All our know-how is channeled into the electronic, software, and mechanics of the PVED-CX. The PVED-CX is designed for optimum reliability and safety – the result of an innovative and very thorough development process.
The PVED-CX is SIL 2 certified according to IEC 61508 by TÜV Süd.
Control and safety principles for PVED-CX
The safety approach of the PVED-CX is based on self- and neighbor-monitoring combined with the ability to shut down all neighbor modules. Spool movement, internal electronics, and software processes are redundantly monitored.
Our complete valve safety concept includes PVG with PVSK.
When using PVED-CX in combination with PVG with PVSK, oil flow is controlled locally by the PVSK. Oil flow to the application can be shut down by both PVSK and valve without influencing other functionality on the vehicle.
PVED-CX – supporting OEMs to meet the required Performance Level.
