1 NEW HYBRID TWO-MODE HEMI. HEMI power. SUV capability. Fuel-saving technologies. This is Durango Hybrid. Unlike traditional hybrid vehicles, Durango Hybrid offers both better fuel
efficiency

— plus 100 percent power with additional capability to the legendary HEMI V8 for up to 400 horsepower. Here’s how: Durango operates
differently at various speeds, including electric only, gas only, or a combination of the two. The first mode is used at low speeds, up to 25 mph, and for hauling light loads. One of the
two electric motors provides that acceleration without using any fuel. The second mode is used primarily at highway speeds as it provides full 8-cylinder power when needed, such as
pulling a trailer, climbing a hill, or passing another vehicle. The HEMI engine also has the Multi-Displacement System (MDS) that transforms the powerful 5.7-liter V8 into a gas-sipping
4-cylinder, by deactivating half of the cylinders during cruising and light acceleration. And thanks to the two electric motors, the MDS operates much more frequently. The net take: almost 25
percent better combined fuel economy

overall from the HEMI V8 and electric motor power, nearly 40 percent more fuel economy in the city — which all results in less time and money spent
at the pump.
2 HYBRID GAUGE. Use the unique Hybrid gauge to adjust driving habits for maximum fuel economy. When driving efficiently, the needle will be at the 12 o’clock position. When the needle
falls to either side, simply adjust Durango’s speed to become efficient again.
3 HYBRID INFORMATION CENTER. A 6.5-inch touch-screen LCD monitor with full-color enhanced graphics doubles as the Hybrid information center. View the screens to determine which
engine mode you are traveling in. The “HYBRID” message will appear when driving in Hybrid mode, “FUEL SAVER” will appear when the engine is running in MDS mode, and during braking
or coasting “CHARGING” will appear to signal regeneration is taking place.
