CULLIGAN FRESH DRINKING WATER SYSTEM
-MODEL CSS2500 Dispenser
General Description
The Culligan® Fresh Drinking Water system processes water from an approved potable water source. The
process is designed to produce fresh, high quality drinking water for use in supermarkets.
The Culligan
A Reverse-Osmosis System, which is typically located in a "back room," supplies water for store use
as well as to the dispenser. The unit can be customized for particular water problems and is easily
expandable if volume warrants.
The CSS2500 dispenser is a retail bulk water dispenser. The dispensing unit is designed to use a
minimum of valuable retail floor space and, from a marketing viewpoint, to help sell water.
The Dispenser
The dispenser has been carefully designed to accommodate almost all in-store retail situations. An
adjustable spout allows consumers to fill containers of various sizes. An ultraviolet light in the dispensing
spout compliments an ultraviolet light inside the dispenser. A carbon block-polishing filter reduces any
objectionable taste or odor. The dispenser has been designed to be attractive to children, but all controls
have been placed out of their reach. The small physical dimensions of the dispenser allows placement in
almost any indoor area.
Performance
The water produced by the Culligan
and local drinking water regulations. A built-in Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) monitor prevents water from
dispensing if TDS exceeds approximately 50 ppm.
Dimensions
The dispenser is 22" wide, 20" deep, 84" in height. 6” of overhead clearance is needed. The unit weighs
145 lbs. The standard bottle rack is 24 inches wide and 14 inches deep.
Electrical
The dispenser requires a standard 115 VAC 10 AMP grounded service connection.
Plumbing
Use only NSF approved polyethylene tubing available from Culligan Store Solutions to supply water to this
unit. Schedule 80 PVC pipe can be substituted for PE tubing. DO NOT USE COPPER PIPE TO SUPPLY
WATER TO THE DISPENSER.
Additional electrical and plumbing hookup instructions are available from Culligan Store Solutions.
