Continuity Alarm

General Information

Simplify your installation process using the Little Buzzer by Danfoss! The Little Buzzer is designed to monitor Danfoss heating mats and/or cables during the installation process and sounds an alarm if the heating elements are cut or damaged. This allows easy repair before the ﬂoor coverings are laid. The device is battery powered (batteries included).

Note: A continuity alarm does not replace the need for measuring and verifying the ohm resistance three times throughout the installation for warranty purposes.

1. Open the battery compartment and connect the battery. Switch the unit ON, the alarm should sound.

2. Turn the unit to the OFF position during connection to the heating element. Insert power leads into the L and N terminals (polarity not important) and ground wire into the G terminal. Tighten the terminal screws onto the wires and turn the device ON.

3. When the heating element is connected to the Little Buzzer and turned ON, there should be no alarm sound audible. Your ﬂoor is now ready for ﬂoor covering installation.
