Quick start guide

1. Installation instruction

1.1 Installing driver for Windows 98SE (not required for Windows ME or above)

a. Connect the MP3 Player to the USB port of a PC, "Find new hardware"

appears on the screen, then click "Search latest driver for this device" and
insert the driver CD into CD-ROM, and then click "Next".

b. Select "Look in" to direct the installation directory to the "Drivers" files in the

driver CD, and then click Yes.

c. PC will install the driver for Windows 98SE automatically.

1.2 Installing battery

Install one AAA 1. 5V alkaline battery properly upon indicator on the player.

Press and hold the  button 2 seconds to power the player on and
enter the MP3 standby mode.

2. USB mode

2.1Connecting a PC as USB

Before operation, please verify the player is powered off with connecting the
PC port to the player USB port.

2.2 Removing the USB device
a. Double click the Safely Remove Hardware icon in taskbar.
b. From Safely Remove Hardware screen, highlight "USB Mass Storage

Device" item, and then click "Stop" button. "Stop to Hardware Device"
window appears on the screen.

c. Click “OK”. After the "Safe to Remove Hardware" window appears, the
player can be disconnected from PC safely.

3. Power on/off

From power off mode, press the  button 2 seconds to power on and
enter the MP3 standby mode; keep pressing

button under any mode,

the player will save the data and enter power off mode.

4. MENU Catalogue

Keep pressing the MENU to enter the main menu,push the ׀ or ׀
button to select Play Music、Play Voice、Setting、Preview、About、Folder、
Exit. Repress the MENU button to enter.

5. Playing music

a) From MP3 standby mode, you can press the button to play MP3

music and press the  button again to pause. To resume playing,
please press the button the third time.

b) From play or pause mode, press and hold the button 2 seconds,

the player will return to the MP3 standby mode, press and hold

button again, it will repeat step "a)".

c) From MP3 standby or play mode, you can push the ׀ or ׀ button to

select previous or next music.

d) From STOP status, you can push and hold the ׀or׀ button to find

your desired music quickly.

e) From play mode, you can press the ׀ or  ׀ button to fast backward or

forward in this music.
f) From play mode, press the V + or V-button to adjust volume.

g) From MP3 standby, play and pause mode, press and hold the 

button 3 seconds, the player will save the data and enter the power off mode.

6. Playing voice

a) Push the ׀ or ׀ button to select Voice and press the Menu button to

enter. You can press the  button to play, and press this button
again ot pause. To resume playing, please press this button a third time.

b) From voice standby or play mode, you can press the ׀ or ׀ button to

select last or next voice file.

c) From STOP status, you can push and hold the ׀ or ׀ button to find your

desired music quickly.

d) From Play mode, you can push and hold ׀ or ׀ button to fast backward

or forward in this music.

e) From voice standby mode, press the  button 3 seconds, the player will

enter the MP3 power off mode.

7. Function Setting

Any function mode is chosen according to the following steps: firstly keep
pressing menu, then push the ׀or׀ button to find your desired function mode
quickly, thirdly press menu (menu is equal to “enter’ key) and enter the extended

function though pushing the ׀or׀ button , at last press menu to save and
choose the extended function automatically. Besides, the specific function
settings can be referred as follows.

7.1 Setting EQ mode
Push the ׀or ׀ button to select the EQ mode: normal, pop,rock, classical,
jazz and bass. Press the MENU button to save.

7.2 Setting Play mode

Push the ׀ or ׀ button to select the playing mode, including: Normal,
repeat one, repeat all and shuffle repeat. press the MENU button to save.

7.3 Setting Contrast

Push the ׀ or ׀ button to adjust the contrast of LCD. Press the MENU
button to save the selected setting.

7.4 Adjusting Backlight

Push the ׀ or ׀ button to select the backlight set, including:always off,
5sec,10sec, always on. Press the MENU button to save the selected setting.

7.5 Setting Power set

Push the ׀ or ׀ button to select the Power set, including: Disable, 2min,
10 min,30min. Press the MENU button to save the selected shutdown time.

7.6 Setting Recording

Push the ׀ or ׀ button to select the recording setting, including:8000Hz,
11000Hz, 16000Hz, 22000Hz. Press the MENU button to save.

7.7 Setting language

Push the ׀ or ׀ button to select language:German, English, French,
Spanish, Italian, Dutch.Press the MENU button to save.

8. Preview function

Push the ׀ or ׀ button to select preview,press the MENU button to enter,
During previewing, it will play the initial 10 seconds of each music file and then
skip to next. press the  button to exit.

9. About

Push the ׀ or ׀ button to select about,press the MENU button to enter,You
can view the total memory and available memory.

10. Folder function

Push the ׀ or ׀ button to select folder, and then press the MENU button to
enter. You can push and hold the MENU button to browse the file, and push the
׀ or  ׀ to select the desired one.
In the folder mode,press MENU to enter the PLAY OR DELETE mode, press the
׀or׀ button to select.Press MENU to confirm .If you select the play,it will play
the current song.If you select the delete,it will come into the delete mode.Repress
the ׀or ׀ button to select the YES OR NO.Press MENU to confirm and
press to exit.
Note: You can not view the record folder and file under play music mode, which
will only be available in play voice mode.

7.8 Exit
Return to the previous setting.

11. Exit

Return to MP3 mode. Note: From setting mode, you can press the  button to
exit the setting mode quickly.

12. Recording

From MP3 mode or voice standby mode, press the REC /A-B button 2 seconds,
the player will enter the recording mode, and press the MENU button to stop.
You can press the  button to play voice, and press this button again to
pause. To resume playing, please press this button a third time.

13. A-B Play Mode

From MP3 or voice mode:

1) Press the REC/A-B button to select starting point A.

2) Press the REC/A-B button to select end point B, it will repeat between A-B.

3) Press the REC/A-B button again to cancel setting and resume playing MP3 or
voice.

14. Lock function

From MP3 and voice standby/ play/ pause/ record mode, you can push the
HOLD switch opposite the arrow to lock all the other buttons with a Lock icon on
the LCD accordingly. If you want to use other buttons, please push the HOLD
switch to the opposite direction of arrow.

This player supports lyric sync function.

Notice: The lyric name shall be the same as music with suffix of *. LRC and

saved in the same directory, and only the lyrics with time indication can be
displayed properly.

15. Lyric sync:

1.Installationsanvisningar

1.1 Installera drivrutin för Windows 98se (behövs inte för Windows ME och senare)

a.Anslut MP3-spelaren till USB-porten på datorn. När "Identifiera ny maskinvara"
visas på skärmen klickar du på "Sök efter den bästa drivrutinen för enheten", sätter
in CDn med drivrutinen i CD-ROM-enheten och klickar på "Nästa".
b.Välj "Sök i" och bläddra fram till katalogen där du vill installera drivrutinen. Klicka
på Ja.

c. Drivrutinen för Windows 98se installeras automatiskt.

1. 2 Batteribyte
>Sätt in ett 1,5 V alkaliskt batteri enligt anvisningarna i MP3-spelaren.
>Håll knappen nedtryckt i två sekunder så att MP3-spelaren startas och Mp3­standbyläget aktiveras.

2.USB-läge

2.1 Ansluta en dator med USB
Innan du börjar använda MP3-spelaren, kontrollerar du att den är avstängd och att
dit USB-kabeln är ansluten till datorn i ena änden och till Mp3-spelaren i
andra änden.

2.2 Koppla loss USB-enheten
a. Dubbelklicka på ikonen Säker borttagning av maskinvara i Aktivitetsfältet.

b. Markera "USB-masslagringsenhet" på skärmen Säker borttagning av
maskinvara och klicka på knappen "Stopp". Fönstret "Stoppa en maskinvaruenhet"
visas.
c. Klicka på "OK". När fönstret "Säker borttagning av maskinvara" visas, kan du
koppla loss MP3-spelaren från datorn utan problem.

3.Sätta på och stänga av

När MP3-spelaren är avstängd kan du trycka på knappen under två sekunder så
att MP3-spelaren startas och MP3-standbyläget aktiveras. Om du fortsätter att
hålla knappen nedtryckt så sparas alla data och strömmen stängs av.

4.MENYALTERNATIV

Fortsätt hålla knappen MENU (MENY) nedtryckt så öppnas huvudmenyn. Tryck på
knapparna och för att välja bland alternativen Play Music (Spela upp musik),
Play Voice (Spela upp röst), Setting (Inställning), Preview (Förhandsvisning),
About (Om), Folder (Mapp) och Exit (Avsluta). Tryck på MENU en gång till för att
aktivera menyalternativet.

5.Spela upp musik

a)I MP3-standbyläge trycker du på knappen en gång när du vill spela MP3-musik.
Tryck på en gång till om du vill göra paus. Fortsätt spela musik genom att trycka
på en tredje gång.
b)Om du håller knappen nedtryckt i två sekunder i uppspelnings- eller pausläge,
återgår MP3-spelaren till MP3-standbyläget. Håll knappen

► II nedtryckt igen, så upprepas steg "a)".
c)I MP3-standbyläge och uppspelningsläge trycker du på knappen eller om du
vill välja föregående eller nästa spår.
d)I STOP-läge kan du trycka på knappen eller om du snabbt vill bläddra fram
till den musik du vill lyssna på.
e)I uppspelningsläget kan du trycka på knappen eller om du vill snabbspola
bakåt eller framåt.
f)I uppspelningsläget kan du trycka på knappen V + eller V- när du vill justera
volymen.
g)I MP3-standbyläge, uppspelnings- och pausläge kan du hålla knappen ►
nedtryckt i tre sekunder så sparas alla data och strömmen stängs av.

6. Spela upp röst

a)Tryck på knappen eller , välj Voice (Röst) och tryck på knappen ► .T ryck på
knappen ► en gång så startar uppspelningen. Tryck en gång till för paus. Fortsätt
uppspelningen igen genom att trycka på knappen en tredje gång.
b)I röststandbyläge och uppspelningsläge trycker du på knappen eller om du
vill välja föregående eller nästa röstspår.
c)I STOP-läge kan du trycka på knappen eller om du snabbt vill bläddra fram
till den musik du vill lyssna på.
d)I uppspelningsläget kan du hålla knappen eller nedtryckt för
snabbspolning bakåt

eller framåt.
e) I röststandbyläget kan du hålla knappen ► n nedtryckt under två sekunder så
övergår MP3-spelaren i MP3-standbyläget.

7. Funktionsinställningar

Så här väljer du funktionsläge: Börja med att trycka ned knappen eller och
hålla nedtryckt tills önskat funktionsläge visas. Tryck på menyknappen (som har
samma funktion som Enter) och välj funktion genom att trycka på knappen
eller . Tryck på menyknappen en gång till för att spara och aktivera den valda
funktionen. Nedan följer en beskrivning av de olika funktionsinställningarna.

7.1Ställa in EQ-läge
Tryck på knappen eller för att välja EQ-läge: Standard, pop, rock, klassiskt,
jazz och bass. Tryck på MENU-knappen för att spara.

7.2Ställa in uppspelningsläge
Tryck på knappen eller för att välja uppspelningsläge: Standard, repetera en
gång, repetera alla och slumpmässig repetition. Tryck på MENU-knappen för att
spara.

7.3Ställa in kontrast
Tryck på knappen eller för att justera kontrasten på LCD-skärmen. Tryck på
MENU-knappen för att spara inställlningen.

7.4Justera bakgrundbelysningen
Tryck på knappen eller för att ställa in bakgrundsbelysningen: Off (av), 5s, 10s
eller on (på). Tryck på MENU-knappen för att spara inställlningen.

7.5Ställa in hur länge strömmen ska vara på
Tryck på knappen eller för att välja hur länge strömmen ska vara på: 2m, 10m,
30m eller off (av). Tryck på MENU-knappen för att spara den valda
avstängningstiden.

7.6Ställa in inspelning
Tryck på knappen eller för att välja inspelningsinställning: 8000Hz, 11000HZ,
16000HZ, 22000Hz. Tryck på MENU-knappen för att spara.

7.7Ställa in språk
Tryck på knappen eller för att välja språk: German (tyska), English (engelska),
French (franska), Spanish (spanska), Italian (italienska) och Dutch (nederländska).
Tryck på MENU-knappen för att spara.

7.8Avsluta
Återgå till föregående läge.

8. Förhandsvisa musik

Under förhandsvisningen spelas de första 10 sekunderna upp av varje musikspår.
Avsluta genom att trycka på MENU-knappen.
