 is designed to be mounted on a box wagon of the
type Fiat Ducato, Citroën Jumper, Peugeot Boxer from model year 2006
onward.

RainTec RT100 serves as a rain gutter above the sliding door.

The integrated lighting may not be used during travel, but only while the vehi­cle is stationary.

6 RT100 installation

6.1 Required installation material

For the installation of the rain gutter, you will need:

 Drill bit with 3 mm diameter
 Screwdriver or bit with drive TX15
 Suitable flexible sealant, e.g. Sikaflex

6.2 Notes on the installation position

When choosing the installation location, observe the following:

 For optimal adhesion mount the rain gutter at ambient temperatures of

➤ Clean the area on the wall of the vehicle above the sliding door.

The adhesive surface must be clean, free of grease and oil, and dry.

➤ Guide the connection cable down and out.

➤ Align the rain gutter in a centred fashion using the two inclined surfaces

at the sides and then press them into the wall of the vehicle.

The rain gutter can no longer be moved if the adhesive surface is
on the vehicle wall. Check beforehand for correct alignment.

➤ Press the adhesive surface firmly and at the same time along the entire

rain gutter.

➤ Guide the connecting cable through the existing borehole (1) above the

upper guide rail (2) into the vehicle.

Note on fig. 8

➤ Place the connecting cable in the gap above the upper guide rail.

➤ Seal the gap and borehole carefully with sealant so that no water can

enter the vehicle.

7 Connecting the RT100 to the electrical

power

WARNING!

 Only a qualified electrician should connect the lighting to the

electrical power.

 Establish all connections according to the applicable electrical

guidelines.

NOTE

➤ Connect the lighting with correct polarity to a 12 Vg supply (rt = red,

sw = black).

➤ Use a switch (accessories) or the LED dimmer FFB 8 (accessories) to

operate the lighting comfortably.

 If present, use a connection that is switched off when the

motor is running.

 If not, insert a lockout switch in the electrical circuit in order to

ensure that no current is transferred to the lighting when the
ignition is activated. Otherwise, the lighting could be switched
on during travel. The lockout switch can be executed via a
break contact relay which is connected to the D+ signal (1).

contact your retailer or the manufacturer's branch in your country (see the
back of the instruction manual for the addresses).

For repair and guarantee processing, please include the following docu­ments when you send in the device:

 A copy of the receipt with purchasing date
 A reason for the claim or description of the fault

5 Usage conforme

Le Dometic RainTec RT100 convient au montage dans les camionnettes du
type Fiat Ducato, Citroën Jumper, Peugeot Boxer à partir de l'année-modèle

2006.

Le RainTec RT100 sert de gouttière au-dessus de la porte coulissante.

L'éclairage intégré ne doit pas être utilisé pendant le trajet, mais uniquement
à l'arrêt.

6 Montage du RT 100

6.1 Matériel de montage nécessaire

Pour le montage de la gouttière, vous avez besoin des éléments suivants :

 Perceuse d'un diamètre de 3 mm
 Tournevis ou embout avec entraînement TX15
 Produit d'étanchéité élastique adapté comme p. ex. Sikaflex

6.2 Consignes relatives au lieu de montage

Pour le choix de l'emplacement de montage, tenez compte des remarques
suivantes :

 Pour obtenir une adhérence optimale, l'idéal est de monter la gouttière

6.3 Montage du RT 100

➤ Avant le montage, vérifiez que l'éclairage fonctionne.

➤ Nettoyez la zone de la paroi du véhicule se trouvant au-dessus de la porte

coulissante.
La surface de collage doit être propre, exempte de graisse et d'huile et
sèche.

REMARQUE

➤ Faites passer le câble de raccordement vers le bas.

La gouttière ne peut plus être décalée lorsque la surface de col­lage est posée sur la paroi du véhicule. Veillez auparavant à une
bonne orientation !

➤ Placez la gouttière au milieu à l'aide des deux surfaces en biais sur les

côtés et appuyez-la alors contre la paroi du véhicule.

➤ Appuyez fermement et régulièrement sur la surface de collage, tout le

long de la gouttière.

➤ Faites passer le câble de raccordement par l'alésage présent (1) au-des-

sus du rail de guidage supérieur (2) pour le faire entrerdans le véhicule.

Remarque concernant fig. 8

➤ Placez la ligne de raccordement dans la rainure au-dessus du rail de gui-

dage supérieur.

➤ Colmatez soigneusement la rainure et le perçage avec du mastic, de

sorte que l'eau ne puisse pas pénétrer dans le véhicule.

7 Raccordement électrique du RT100

AVERTISSEMENT !

!

 Faites effectuer le raccordement électrique de l'éclairage par

un spécialiste.

 Effectuez tous les branchements en conformité avec les direc-

tives électrotechniques en vigueur.

REMARQUE

I

➤ En respectant la polarité, raccordez l'éclairage à une alimentation 12 Vg

(rt = rouge, sw = noir).

 Si vous en disposez, utilisez un raccordement qui soit éteint

lorsque le moteur tourne.

 Dans le cas contraire, insérez un commutateur de blocage

dans le circuit électrique afin de garantir qu'aucune tension
n'alimente l'éclairage lorsque le contact est mis. Sinon, l'éclai­rage pourrait s'allumer pendant la conduite. Le commutateur
de blocage peut être un relais à contact d'ouverture raccordé
au signal D+ (1).

➤ Utilisez un commutateur (accessoire) ou le variateur de lumière LED

FFB8 (accessoire) pour pouvoir utiliser l'éclairage confortablement.

8 Garantie

Le délai légal de garantie s'applique. Si le produit s'avérait défectueux,

5 Uso adecuado

Dometic RainTec RT100 es adecuado para el montaje en furgonetas del tipo
Fiat Ducato, Citroën Jumper, Peugeot Boxer a partir de año 2006.

RainTec RT100 sirve como un canalón con luz por encima de la puerta
corrediza.

La iluminación integrada no debe utilizarse durante la conducción, sino solo
cuando el vehículo está detenido.

6 Montaje de RT100

6.1 Material de montaje necesario

Para montar el canalón se necesita:

 Taladro con diámetro de 3 mm
 Destornillador o broca con accionamiento TX15
 Sellador elástico apropiado, como Sikaflex

6.2 Indicaciones relativas al lugar de montaje

Al elegir el lugar de montaje tenga en cuenta lo siguiente:

 Para una óptima adherencia al canalón realice el montaje a temperaturas

ducciones ni armarios empotrados del habitáculo.

➤ Limpie la zona de la pared del vehículo por encima de la puerta corrediza.

La superficie de adhesión debe estar limpia, libre de grasa y aceite, y
seca.

➤ Introduzca el cable de conexión hacia abajo.

➤ Alinee el canalón en el centro con las dos superficies inclinadas en los

lados y presione en la pared del vehículo.

El canalón no se puede mover cuando la superficie adhesiva se
apoya en la pared del vehículo. Preste atención a la dirección
correcta.

➤ Presione el lado adhesivo firmemente y de forma uniforme a lo largo del

canalón.

➤ Pase el cable por el orificio existente g (1) sobre el raíl guía superior (2)

en el vehículo.

➤ Inserte el cable de conexión en el espacio situado por encima del raíl guía

superior.

➤ Selle el espacio y el orificio con sellador cuidadosamente, de modo que

no pueda penetrar el agua en el vehículo.

7 Conexión eléctrica de RT100

 La conexión eléctrica de la iluminación debería ser realizada

únicamente por un técnico.

 Realice todas las conexiones conforme a las directivas elec-

trotécnicas válidas.

➤ Conecte la iluminación con la polaridad correcta para un suministro de

12 Vg (rt = rojo, sw = negro).

➤ Use un interruptor (accesorio) o el atenuador de LED FFB 8 (accesorio)

para operar la iluminación cómodamente.

 Si está disponible, utilice un terminal que se apague cuando el

motor está en marcha.

 De lo contrario, coloque un interruptor de bloqueo en la

conexión eléctrica para garantizar que, con el encendido
conectado, no se suministre tensión a la iluminación. De esta
forma se evita que la iluminación se encienda durante la con­ducción. El interruptor de bloqueo puede colocarse mediante
un relé con contacto de apertura conectado a la señal D+ (1).

8 Garantía

Rige el plazo de garantía legal. Si el producto presenta algún defecto,
diríjase a su establecimiento especializado o a la sucursal del fabricante de
su país (ver direcciones en el dorso de estas instrucciones).

Para la tramitación de la reparación y de la garantía debe enviar también los
siguientes documentos:

 una copia de la factura con fecha de compra,
 el motivo de la reclamación o una descripción de la avería.

9 Gestión de residuos

➤ Deseche el material de embalaje en el contenedor de reciclaje correspon-

diente.

Cuando vaya a desechar definitivamente el producto, infórmese en
el centro de reciclaje más cercano o en un comercio especializado

sobre las normas pertinentes de eliminación de materiales.
