Replacement Filters:
Simply P¯UR water filtration system uses P¯UR blue faucet mount filters. Replacement filters are available at most major retail stores, including: home improvement stores, discount stores, drug stores, hardware stores and grocery stores.
Do not use with water above 100˚F/38˚C as this may damage the filter. The Simply P¯UR water filtration system is intended for use with cold water only as hot water can reduce the quality of filtered water.
After each new filter cartridge is installed, run the water 5 minutes to flush it. Then, prior to each use, run water through the filter for 5 seconds to activate the filter.
Simply P¯UR water filtration system is not intended to purify water. Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system. Systems that are certified for cyst reduction may be used on disinfected water that may contain filterable cysts.

USE AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
The Simply P¯UR Water Filtration System is designed for easy use and maintenance. Following these instructions will help maintain the life of the system.
System Requirements:
The system requires the following for proper operation. These were included with the original purchase but must be periodically replaced.
2 AA Batteries – Battery life is approximately one year. To change batteries see instructions on page 11. Batteries are required to operate the light indicator.
P¯UR Filter – P¯UR filter cartridge #RF-4050 L or RF-9999 - the same blue filters used in P¯UR faucet mount system. To replace filter see instructions on page 12.
Use:
Once installed following the instructions provided, the system is ready for use. Simply turn the handle in the on (up) position to dispense filtered water. Your kitchen faucet may be used at the same time as the filter system. If the filter system is not operational, your kitchen faucet will continue to operate normally, unless there is a plumbing issue affecting both units.
Light Indicators:
Green Light - Normal operation - Filter in use. Amber Light - Approaching end of filter life.
Red Light - Replace filter - (Filter system will shut off at the end of filter life.)
Replace with P¯UR blue faucet mount filter RF-4050 L or RF-9999.
Flashing Amber Light - Batteries low (Replace - 2-AA) Flashing Green Light - Low or high water flow - system operational
When battery holder is connected, the red/green light will flash for 10 seconds. The light indicator is operational when the system is in the on mode - handle is in the up
position. Two AA batteries are required to operate the light indicator.
Cleaning and Care:
Care should be given to the cleaning of this product. Although its finish is extremely durable, it can be damaged by harsh abrasives or polish. To clean, simply wipe gently with a damp cloth and blot dry with a soft towel.
Simply P¯UR water filtration system is not intended to purify water. Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system. Systems that are certified for cyst reduction may be used on disinfected water that may contain filterable cysts.
Do not use with water above 100˚F/38˚C as this may damage the filter. The Simply P¯UR water filtration system is intended for use with cold water only as hot water can reduce the quality of filtered water.

Battery Replacement Instructions:
2 AA Batteries – Battery life is approximately one year. Batteries are required to operate the
light indicator - see page 10 for more information about these features.
A. Remove the battery holder (1) from the top of the filter head (2). B. Replace the old batteries with 2 new AA batteries. C. Reinsert the battery holder into the top of the filter head. Make sure battery holder is
pushed in all the way for full engagement. When battery holder is connected, the indicator light will flash red-green for 10 seconds.
Troubleshooting
If filter unit leaks:
A. Check hose connections-retighten if necessary. B. Check lower housing gasket (1) - RP42343 &
upper housing quad-ring (2) - RP42670 for proper installation and/or damage. Replace if necessary.
If leak appears in upper housing (3) but not at hose connections: Remove filter unit and call 1-800-345-DELTA.
If light indicator doesn’t work:
A. Check batteries (4) and proper installation.
See below for battery replacement.
B. Check lightpipe (5) for proper installation and/or
damage. If damaged call 1-800-345-DELTA
If faucet leaks from spout outlet:
Activate the vent feature (refer to page 9 step B).
If faucet leaks continuously:
A. SHUT OFF WATER SUPPLIES-
Replace seat and spring (6) - RP4993 or
B. SHUT OFF WATER SUPPLIES-
Replace stem unit (7) - RP1740.
If faucet exhibits low water flow:
Replace the filter cartridge (8). Remember, the condition of your water may cause the filter cartridge to fill before the filter monitor indicates the cartridge
is full. This is normal and indicates that
the filter is working. If you cannot resolve the problem call 1-800-345-DELTA.

The contaminants or other substances removed or reduced by this water treatment device are not necessarily in all users’ water. Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system. Systems that are certified for cyst reduction may be used on disinfected water that may contain filterable cysts. Individuals requiring water of specific microbiological purity should consult their physician.
The Delta 210 & 211 Series processes approximately 100 gallons/378 liters. When the filter cartridge exceeds filtering capacity, replacement is essential for the product to perform as represented. In the United States, replacement filters generally costs $19.99 each or less. Replacement filters may be purchased at most retail outlets. The performance of the filter may vary based on local water conditions.
Hot water should not be used with the water filtration system as it will affect the filter’s performance (maximum 100°F/38°C – minimum 34°F/1°C).
Refer to the Owners Manual for general unit operation and maintenance requirements. This system has been tested and conforms to NSF/ANSI Standards 42 and 53 for reduction of the substances listed on the next page. The concentration of the indicated substances in water entering the system was reduced to a concentration less than or equal to the permissible limit for water leaving the system, as specified in NSF/ANSI Standards 42 and 53. The system complies with ASME A112.18.1 and CSA B125.
Testing was performed under standard laboratory conditions, actual performance may vary.
