The endurance of capacitors is shortened with internal heating produced by ripple current at the rate of halving the lifetime with every 5°C rise. When long life Performance is required in actual use, the rms ripple current has to be reduced.

The following specications shall be satised when the capacitors are restored to 20℃ after DC voltage plus the rated ripple current is applied for 3000 hours at 105℃.
The following specications shall be satised when the
capacitors are restored to 20°C after exposing them for 1000 hours at 105°C without voltage applied.
Condition Characteristics
STORAGE
1. It is recommended to keep capacitors between the ambient temperatures of 5°C to 35°C and a relative humidity of 75% or below.
2. Conrm that the environment does not have any of the following conditions:
• Damp conditions such as water, saltwater spray, or oil spray or fumes. High humidity or humidity condensation situations.
In an atmosphere lled with toxic gasses (such as hydrogen sulde, sulfurous acid, nitrous acid, chlorine, ammonia, etc.).
Being exposed to direct sunlight, ozone, ultraviolet ray, or radiation.
Exposed to acidic or alkaline solutions.
Under severe conditions where vibration or mechanical shock exceed the applicable ranges of the specication.
3. 2yrs, after 1yr, needs to check characteristics, if NG, needs to do aging.
