The compact, lightweight, easy-to-install construction of the DJI AVINOX Drive System allows
improved integration within the eBike, providing greater freedom in frame design. The drive
system oers a choice of dierent modes, including ve riding assist modes (Auto, Eco, Trail,
Turbo, and Boost) for dierent riding environments and a Walk Mode to assist the user when
pushing the bike. Based on multiple sensors’ input, the drive system provides a smooth
ride when shifting gears and launching from a standstill. The built-in IMU provides attitude
detection to the bike (pitch and roll angle), which automatically adjusts the assistance level
based on the attitude data in Auto mode. Users can personalize the riding experience via
the app by customizing the bike screen display and assist parameters according to the riding
environment and rider preferences.

Drive Unit
The drive unit is innovatively equipped with compoud planetary gear structure for lightweight
and compact architecture. The motor offers a maximum torque of 105 N·m (120 N·m in
Boost mode), providing users with powerful ride support. Multiple sensors deliver accurate
measurements while riding to provide appropriate power in any riding situation. With a
protection rating of IP66, the Drive Unit can handle a wide variety of weather conditions and
environments.
Battery & Charger
DJI Avinox Drive System oers two lithium-ion battery models. The batteries have a uniform
width but vary in length, making it easy to design a universal bicycle frame for both batteries.
The batteries have a power density of approximately 216 Wh/kg and a capacity of 600 Wh and
800 Wh, respectively, which can hold 80% max capacity even after 500 full charge cycles. It
takes approximately 2 hours and 25 minutes to fully charge the 800 Wh battery using the 508W
fast charger.
Control Display
The Control display can automatically adjust the brightness of the screen according to the
lighting environment, which provides optimal readability even in bright lighting. The dashboard
on the display can be adjusted via the app to accommodate various user preferences. During
outdoor rides, the drive system supports up to 65 W fast charging to charge external devices
via the display USB-C port.
Wireless Controller
The wireless Controller is connected to the control display via Bluetooth, reducing cable clutter.
While riding, users can quickly switch the assist mode and control the touchscreen via the
buttons of the remote.
App
The app allows users to customize the assist parameters. Riding data such as route, speed,
cadence, and power can start to be recorded as soon as the ride begins, and also can be
shared to Strava.

Range Estimate
The app can estimate the available range with the current battery level.
Remote Bike Control
With a 4G connection, the app can show the real-time bike location. If the bike detects accident
movement while locked, it will sound an alarm on the bike and trigger a notication in the app.
Phone Key
A digital password can be set to protect the bike. When the bike and a smartphone are connected
via Bluetooth, users can activate a Phone Key to automatically unlock the bike according to
proximity.
