SpyderTV System Requirements

❖ DVD player

❖ Remote control

❖ Desktop or laptop PC nearby the TV

with Windows® 2000 or XP operating
system and a USB port.

Ensure that all necessary h ardware is available
(desktop or laptop PC nearb y, DVD player, remote
control for your DVD and fo r your display)

Insert your Test Pattern and Instructions DVD and select
the How to Use SpyderTV men u item to learn how to
optimize your TV.

There are 2 ways to place t he SpyderTV
colorimeter on your screen:

a. Suction cup

b. Tripod

Slide the suction cup down the wire
so that it is on the Spyder TV leg.

Attach the suction cup to t he TV so that the
SpyderTV is in the center o f the screen.

WARNING: Do not press the suct ion cup
down too hard. Be sure to u se the release tab
when removing the suction c up.

Tripod not included.

Snap the suction cup onto t he SpyderTV.
Then, screw the device to t he tripod mount.

Attach to any standard trip od.
Place the tripod with the S pyderTV against the TV.
Tilt and adjust the tripod so your Sp yderTV touches
the TV in the middle and is perfectly flush.

Insert the USB connection o f the SpyderTV colorimeter
into the USB port on your c omputer.

Clicking on your SpyderTV i con on your
desktop, launch the SpyderT V software.

Follow the steps of the sof tware wizard to complete your
optimization using the “hel p” files screens for a more
in-depth explanation of eac h step.

From the Main Menu of the D VD, select Before & After

Images to see the improveme nt in your picture.
