1 Installation of SpeedUp Heat Panels in Dry Installations

Fig. 1: Install SpeedUp perimeter insulation and support batten on dry, even and load bearing substrate.

Fig. 3: Place the SpeedUp heat panels (CZ: pipe distance 250 mm, EZ: pipe distance 125 mm). Fill gaps and unheated areas with blank panels.

Fig. 5: Light constructions (e.g. laminate/engineered timber or strongboard constructions laid directly on the heat panels): rooms > 12 m² glue all perimeter and header panels, rooms < 12 m² glue all panels (recommended).

Fig. 2: Following the layout, begin the installation in one corner with a SpeedUp header panel.

Fig. 4: Snap the pre-scored heat panels as required.

Fig. 6: Where required cut individual pipe channels using the SpeedUp hot wire cutter.

Fig. 7: Support battens in thresholds should be screwed down.

Fig. 9: Press fittings should only be positioned between two aluminum sheets and never in curved sections of pipe.

Fig. 8: Holding the pipe in a large curve to avoid tension, press the composite pipe into the channels. Avoid lifting pipe once installed in the header panels.

Fig. 10: Cover pipe work in front of manifold with SpeedUp load bearing steel to protect against damage.
