1.Place unit on flat level sur face, which will support induction unit safely.Louvers must be kept free (12 inches) to promote air circulation. This unit weights approximately 34.5 pounds.
2.Plug the power cord into wall receptacle. Wall receptacle should be wired for 208V,3 phase,20 amp.Plug on unit is a NEMA L15-20R. Receptacle required is a NEMA L15-20P.
INFO:This is a 3 phase,208 volt unit.The wiring is a 3- pole,
4-wire grounding system. This system has three hot legs
and a ground. This unit is NOT phase specific.
3. Turn power switch ON in rear of unit by moving lever up to ON position.
INFO:As soon as induction heating unit is switched on, system starts a self test. All LED (Ready (green light)/Heat (orange light) / Stop (red light) / HEAT / CAUTION HOT) will flash short in rotation for about 2 seconds.

CAUTION:Do not strike top-surface of unit with hard objects. This will damage unit.
4. Base to be heated will be detected by the base detection switch and start cycle is initiated.
5. Sensor controls temperature of base during heating cycle. This guarantees that heat is evenly distributed, prevents overheating of base and controls temperature of top-surface.As a safety feature, the “caution hot”light is illuminated when surface temperature reaches 122°F. To prevent this, remove hot base from unit.
6. Base positioning device – guarantees correct position of base during heat cycle.
CAUTION:Induction heating unit is designed for use with DINEX Induction Base only.Do not use this unit to heat DINEX stainless steel base or other objects.Do not stack heated bases.

8. Main ON/OFF – This is the unit’s main ON/OFF power switch as well as an overload breaker.
9. Filter – this reusable filter protects the electronics from dirt and dust. This filter can be easily removed by unscrewing 2 screws. The filter must be cleaned a minimum of twice a year.It may be run through the dishwasher. If the filter is extremely soiled repeat cleaning process as often as necessary or replace with DINEX Part#__________. (See Technical Specification diagram)
