ECL Portal – 5-step instructions

Connect the ECL 296 / 310 to Internet

The ECL Comfort 296 / 310 must be connected to the Internet via an
Ethernet cable to Internet gateway.

Go to <Common controller settings→System→ Ethernet> menu in the ECL
Comfort 296 / 310. Configure its network settings to use DHCP IP address
type instead of Static.

Activate the ECL Portal in ECL 296 / 310

The ECL Portal feature is activated in the ECL Comfort 296 / 310 menu
<System→Portal config.>.

You will need the serial number and access code to be able to register it to
your user account. This information is found in the <System→Portal info>
menu.

Create your user account

Create your personal user account on the ECL Portal website:

http://ecl.portal.danfoss.com

Click the <New user> button and follow the instructions.

Register the ECL 296 / 310

Register the ECL Comfort 296 / 310 to your user account via the
<ECL→Register new ECL> menu.

The serial number and access code of the ECL Comfort 296 / 310 is
needed. (See step 2).

Remote control and monitor it

You are now ready to remote control and monitor the heating
installation.

Settings of the ECL Comfort 296 / 310 can be changed, temperatures
and energy consumption can be monitored and you can be alarmed via
e-mail.
