About the heating in your home....
What is a Room Thermostat?
A room thermostat controls the temperature at which your
heating system operates. This will help you save energy by cutting
down on wasteful overheating.
1°C lower = 10% saving on your fuel bill
How does the Room Thermostat work?
The room thermostat controls the heating in your home by
keeping it at the temperature you have set. The room thermostat
switches off the heating when the room temperature reaches the
required level, and switches it on again when the temperature
drops. The heating will not come on if the room temperature is
above the room thermostat set temperature.
Setting the temperature
To set the room temperature turn the dial to the required position.
A comfortable setting is usually between 18°C and 22°C.
