Tech Note
From: Comfort Controls Date: 2004.11.03
We are introducing Euro Cone in some valves of German build size. The Euro Cone is described in the German preliminary norm DIN V 3838. This norm only includes connections with outside treaded pipe G ¾ A and inside cone
Modification
The modification in the valve is situated as illustrated below
Euro Cone
The advantage with Euro Cone is that fittings for Alu-Pex, Pex and cobber pipe from different suppliers can be used on the outlet side of the valve, if these fittings meet the Euro Cone standard. The change to Euro Cone will not have any negative effect as all fittings that could be used with the valves before can still be used.
Affected products
Delivery
When the mentioned order numbers are produced now they are with the Euro Cone. However existing stock will be sold first.
The valves with Euro Cone can be identified by the date stamp in the valve; valves with date stamp later than T4 are with Euro Cone.
