The DEMA 950 Flush Manifold is designed for long reliable use with simplicity and adaptability in mind. The 950 Flush
Manifold can be added to DEMA Laundry Master Models 842, 844, and 845 in order to reduce the number of
chemical feed tubes to the washer.
The small size of the flush manifold was designed for confined spaces. The flush manifold consists of a non-adjustable
20-psi pressure regulator, a flush solenoid valve, a check valve to prevent corrosion of all upstream components, and a
low pressure switch (4 psi).
The following flush manifold models are available with various pump connections:
Note: The flush manifold does not have an approved backflow preventer that protects the potable water
system from contamination. Be sure to have a licensed plumber or tradesperson install a backflow
prevention system that complies with all local plumbing codes.
Please read instructions before proceeding with Flush Manifold installation.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Laundry Room Survey
Survey the laundry room or installation site before installing the Flush Manifold.
1. Select location to mount the Flush Manifold on a wall that will allow close access to the chemical product
containers, the chemical pumping unit, and the flush line feed point of the laundry machine.
2. Mount the Flush Manifold on a wall by use of the screws and wall anchors that are included. Evaluate the wall
condition to assure that the supplied wall anchors are suitable, it may be necessary to use other hardware to
mount the Flush Manifold properly.
Electrical Installation
All installations must be in accordance with city, county, state or provincial electrical codes and should be
performed by a certified electrician. For questions, please contact a local licensed electrical contractor.
The electrical installation of the Flush Manifold is for installing with the DEMA Laundry Master (Models
842, 844, and 845).
1. BEFORE GOING ANY FURTHER, ALL ELECTRICAL POWER MUST BE TURNED OFF TO
THE LAUNDRY MACHINE AND ANY OTHER CIRCUIT THAT IS TO BE USED FOR THIS
INSTALLATION. LOCKOUT AND TAG PROCEDURES SHOULD BE OBSERVED WHEN
INSTALLING THIS DEVICE. NEVER OPEN THE LAUNDRY MASTER UNLESS POWER
HAS BEEN TURNED OFF. SIGNALS MAY BE PRESENT FROM LAUNDRY MACHINE,
EVEN WITH THE LAUNDRY MASTER POWER TURNED OFF. ONLY USE ELECTRICAL
CODE APPROVED INSULATED WIRING AND ELECTRICAL FIXTURES WITH THIS
INSTALLATION.

2. Wire the pressure switch to the circuit board terminals labeled FLUSH GND and + on right side of circuit
board. Note: Before wiring the pressure switch to the circuit board, be sure that the jumper betweenGND and + terminals on the circuit board is removed. The pressure switch has a maximum rating of 24V
DC (4 Amps) and a maximum operating pressure of 150 PSI.
3. Wire the solenoid valve to the circuit board terminals labeled FLUSH + and – on upper left side of circuit
board. In order for the flush manifold to work properly, the solenoid valve needs to have a rating of 24V DC
and 125 PSI. Note: The solenoid valve is included with the Flush Manifold.
Tubing Connections
ALWAYS WEAR PROTECTIVE CLOTHING AND EYEWEAR WHEN WORKING WITH CHEMICALS.
FOR SAFETY REASONS, AVOID MIXING HAZARDOUS CHEMICALS TOGETHER.
Measure the length of tubing needed for chemical injection from the pump to the flush manifold and cut to the proper
length.
Caution: Keep tubing away from hot surfaces and sharp edges to prevent damage or leakage.
Chemical Inlet For Compression Fitting
Feed the LDPE tubing through the compression nut and into the male compression fitting until the LDPE tubing
touches the wall of the fitting. Tighten the compression nut to secure the LDPE tubing. Route the tubing to the
dispensing side of the pump and insert into the squeeze tube approximately 1/2”. Secure the tubing together by
tightening a cable tie around the squeeze tube.
Chemical Inlet For Barb Fitting
Feed the tubing through the hose clamp and on to the barb fitting. Squeeze the hose clamp together using a pair
of pliers to tighten. Route the tubing to the dispensing side of the pump and insert into the squeeze tube
approximately 1/2”. Secure the tubing together by tightening a cable tie around the squeeze tube.
Manifold Outlet
Feed the 1/2” I.D. tubing through the hose clamp and on to the barb fitting. Squeeze the clamp together using a
pair of pliers to tighten. Route the tubing to the injection point at the laundry machine.
At this point, the Flush Manifold installation is complete. For programming, refer to the Laundry
Dispenser installation manual.
