Important - To avoid damage to Boiler and Thermostat, connect
only to OpenTherm connections on boiler, do not connect to any
other power source.

By connecting a volt free switch over terminals 3 + 4 you can provide
an external override to enable a forced 8°C frost protection + HW
store o condition.

1. Before removing dial, turn until setting 1 aligns with reference
mark on front case.

2. Remove dial, lock or limit as required (see note below).

3. Replace dial, ensuring setting 1 aligns with reference mark on
case.

Important Note:
If Holiday Function is required DO NOT adjust lower limit.

Unlike normal room thermostats,
the ORT-10 varies the heat output of
the Opentherm condensing boiler

communication with the Opentherm boiler to ensure optimal
operation.

In addition to the room temperature control, the ORT-10 also
incorporates a feature which, dependant on boiler type, allows
the domestic hot water store in the boiler to be kept hot or to be
turned o, for example when on holiday. To select hot water and
heating o, simply turn the thermostat dial to the holiday position

or press the button if you still wish to control the central

heating only.

Room Temperature Setting 10 – 30°C: Set dial to required room
temperature, domestic hot water store in boiler is kept hot*.
The LCD will ash to show set point and then display room
temperature.

Holiday Setting : Controls room temperature at 8°C, (frost
setting), domestic hot water store in boiler is turned o.

Normal Operation: Flame symbol will be displayed whenever the

boiler is ring. The bars to the right of the displayed temperature
visually indicate the level of modulation at the boiler. 1 bar =25%,
2 bars = 50% etc.

Holiday Mode: When thermostat is put into, or taken out of holiday
setting the LCD will ash for 20 seconds.

Alarm Mode: Should a fault occur with the boiler the LCD will
display Er (or Er + associated error code if boiler functions support)

Belangrijk - Om schade aan ketel en thermostaat te voorkomen
dient de thermostaat alleen op de OpenTherm aansluiting van de
ketel te worden aangesloten.
Door een extern potentiaalvrij (schakel)contact over de klemmen 3
+ 4 aan te sluiten kan de thermostaat vergrendeld worden op een
ruimtetemperatuur van 8°C en warm tapwater functie uitgeschakeld.
De functie is hetzelfde als de instelling op (suitcase symbol here) met
de instelknop.

( zie onderstaand schema).

3. Plaats de instelknop op stand 1 weer terug.

nodig is.

Anders dan bij normale aan/uit
thermostaten regelt de ORT-10
traploos de warmteafgifte van

Instelknop

de OpenTherm ketel waarop hij
is aangesloten. Dit draagt in hoge
mate bij aan het ketelrendement
door te zorgen dat de ketel zo lang
mogelijk in HR (condenserend)
bedrijf werkt.

Dagelijks gebruik is zeer eenvoudig door de instelknop van
de thermostaat simpelweg op de gewenste temperatuur in te
stellen. De geavanceerde elektronika en innovatieve software in
de thermostaat verzorgen de twee-weg-communicatie met de
OpenTherm ketel en verzekeren een optimale werking.

Naast de comfortabele regeling van de ruimtetemperatuur heeft de
ORT-10 ook functies t.b.v. de warm tapwater voorraad. Afhankelijk
van het merk en type ketel kan de warm tapwater voorziening
van de ketel in- en uitgeschakeld worden. Als u geen verwarming
én geen warm tapwater voorraad wenst draait u de instelknop
eenvoudig op de vakantiestand . Als u wel verwarming maar
géén warm tapwater voorraad wenst drukt u op het knopje.

Ruimtetemperatuur instelling 10 – 30°C: Zet de instelknop op
de gewenste ruimtetemperatuur, tapwater voorraad wordt op
temperatuur gehouden*. De display knippert als de gewenste

temperatuur wordt ingesteld en geeft vervolgens, zonder te
knipperen, de werkelijke ruimtetemperatuur weer.

Instellingen

Vakantiestand : Regelt de ruimtetemperatuur op 8°C,
(vorst beveiliging), warm tapwater uitgeschakeld*.

knopje: druk op dit knopje om de warm tapwater voorraad
van de ketel uit te schakelen*. Op de display wordt het
symbool weergegeven.

*(Deze funktie is afhankelijk van het keteltype).

LED-indicator

Opstarten: Na het inschakelen van de voedingsspanning van de
ketel knippert de LCD gedurende 20 seconden.

Normaal bedrijf: Als de thermostaat de ketel inschakelt wordt dit

met een vlam symbool op de display weergegeven. De streepjes
naast het vlamsymbool geven een indicatie over de modulatie
van de ketel. 1 streepje =25%, 2 streepjes =50% etc.

Vakantiestand: Wanneer de thermostaat op Vakantiestand wordt
gezet knippert de LCD twee keer, bij terugzetten op normaal bedrijf
een keer.

Alarm functie: Mocht er een storing in de ketel zijn wordt dit op

de display van de ORT-10 weergegeven met de aanduiding Er of
Er+. Raadpleeg voor details over de storing de handleiding van
uw ketel of uw installateur.
