2 Safety instructions and
recommendations
2.1 Safety instructions
CAUTION
Before any work, switch off the mains supply to the appliance.
2.2 Recommendations
Have the installation regularly serviced to guarantee that it operates correctly over time.
It is essential to check the magnesium anode in the DHW tank and the installation and heat transporting fluid pressure every two years.
CAUTION
Never cut the power to the solar control system, even during extended absences. The control system protects the installation against overheating in summer when it is running.
During extended absences, we recommend lowering the set point temperature in the solar DHW calorifier to 45°C. When the user is present, the set point must be set to 60°C.
CAUTION
Never drain the installation. Do not replace or add water or solar fluid to the installation. These actions must be carried out by a qualified technician.
CAUTION
Do not modify the control system parameters unless fully conversant with them.

3.3 Composition of the NF CESI solar systems packages (for France only)
Check the composition of the NF CESI solar system package against the table below. The references and packages listed must be shown on the invoice for the system sold by the installer.
A system is complete and functional according to the NF CESI mark if all system references appear on the invoice. The system is composed of the following elements:
4 A collector field with 1 or 2 solar collectors.
4 A boiler system (Twineo or OEnoviaGas) + solar domestic hot
water tank to which a solar station is mounted in the factory, which includes a heating pump, an expansion vessel and a Diemasol A / Oetrosol A control system.
4 The solar fluid that protects the installation from frost and
corrosion.

4. Operating the appliance 200 SSL
4 Operating the appliance
4.1 Commissioning procedure
CAUTION
Initial commissioning must be done by a qualified professional.
CAUTION
During the heating process, a certain amount of water may flow through the valve or safety unit, this is caused by water expansion. This phenomenon is completely normal and must in no event be hindered.
4.2 Antifreeze protection
Once the DHW tank has been connected to the mains, the unit is managed from the boiler control panel. When in use, no direct action is needed on the DHW tank.
WARNING
Do not switch off the mains supply.
4 Antifreeze protection is guaranteed.
4 Protection of the tank against corrosion.
4.3 Shutting down the solar control system
CAUTION
Do not shut down power to the control system or drain the heat-exchanging fluid.

5. Checking and maintenance 200 SSL
5 Checking and maintenance
5.1 General instructions
CAUTION
4 Maintenance operations must be done by a qualified
engineer.
4 Only original spare parts must be used.
5.2 Safety valve or safety unit (Domestic hot water circuit)
The valve or safety assembly must be operated at least once a month in order to ensure that it is operating correctly and to prevent
possible overpressure which would damage the DHW tank.
5.3 Cleaning the casing material
Clean the outside of appliances using a damp cloth and a mild detergent.
5.4 Sacrificial anode
Have the condition of the anode checked after the first year. The magnesium anode must be checked by a qualified professional at least every 2 years.
WARNING
Failure to comply with this maintenance rule may cause deterioration of the DHW tank and the cancellation of the guarantee.
WARNING
Only operate the valve (red head) on the DHW circuit. Do not operate the valve (yellow head) on the solar circuit.
5.5 Inspection and maintenance of the solar circuit
We recommend that you take out a maintenance contract providing for an annual or biannual check of the fluid level, the antifreeze protection, the pressure of the installation and the expansion vessel, its tightness and its general running.

5.6 solar regulator
The solar control system is governed by the boiler control system. All parameters and settings on the solar control system are managed from the boiler control panel.
¼Refer to the installation and maintenance instructions of the boiler.
5.7 Maintenance of the thermostatic mixing valve
The thermostatic mixer tap does not require any particular maintenance.
