Double-Acting Valve

PVBZ-HD

Unique Flexibility

We introduced to the market our first PVG 32 valve two decades ago with a range of high performance electrical actuator options.

The two valve options included in the Danfoss hitch system are the PVBZ-HS single-acting and the PVBZHD double-acting valves. ThePVBZ-HD matches the market standard whereby implements are raised hydraulically and lowered only by the pull of their own weight, thePVBZ-HD has the unique ability to raise, lower and press down.

Best Performance

The benefits of the PVBZ-HD reflect another departure from old hitch norms – increased comfort when attaching implements due to the same speed up and down and safer detachment of heavy implements from the driver’s seat. Once in work mode, the double-acting valve switches automatically over to a single-acting operation for normal field performance.

Containing many of the same components as Danfoss auxiliary valves, the hitch valves are easy to integrate in an existing hydraulic system. The technology on which they are based is long since proven. That leaves a smart new hitch with the best of everything.

Features

Low leakage work port (B port)

Standard 4/3 spools

Standard 4/4 float spools

Electrical mode shift in to pure 3/3 single acting functionality of a doubleacting cylinder

Integrated PVLP 63 shock/anticavitation valve (B-port)

Double-acting

Easy and safe detaching of implements

Quick and easy lowering of hitch arms, also in cold conditions

Single-acting (when in work mode)

Auto fast down to reference depth

Safe detach of hitch arms from drivers seat

Possible to use hitch as jack with “fender buttons”

Applications

Rear and front hitch linkages on medium and high performance tractors

Hitch linkage on telehandlers

Header control on combines and harvesters
