POWER SOURCE
This Unit is desig ned to operate on normal 240V ~ 50Hz household power source . Do not attempt to o perate the system using other power sources. This may result in damage to the unit and void your warranty. Mains plug s hould be regularly checked. If it is found damaged , do not turn on the unit and immediate ly seek advice from a qualified service technician. Any malfunction due to electrostatic discharge (ESD), reset the unit by unplugging AC Cord from the outlet; wait for few minutes before reconnect
TURNTABLE OPERATION
Note: 1. Do not resist or turn the platter manually.
2. Moving or jarring the tu rntable without securing the Tone Arm in it s Holder could result in damage to the Tone Arm.
3. Replace the protective cap on the stylus when not in use.
Preparation
Open the Record Player Cover & cross-check felt pad (9) pro perly placed with spindle (8) poked through. Connect this device to your Hifi system (via line in sockets 12) for audio output or to your computer (via USB
port 13) for e ncoding / au dio output.
Release the Tone Arm Holder (2), and remove the stylus protector (5).

Listening to Records
1. Place a record on the turntable over central spindle (8). Place the EP (45 RPM) adapter (10) over the central spindle when playing 17cm EP records.
2. Set the Speed Selector (4) to 33 or 45 rpm according to the record.
3. Release the Tone Arm Holder (2) and remove the protective cap from the stylus (5).
4. Lift the Tone arm (1) with the Tone Arm Lift Lever (3).
5. Move the tone arm to the beginning of the record or to the start of a particular track.
6. Gently lower the tone arm onto the record with the Tone Arm Lift Lever to start playing.
7. When the record is finished the tone arm will automatically stop and return to the Tone Arm Holder.
8. To stop play manually at any time, lift the tone arm f rom the record and return it to the holder.
Storing Records as Digital Music Files
Installing Audacity Software
Install the Audacity software in your Computer (supplied disc matches with the device):
- Insert the Audacity disc into CD drive of your
computer.
(via USB to computer)
Directories, Interface, Keyboard and Mouse in the Audacity preference Interface.
- Click “My Computer” on the desktop.
- Double-click “CD drive” to view contents of the
Audacity disc.
- Double-click “Audacity Set Up” & follow the
instruction to install the softwa re.
Install USB Driver
- Make sure the Audacity disc remains in your CD
drive.
- Use supplied USB cable to connect the device to
your computer.
- Follow screen instruction to install the USB driver.
Running the Software
1.Double-click the Audacity software showing red and
orange “balls” wearing blue headphone, and go to the following interface:

2. Use the attribute controls button at top of the
screen, go to beginning, Play, Record, Pause, Stop and go to end. Use the File, Edit, View, Project, Generate, Effect and Analyze menu to Save, Export and edit the music.
3. Select preference at bottom of the menu which
will open up Audacity Preference. You can set the Audio I/O, Quality, File Formats, Spectrograms,

and right tracks will show on the interface;

If no fluctuant wave on the interface during recording, please adjust the line in volume as follows:
(i)Click “start” in left corner of the computer, Select
“Programs” , “Accessories”, “Entertainment” , “Sound Recorder” and go into the sound record interface.

“Recording Control” interface: Adjust the line in volume to most or middle, the fluctuant wave will show on the interface when recording.

11. Export music files to WAV, MP3, Ogg format. Once you finished the record, you should save your music to the computer.

Click File menu and move down to Export as
WAV format, MP3 format or Ogg format.
Click anyone format to save the music, and you
will ask for the file name of the music recorded.
Note:
- Audacity does not export MP3 files directly, you
should download the LAME MP3 encoder, which named lame_enc.dll.
- If the drop down box cant be accessible then it is because of the operating system and sound card.
The unit will still work properly as long as the correct inputs and outputs have been selected.
