Locking and Limiting
1. Before removing dial, turn until setting 10 aligns with reference
mark on front case.
2. Remove dial, lock or limit as required (see note below).
3. Replace dial, ensuring setting 10 aligns with reference mark
on case.
Important Note:
If Holiday Function is required DO NOT adjust lower limit.

Unlike normal room
thermostats, the ORT-01
Setting Dial
User Instructions
Daily use is as easy as setting the thermostat dial to the
required setting, the advanced electronics and software within
the thermostat establish two-way communication with the
Opentherm boiler to ensure optimal operation.
In addition to the room temperature control, the ORT-01 also
incorporates a feature which, dependant on boiler type, allows
the domestic hot water store in the boiler to be kept hot or to be
turned o, for example when on holiday. To select hot water o,
simply turn the thermostat knob to the holiday position .

Settings
Room Temperature Setting 10 – 30°C: Set dial to required room
temperature, domestic hot water store in boiler is kept hot*.
Holiday Setting : Controls room temperature at 8°C, (frost
setting), domestic hot water store in boiler is turned o.
*(This feature is dependant upon boiler type).
Indication
Start-Up: When boiler is rst turned on the LED will ash for 20
seconds.
Normal Operation: LED will be lit whenever the boiler is ring.
Holiday Mode: When thermostat is put into, or taken out of holiday
setting the LED will ash for 20 seconds.
Alarm Mode: Should a fault occur with the boiler the LED will ash
continuously to warn of failure.

( zie onderstaand schema).
3. Plaats de instelknop op stand 10 weer terug.

Anders dan bij normale aan/uit

aangesloten. Dit draagt in hoge
mate bij aan het ketelrendement
door te zorgen dat de ketel zo lang

elektronika en innovatieve software in de thermostaat verzorgen
de twee-weg-communicatie met de OpenTherm ketel en
verzekeren een optimale werking. Naast de nauwkeurige
ruimtetemperatuurregeling voorziet de ORT-01 ook in de funktie,
afhankelijk van het type ketel, om de warme tapwatervoorraad
op temperatuur te houden (comfort) of uit te schakelen (eco),
bijvoorbeeld tijdens vakanties buitenshuis. Om de eco-funktie te
aktiveren dient de instelknop op de vakantiestand te worden
gezet.

Instellingen

Ruimtetemperatuur instelling 10 – 30°C: Zet de instelknop op
de gewenste ruimtetemperatuur, tapwater voorraad wordt op
temperatuur gehouden*.
Vakantiestand : Regelt de ruimtetemperatuur op 8°C,

(vorst beveiliging), warm tapwater uitgeschakeld*.
*(Deze funktie is afhankelijk van het keteltype).
LED-indicator
Opstarten: Na het inschakelen van de voedingsspanning van de
ketel knippert de LED gedurende 20 seconden.
Normaal bedrijf: LED is aan wanneer de ketel brandt.
Vakantiestand: Wanneer de thermostaat op Vakantiestand wordt
gezet knippert de LED twee keer, bij terugzetten op normaal bedrijf
een keer.
Alarm funktie: Indien zich een fout in de ketel voordoet, zal de LED
als waarschuwing continu knipperen.
