EVPN Pneumatic Actuation
New for ECO80LS, the EVPN is an On-Off pneumatic
actuator solution designed for mainly on-road
applications with focus on the vast number of refuse
and snow & ice applications requiring lowering loads
during “dead engine” conditions.
There are two EVPN versions:
Pneumatic Actuation: Designed for all- pneumatic
operator control and adapts to any system that
actuates each control spool individually with external
air supply lines to actuate the spools from neutral to
spool-in & spool-out position.
Electro-Pneumatic Actuation: This patented
technology is designed to adapt to vehicle systems
that utilize electric-over-pneumatic operator controls.
This EVPN version eliminates the need for individual
pneumatic tubing installation at each valve section
and eliminates remotely mounted electropneuematic control stations. Two on board electropneumatic solenoid valves mounted to each valve
section actuate the spools from neutral to Spool-in &
Spool-out position, solenoids are fed from an unique
air supply from end plate (EVO) that’s can be used to
air supply
