LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY ON CENTERPOINT SCOPES

Your CenterPoint™ scope is warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for the
lifetime of the original owner. This warranty does not cover damages due to fair wear and tear, failure
to provide routine maintenance, and does not include batteries or accessories. This warranty lasts as
long as the original purchaser owns the product, and is not transferable. In the event of a defect under
this warranty, we will, at our option, repair or replace the product provided our inspection indicates
that an original defect exists. CenterPoint reserves the right to replace any product which is no longer
available with a product of comparable value and function. If CenterPoint determines the repair is not
covered under the warranty guidelines, there could be a charge to you for the repair. This is a limited
warranty and does not cover damages caused by misuse, improper handling or installation or mainte­nance provided by someone other than CenterPoint.

This limited warranty does not include consequential damages, incidental damages, or incidental
expenses, including damage to property or any other expense. CenterPoint disclaims any implied war­ranties. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages,
or allow limitations on implied warranties so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specic legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state
to state and country to country.

Learning the parts of your scope

Learning the names of the parts of your new sight will help you to understand your owner’s manual.

Mounting Procedure

1. Remove rings from the scope and mount the rings bases to your rail system.

2. Set the scope in the ring bases and check the eye relief. Adjust as necessary.

3. Verify the reticle is square to the rie and install the top of the rings.

CAUTION: DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN as it will damage the scope.

Variable Power Adjustments

To change the magnication, simply rotate the magnication ring to align the desired magnication with
the index dot.

This product contains a chemical known to the state of California to cause can-

Red or Green Dot

1. Remove the battery cover from the red/green illumination

dial by turning the cover counter clockwise while holding the
sides of the illumination dial

2. Install one CR2032 3V lithium battery into the compartment

with the “+” side up

3. Replace the cover and tighten in by turning it clockwise,

while holding the sides of the illumination dial

4. Turn the red/green illumination dial to illuminate the red or

green dot. The brightness will change as you turn the dial.
The markings on the dial show the color and intensity of
the light. Lining the “R” or “G” up with the dot will turn the
illumination off

Zeroing the Scope

The purpose of zeroing the scope is to ensure that the scope is aligned with the
impact point of the pellet or bullet from the rie. Before zeroing the scope, read
the following adjustment knob instructions carefully.

• Place a target 100 yards away.

• Ideally use a steadying device such as a bipod or shooting stand, set the
scope at the highest magnication, aim at the center of the target and re a
test shot, if safe to do so.

• If the impact point of the bullet is exactly in the center of the target then the
scope is zeroed. If it is not, you will need to adjust the reticle using the eleva­tion and/or windage adjusters.

• Remove the caps from the windage and elevation dials

• Vertical Adjustment (Elevation) - Use your ngers to turn the adjusting knob as required. One click in
either direction equals approximately 1/2 inch at 100 yards or ½ MOA.

• Horizontal Adjustment (Windage) - Use your ngers to rotate the adjusting knob as required. One
click in either direction equals approximately 1/2 inch at 100 yards or ½ MOA.

• Having adjusted the windage and elevation as required, re, if safe to do so, another test shot. Keep
adjusting and test ring until the test shot impacts on the center of the target when the reticle is on
the center of the target. This is vital for accurate shooting.

• Once the scope is zeroed, be sure to put the windage and elevation caps back on.

Maintenance

• Keep the scope away from harsh chemicals.

• Always use a soft cloth, moistened with alcohol to clean any dust or dirt from the lenses of your

scope.

• Take care not to drop or knock the scope once it is zeroed.

• Keep the protective lens covers in place when the scope is not being used.

• Store the scope in a cool dry place when not in use.

• Be careful to avoid contact with acid, alkaline or corrosive chemicals.

• Do not attempt to lubricate any part of the scope.

• Do not disassemble the scope. Do not loosen or remove any screws or parts. Any such or similar
actions will void the warranty.

• Wipe the lens with a clean annel cloth to keep it clean and dry. Do not use nger or nger nail to
touch or clean lenses.

• Use only a clean annel cloth for cleaning.

• To maintain battery life, turn illumination off when not in use.

• For extended storage, remove the battery.

Procedimiento de instalación

1. Quite los anillos de la mira e instale las bases de dichos anillos en su sistema de carriles.

2. Asiente la mira en las bases de los anillos y compruebe la distancia ocular. Ajústela según sea necesario.

3. Compruebe que la retícula esté escuadrada respecto del rie e instale la parte superior de los anillos.

PRECAUCIÓN: NO APRIETE EN EXCESO, ya que esto dañará la mira.
Ajustes de potencia variable

Para cambiar la magnicación, simplemente gire el anillo de magnicación para alinear la magnicación deseada con el
punto de índice.

Punto rojo o verde

1. Quite la tapa de la batería del selector de iluminación roja o verde

girando la tapa en sentido contrario al de las manecillas del reloj
sosteniendo los lados del selector de iluminación

2. Instale en el compartimiento una batería de litio CR2032 3V con el

lado “+” hacia arriba.

3. Vuelva a colocar la tapa y apriétela girándola en el sentido de las

manecillas del reloj mientras sostiene los lados del selector de ilumi­nación

4. Gire el selector de iluminación rojo o verde para iluminar el punto rojo

o verde. El brillo cambiará a medida que gire el selector. Las marcas
del selector muestran el color y la intensidad de la luz. Alinear la “R” o
“G” con el punto apagará la iluminación

Puesta a cero de la mira

El objetivo de la puesta a cero de la mira es asegurar que esté alineada con el punto de
impacto del diábolo o la bala del rie. Antes de la puesta a cero de la mira, lea cuidadosamente
las siguientes instrucciones de las perillas de ajuste.

• Coloque un blanco a 100 yardas de distancia

• Idealmente, utilice un dispositivo de estabilización como un bípode o un soporte de tiro,
ajuste la mira a la magnicación más alta, apunte al centro del blanco y dispare un tiro de
prueba, si es seguro hacerlo

• Si el punto de impacto de la bala está exactamente en el centro del blanco, la mira está
puesta a cero. Si no es así, deberá ajustar la retícula con los ajustadores de elevación o de
compensación de viento.

• Quite las tapas de los selectores de compensación de viento y elevación

• Ajuste vertical (elevación) - Utilice los dedos para girar la perilla de ajuste según sea necesario. Un clic en cualquier
dirección es igual a aproximadamente 1/2 pulgada a 100 yardas o ½ MOA.

• Ajuste horizontal (compensación de viento) - Utilice los dedos para girar la perilla de ajuste según sea necesario. Un

• Habiendo ajustado la compensación de viento y la elevación según sea necesario, haga otro disparo de prueba si es
seguro hacerlo. Siga ajustando y haciendo disparos de prueba hasta que el tiro de prueba haga impacto en el centro
del blanco cuando la retícula se encuentre en el centro del blanco. Esto es vital para disparar con precisión.

• Una vez que la mira esté puesta a cero, cuide de colocar nuevamente las tapas de compensación de viento y de
elevación.

Mantenimiento

• Mantenga la mira apartada de sustancias químicas agresivas.

• Siempre use un paño suave humedecido con alcohol para limpiar el polvo o suciedad de las lentes de su mira.

• Procure no dejar caer ni golpear la mira una vez que esté puesta a cero.

• Conserve en su lugar los cubrelentes cuando no esté utilizando la mira.

• Guarde la mira en un lugar fresco y seco cuando no esté usándola.

• Tenga cuidado de evitar el contacto con ácidos o sustancias químicas corrosivas o alcalinas.

• No intente lubricar ninguna parte de la mira.

• No desarme la mira. No aoje ni quite ningún tornillo o pieza. Cualquier acción así o similar anulará la garantía.

• Limpie la lente con un paño limpio de franela para mantenerla limpia y seca. No utilice el dedo o la uña para tocar o
limpiar las lentes.

• Use sólo un paño de franela limpio para la limpieza.

• Para mantener la vida de la batería, apague la iluminación cuando no esté usándola.

• Para un almacenamiento prolongado, extraiga la batería.
