CUT transmission Solenoid control valve replacement procedure

REMOVAL OF CONTROL VALVE

INSTALLATION OF CONTROL VALVE

1) Thoroughly clean external surfaces prior to removal of valve.

2) Remove the coil nut with a 15/16 inch twelve point socket.

3) Remove O-ring, disconnect electrical connection and slide solenoid coil oﬀ of actuator assembly.

4) Using a 1 inch hex wrench, remove actuator assembly from housing.

1) Install the new O-rings on the actuator assembly as shown in drawing below.

2) Install actuator assembly and torque to 10-14 lbf•ft [13-19 N•m].

3) Install solenoid coil onto actuator assembly and torque coil nut to 24-48 lbf•in [3-5 N•m].
