Your cleaner contains a thermal protective device to shut off the motor to avoid overheating.
If this happens, turn switch off and unplug the cleaner. Inspect the exhaust, inlet, and filters
for any blockage. Empty the dirt container and clean filters. After approximately 30 minutes
the motor will have cooled and the vacuum will be ready to use. NOTE: the cleaner must
remain unplugged during the 30 minute cooling period.

workmanship commencing upon the date of the original purchase. Refer to your vacuum cleaner carton for

resting on the posts located inside the right and left of the bag
chamber (Diagram 1a). Be sure paper bag is fully extended

Phillips Screwdriver to remove the three (3)

IF OBSTRUCTION DEVELOPS DURING FLOOR CLEANING:
1. If obstruction develops while cleaning carpets, turn cleaner OFF and unplug. Check paper bag to see if it is
full. If full, replace with a new paper bag (Page 8).
2. Check dirt tube to see if there is an obstruction (Page 6, “HOSE ASSEMBLY”).
If so, remove obstruction.
3. Turn cleaner over and remove nozzle guard (Page 9, Diagram 1). Clear any obstruction that occurs in or
around the brushroll area.
4. Remove hose from hose inlet (Page 7, Diagram 7). Remove any obstruction.
NOTE : Regularly clean debris from filter in bag compartment (Page 8).
