Use Small
Philips Head
Screwdriver
1. Use small Philips Head Screwdriver to remove the 1 screw above Belt Clip.
2. Remove old batteries and replace with new ones according to the polarity symbols marked on the inside of the unit.
3. Replace the cover and tighten the screw.
Caution
Do not mix old and new batteries Always remove old or weak batteries. Dispose of old batteries promptly and properly (Do not burn or bury them)

Using The DF-540 Digital FM Scan Radio
Push to Scan
1. Place ear phones in ears while extending the wire completely.(It acts as your atenna)
2. Switch the volume control(on side) to the middle for power. (Down is off)
3. The volume is controlled in two ways, middle is low and all the way up is high
4. Press button (on front) once to change from station to station. Each time you push the button, you will go to the next station on the dial. The Scanning will start from the lowest station to the highest.
5. Press the RESET button to bring you back to the lowest station, were you began

IMPORTANT
Make sure you turn off the radio after every use, in order to assure longer battery life

Keep the Radio dry and store it at room temperatures Do not drop or strike the Radio. Do not use harsh chemicals or solvents to clean
the casing. Turn off when not in use
Battery life is 20 continuous hrs or 30 minutes
a day for 1 month
