Application
The two tube convection air heating unit is an efficient and economical means of heating all stainsteel wax bases.
Construction
Exterior shall be 304, No. 20 finish
stainless steel. Welds shall be
ground. Frame shall be 22 gauge.
Each tube shall have a separated
heavy duty all stainless steel
center hinged lid. The sides, back
an front panel shall be 20 gauge
stainless steel. Four 5” (13cm)
swivel caters, two with wheel locks
shall be provided. A non-marking,
polyethylene, heavy duty wrap
around bumper is standard.
Wax Base Dispensing System
The dispensing system for the
units shall be a tube type selfleveling dispenser with 20 heavy
duty spri n g s. See operating manu a l
for calibration instructions. The
TSBH2DV will heat wax bases
from room temperature to approximately 250° (118°C) in 2 hours
(initial “heat up” of the day).
Reheat, after initial meal of the
day, will take approximately 1 hour
30 minutes.
Two Tube Convection Base Heater
Horizontal forced air convection
heat system circulates thermostatically controlled heat air evenly
throughout the well-insulated
cabinet. The two tube unit is 3400
watts at 240 volts, 14.6 amps. and
2550 watts at 208 volts, 12.3 amps.
Electrical and Controls
Electrical controls consist of
“On/Off” switch, “On” light
and an overtemp thermostat.
Temperatures are adjustable
with a variable thermostatic
control inside. The heater shall
be provided with the electrical
tension (voltage) by an “AWG 14”
connection cable, 208/240 volts.
The units requires a dedicated 20
amp, single phase
receptacle.NEMA plug 6-20P. Cord
Length 6 ft.
