IMPORTANT
INSTRUCTIONS
When using any electrical appliance, some basic safety precautions should always be observed to reduce the risk of re,
electric shock, and/or injury to persons. Read all instructions
carefully before using the appliance. Specically:

Failure to observe the warning may result in life threatening

- Do not operate any heater with a
damaged cord or plug or after the
heater malfunctions, has been dropped
or damaged in any manner. Return
heater to authorized service facility for
examination, electrical or mechanical
adjustment, or repair.
- Never locate heater where it may fall into a
bath tub or other water container.
- Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming
pool.
- If the appliance is located in a room with
bath or shower, respect the “safety distances”
shown in g. 1 and always install away from
taps, basins, showers, etc.
- When using the appliance, make sure that the
switch or other control devices are not within
reach of persons in the bath or shower.
- Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter
any ventilation or exhaust opening as this
may cause an electric shock, re, or damage
the heater.
- CAUTION: to prevent electric shock

inadvertent resetting of thermal cutout, this
appliance must not be supplied through an
external switching device, such as a timer,

- The appliance is not intended for use by
persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory ormental capabilities, or
lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety. Children
should be supervised to ensure that they do
not play with the appliance.
- Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and
whenever the heater is left operating and
unattended.
- Always unplug heater when not in use.
- Use this heater only as described in this
manual. Any other use not recommended
by the manufacturer may cause re, electric
shock, or injury to persons.
- The heater must not be located immediately
below a socket-outlet.
- Do not use outdoors.

To prevent overload and blown fuses, be
sure that no other appliance is plugged into
the same outlet (receptacle) or into another
outlet (receptacle) wired into the same circuit.
- Be sure that the plug is fully inserted into an
appropriate outlet. Please remember that
outlets also deteriorate due to aging and
continuous use: check periodically if signs of
overheating or deformations are evi-denced
by the plug. Do not use the outlet and CALL
your electrician.
Danger of burns!!
Failure to observe the warning could result in burns or scalds.
- This heater is hot when in use. To avoid
burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces.
Use handle when moving this heater. Keep
combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains
at least 3 feet (0,9 m) from the front and top

of the heater and keep them away from the
sides and rear.
- Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not
cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or the
like. Arrange cord away from trac area and
where it will not be tripped over. Do not route
cord under furniture or appliances.
- To prevent a possible re, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on
soft surfaces,like a bed, where openings may
become blocked.
- Do not place the heater near a bed because
objects such as pillows or blankets can fall o
the bed and be ignited by the heater.
- Do not use the appliance to dry laundry, and
do not obstruct the air intake and outlet
grilles (danger of overheating).
- Do not operate the appliance in contact with
walls, furniture, curtains, etc.
- A heater has hot or arcing or sparking parts
inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline,
paint, or ammable liquids are used or stored.
- It is normal for the heater’s plug and cord
to feel warm to the touch. A plug or cord
which becomes hot to the touch or becomes
distorted in shape may be a result of a worn
electrical outlet. Worn outlets or receptacles
should be replaced prior to further use of the
heater. Plugging heater into a worn outlet /
receptacle/ may result in overheating of the
power cord or re.
- If the supply cord is damage, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent
or similarly qualied person in order to avoid
a hazard.
- Do not wrap the cord around the appliance
immediately after use.
- WARNING: Do not cover the appliance while
it is functioning in order to avoid overheating
which may cause risk of re.
Please note:
This symbol indicates recommendations and important
information for the user.
- If your appliance is equipped with a poly-
thene tape used as carry handle, remove it
before connecting appliance to the outlet.
- Always use the appliance stand alone on the
oor and in an upright position.
- To disconnect heater, turn controls to o, then
remove plug from outlet.
- Connect to properly polarized outlets only.
- This heater is not intended for use with an
extension cord or outlet strip. Plug the cord
directly into an appropriate wall receptable.
- Check that neither the appliance nor the
power cable have been damaged in any way
during transportation.
- Do not use the appliance in rooms with a oor
area of less than 43 square feet (4mq).
- Make sure that no pieces of polystyrene or
other packaging material have been left on
the appliance. It may be necessary to pass
over the appliance with a vacuum cleaner.

When switching on the appliance for the rst
time, allow it to run at full power for at least
two hours to get rid of the unpleasant smell.
Make sure that the room in which the appliance
is located is well ventilated during this operation. It is normal for the appliance to emit small
cracking sounds when you turn it on.
- Do not open the appliance. No user-serviceable parts inside.
- Before storing the appliance, check it is completely o and the cable is unplugged. At this
point wrap the cord around the base. Do not
store in a dusty room. The room temperature
should be between 32-86°F (0-30°C). Do not
load anything above it.
- Heaters draw more current than small appliances, overheating of the outlet may occur
even if it has not occured with the use of other
appliances.

Please note: Your product is equipped with a polarized alternating current line plug (a plug having one blade
wider than the other). This plug will t into the power outlet
only one way. This is a safety feature. If you are unable to insert the plug fully into the outlet, try reversing the plug. If the
plug should still fail to t, contact your electrician to replace
your obsolete outlet. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the
polarized plug.
GFI SAFETY PLUG (Appliance Leakage Current Interrupter)
This device provides protection
against electric shock due to ground
fault currents by automatically
shutting o the power. To test the
operation of the GFI Safety Plug ,
switch the heater ON at either the 1 or 2 setting. Press the
TEST button on the GFI Safety Plug located at the end of the
power cord. The heater and fan should stop operating and the
Power Light should be extinguished. Press the RESET button
on the GFI Safety Plug to resume normal operation of the
heater. This device should not be used as on ON/OFF operation switch. “CAUTION: ALTHOUGH THIS DEVICE IS PROVIDED
WITH PROTECTION WHICH REDUCES THE RISK OF ELECTRIC

OPERATION AND USE
Electrical connection
Before plugging the appliance into the mains socket, check
that the mains power supply corresponds to the value
indicated on the rating plate and that the mains
Installation
The appliance can be used on any horizontal stable surface.
Do not overload the electrical circuit.
Avoid using the same socket for other appliances.
Please note: the appliance can be easily moved
carring it by the handle. Before moving it remember to turn
it o.
USE
Operation and use
Plug into the mains, turn the thermostat dial (A) to maximum
and turn the appliance on by means of the function selector
(C) as described below:
- Summer mode (fan only): turn the function selector
to the position.
- Low power operation: turn the function selector to
position 1.
- Medium power operation: turn the function selector
to position 2.
- High power operation: turn the function selector to
position 3.
- To turn the appliance o completely: turn the function
selector to the "0" position and the thermostat to the "
" position, then unplug from the mains.
Adjusting the thermostat
When the room has reached the required temperature, turn
the thermostat dial (A) slowly anticlockwise until you hear a
click and no further.
The thermostat will automatically regulate the temperature
set and keep it constant. In spring or autumn or on mild days,
you can save energy by using minimum power.
Frost prevention mode
With the thermostat dial (A) in the position and one of
the power levels selected, the appliance maintains room
temperature at about 41°F (5°C) preventing freezing with
minimal energy consumption.
Models with 24 hour timer
After setting the thermostat and function selector to the required position, to programme heating, proceed as follows:
- turn the timer disk (B) clockwise until the arrow on the
timer s lines up with the number corresponding to the
current time.
- Set the times when you want the appliance to operate
by pushing the teeth towards the outside. Each tooth
corresponds to 30 minutes.

The radiator will now function automatically each day at the
times set.
Please note: To use the appliance without program-
ming, push all the teeth outwards.
MAINTENANCE
- Always unplug from the mains socket before cleaning.
- During the season when the appliance is in use, clean
the air intake and outlet grilles regularly using a vacuum
cleaner.
- To clean the dust lter, remove the rear grille by pulling
it outwards.
Remove the dust lter which retains impurities in the air
drawn in from the room, blow on it lightly then replace
in the appliance.
- Never use abrasive powders or solvents to clean the
appliance.
TROUBLESHOOTING

al reajuste involuntario del disyuntor térmico,
este electrodoméstico no debe ser alimentado a través de un dispositivo de conmutación
externo, como un temporizador, ni conectado

- El termoventilador se calienta durante el funcionamiento. Para evitar quemaduras, no toque supercies calientes con la piel desnuda.
Utilice el asa para mover el termoventilador.
Mantenga los materiales combustibles, como
muebles, almohadas, ropa de cama, papeles,
ropa y cortinas, a una distancia mínima de 3
pies (0,9 metros) del frente y de la parte superior del aparato, y manténgalos alejados de
los costados y de la parte trasera.
- No tienda el cable por debajo de una alfombra. No cubra el cable con tapetes, caminos

- Es normal que la clavija del termoventilador
y cable se sientan calientes al tocarlos. Una
clavija o cable que se caliente al tacto o que se
deforma puede ser el resultado de un tomacorriente desgastado. Los tomacorrientes o receptáculos gastados deben ser reemplazados
antes de seguir usando el termoventilador.
Enchufar el calentador en un tomacorriente /
receptáculo desgastado / puede provocar un
recalentamiento del cable de alimentación o
un incendio.
- Si el cable de alimentación está dañado, debe
ser reemplazado por el fabricante, un servicio
técnico autorizado o una persona con cualicación similar para no correr riesgos.
- No enrolle nunca el cable alrededor del aparato inmediatamente después del uso cuando
está caliente.
- ADVERTENCIA: No cubra el aparato mientras
está funcionando para evitar un recalentamiento que podría causar un incendio.

ÚNICAMENTE PARA USO DOMÉSTICO
Atención: Su producto está equipado con una clavija
polarizada de corriente alterna (un enchufe que tiene una
cuchilla más ancha que la otra). Esta clavija entra en el tomacorriente en una sola posición. Es una característica de
seguridad. Si no puede insertar la clavija completamente en
el tomacorriente, intente invertirla. Si la clavija aún así no
entra, llame a su electricista para reemplazar su tomacorriente obsoleto. No altere la nalidad de seguridad de la clavija
polarizada.
CLAVIJA DE SEGURIDAD GFI (interruptor de circuito por

FUNCIONAMIENTO Y USO
Conexión eléctrica
Antes de conectar la clavija al tomacorriente, revise que el
voltaje de la red corresponda al valor indicado en la placa
de características y que la red de alimentación sea adecuada
para la carga utilizada.
Instalación
El aparato se puede utilizar sobre cualquier supercie
horizontal estable. No sobrecargue el circuito eléctrico.
Procure no utilizar el mismo tomacorriente para otros
aparatos.
Atención: el aparato se transporta fácilmente
llevándolo por el asa. Antes de desplazarlo, acuérdese de
apagarlo.
USO
Funcionamiento y uso
Enchufe el aparato a la corriente, gire el mando del termostato
(A) hasta la posición máxima y encienda el aparato con el selector de función (C) como se describe a continuación:
- Uso Verano (solo ventilación): gire el selector de fun-
ción hasta la posición
- Funcionamiento con potencia mínima:gire el selec-
tor de función hasta la posición 1.
- Funcionamiento con potencia media:gire el selec-

tor de función hasta la posición 2.
- Funcionamiento con potencia máxima:gire el selector de función hasta la posición 3.
- Para apagar el aparato completamente: gire el selector de función hasta la posición "0" y el termostato en
la posición " ", después desenchufe el aparato de la
corriente.
Regulación del termostato
Cuando el ambiente haya alcanzado la temperatura elegida,
gire lentamente el mando del termostato (A) en el sentido
antihorario hasta oír un clic. El termostato mantendrá
automáticamente la temperatura elegida regulada y
constante. En primavera u otoño o en días templados, es
posible ahorrar energía utilizando la potencia mínima.
Función antihielo
Con el mando del termostato (A) en la posición y uno de
los niveles de potencia seleccionados, el aparato mantiene
la temperatura ambiente a 41°F (5°C)aproximadamente,
impidiendo fenómenos congelación y con un consumo
energético mínimo
Modelos con temporizador 24 horas
Después de colocar el termostato y el selector de función en
la posición preferida, programe la calefacción de la siguiente
manera:
- gire el mando del temporizador (B) en sentido horario
hasta que la echa del temporizador s coincide con el
número de la hora actual.
- Ajuste la cantidad de horas que quiere que el aparato
funcione empujando las pestañas hacia afuera. Cada
pestaña corresponde a 30 minutos.
El calefactor ahora funcionará automáticamente cada día a la
hora congurada.
Atención: Para utilizar el aparato sin programación,
empuje todas las pestañas hacia afuera.
MANTENIMIENTO
- Siempre desenchufe el aparato de la corriente antes de
limpiarlo.
- Durante la temporada cuando se utiliza el aparato, limpie
las rejillas de entrada y salida de aire regularmente con
una aspiradora.
- Para limpiar el ltro de polvo, quite la rejilla tirando
hacia afuera. Retire el ltro de polvo que retiene las
impurezas del aire extraído de la habitación, sople
ligeramente y vuelva a colocar en el aparato.
- No use nunca polvos abrasivos o disolventes para limpiar
el aparato.
BÚSQUEDA DE AVERÍAS
PROBLEMA CAUSA SOLUCIÓN
