Congratulations on your purchase of the Disney Spotlight microphone! Now you can sound and look like a pro while singing karaoke.
For ideal sound and best amplification of your voice, hold the mic in a position pointing towards your mouth.
At normal singing volume, the mic should be about 4-6 inches away from your mouth. If you sing softer, hold the mic closer. If you sing louder or scream, hold the mic farther away.
The best way to determine how close to hold the microphone is to sing a song, make notes of your volume and mic position, then listen back to your performance.
The Disney Spotlight App also has builtin mic volume boost to assist you. If you are a quiet singer, you can maximize the sensitivity of the microphone by turning the mic volume control all the way up. Conversely, if you sing loudly, you may need to turn this control down. Again, singing and recording and then listening back is the best way to find the right mix.
